193: Chapter 193: Simple? The Warhawk Squad's Collective Breakthrough

"Locked on... he actually locked onto the target three hundred meters away during a sideslip?!" Su Qingcheng covered her mouth, the shock in her eyes nearly overflowing.

She had seen in the training manual that an attack helicopter's weapons system needs the fuselage to be stable to lock on precisely; the error in a sideslip could reach over ten meters.

But Su Han... it was as if he treated the helicopter as his own arm, hitting wherever he pointed!

Just then, the helicopter suddenly came to a dead stop, hovering twenty meters directly above the target.

"Watch closely!" Su Han's voice came through the cockpit broadcast, ringing clearly in everyone's ears.

Before his voice had even faded, a flash of fire suddenly erupted from the pylon under the fuselage!

"Swoosh—!"

Two simulated training missiles, trailing white exhaust, accurately struck the target three hundred meters away!

The moment the target crashed down, the helicopter suddenly pulled up, simultaneously performing a 360-degree aerial barrel roll, the movement as smooth as flowing water.

"Boom!"

Before the dust from the collapsed target could settle, the helicopter was already steadily hovering in the center of the training field, barely five meters off the ground.

The airflow from the rotors scattered the dust on the ground, revealing Su Han's smiling face inside the cockpit.

The entire training field was deathly silent.

Everyone looked up at the helicopter suspended in mid-air, their minds completely blank.

The walkie-talkie in Zhou Mo's hand fell to the ground with a "clatter." He stood with his mouth agape, unable to utter a word for a long time.

The elites of the War Eagle Squad had seen their fair share of big scenes, but none of them had ever seen someone fly an attack helicopter like a toy while also performing a full set of special operations tactical maneuvers.

Monkey rubbed his eyes and muttered, "Was I... just watching an Air Force stunt performance?"

Lynx silently picked up the walkie-talkie and suddenly blurted out, "Captain, I think... Captain Wang might need to apply for a pilot's license for the Chief Instructor."

The soldiers of the Womens Special Operations Team were even more dumbfounded.

Li Xue pinched herself, hissing in pain—this wasn't a dream! Their Chief Instructor really just glanced at the manual and turned an attack helicopter into a dogfighter!

Su Qingcheng gazed at the familiar figure in the cockpit, suddenly remembering what Su Han had said: "In a Special Forces Soldier's dictionary, there is no such word as 'impossible'."

It turned out he wasn't just boasting.

He really... could turn every "impossible" into "a matter of course."

Inside the cockpit, Su Han looked at Big Bear, who was still panting in the co-pilot's seat, and smiled as he patted his shoulder. "How was it? Was this 'instructional flight' enough for them to remember the key operations?"

Big Bear suddenly snapped out of it, looking at Su Han as if he were a monster. "Old Su... tell me honestly, are you an alien? Or... were you really a fighter pilot before?"

Su Han raised an eyebrow, neither admitting nor denying it. He simply pushed the control stick. "Going down. Remember to give them a lecture on the changes in avionics parameters just now, especially the radar frequency when locking onto a target."

The helicopter descended slowly, the rotor speed gradually decreasing, and the airflow it created became gentler.

The moment the cabin door opened, Zhou Mo was the first to rush up, grabbing Su Han's arm and looking him up and down as if checking if any parts were missing.

"Are... are you okay?" Zhou Mo's voice was still trembling slightly.

Su Han smiled and shook off his hand. "What could be wrong? It's much easier than carrying gas tanks in a fire."

"Easier?!" Big Bear climbed down from the co-pilot's seat, his legs so weak he almost fell. He pointed at the helicopter's engine and cursed, "Do you know how much the engine temperature exceeded the limit just now? If you had pulled up three seconds later, this unit No. 07 would have had to retire early! And those two training missiles—you actually fired them in a sideslip? If Instructor Zhang from the Army Aviation Brigade saw this, he'd have to get on his knees for you!"

He grew angrier as he spoke, finally pointing at Su Han's nose. "I'm telling you, Old Su! Next time you want to pull a stunt like this, don't call me! I want to live a few more years to see you win the championship in next year's cross-Military Region exercise!"

Su Han couldn't help but laugh at his huffy expression.

He turned to look at the stunned Womens Special Operations Team and tilted his chin. "Did you all understand?"

Only then did the seven of them snap out of their daze. They stood at attention and saluted in unison, their voices so loud they could shake leaves off the trees. "Understood!"

"Good that you understand." Su Han's gaze swept over them. "Simulation flight training starts in a bit. Everyone must complete the Half-roll Reverse and Sideslip Locking on the simulator."

He paused and added, "Of course, the simulator's difficulty will be lowered by thirty percent."

The female soldiers glanced at each other, seeing excitement and... a hint of eagerness in each other's eyes.

That thrilling flight just now was like a spark, igniting the ruthlessness deep in their hearts—if the Chief Instructor could do it, why couldn't they try?

Watching this scene, Zhou Mo suddenly felt his throat go dry.

The metal door of the simulation training pod closed with a "clang," shutting out the noise from outside.

The light inside the pod was dim, with only the indicator lights on the dashboard flickering with a faint blue glow. The air was filled with a faint smell of machine oil, almost identical to the atmosphere of a real helicopter cockpit.

Zhou Mo plopped down in the co-pilot's seat, ripped off his tactical gloves, rubbed his stiff fingers, and looked at Su Han, who was adjusting the pilot's equipment. His voice carried an uncontrollable franticness: "Old Su, you have to give me the truth today—where on earth did you learn these helicopter piloting skills?"

Monkey squeezed in as well, leaning halfway between the two seats, his eyes wide. "Exactly! Don't tell me you learned it from a manual! I spent three months gnawing on that 'Armed Helicopter Special Operations Regulations' back then, and even now, my nighttime hovering is still shaky. You take one look and dare to pull a Half-roll Reverse? Do you take us for fools?!"

As he spoke, he suddenly lowered his voice, looking mysterious. "Were you in some secret unit before? I heard the headquarters has a 'Shadow Special Operations Team' where everyone is a decathlete, flying fighter jets like they're toys..."

Su Han's fingers, which were calibrating the simulated aiming scope, paused. He glanced at them sideways, a familiar cunning smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "I told you, I played with civil helicopters a few times with friends before joining the army. I know the basic operations."

"Civil?!" Zhou Mo almost bounced out of his seat, pointing at the weapons system diagram on the simulator wall. "Do civil helicopters have this stuff? Do they have missile locking functions or sideslip evasion programs? Find me a civil helicopter with rocket launchers and see if I believe you!"
