64: Chapter 64: The King of Soldiers' Strength That Shocked the Entire Audience

Moonlight spilled onto the small path of the fishing village. Su Han dragged a comatose kidnapper with one hand and the wailing Man in Tang Suit with the other, slowly walking toward that three-story building.

The Man in Tang Suit's knees had been shattered by bullets, and blood dragged two long trails on the beach.

His face was pale, cold sweat soaking his Tang suit, as he groaned incessantly, "Please... let me go... I can give you money..."

Su Han remained expressionless, only tightening his grip a bit more. "Shut up."

The two were dragged into the first-floor lobby, where a thick smell of blood hit them.

Over a dozen corpses lay scattered on the floor, each shot through the forehead or heart, killed in a single blow.

The walls were splattered with blood, with bullet holes and signs of explosions visible everywhere.

Seeing this, the Man in Tang Suit finally broke down. "Devil... You are a devil..."

Ignoring him, Su Han walked straight toward the second floor.

————

In the room on the second floor, Miss Chen was still curled up under the bed, trembling all over.

When she heard footsteps approaching, she covered her mouth in terror, tears flowing silently.

"Miss Chen, it's me," Su Han crouched down and said softly.

Miss Chen looked up, seeing that blood-stained yet resolute face through her teary eyes.

She could no longer control herself and threw herself into Su Han's arms, weeping loudly. "I thought... I thought I was going to die..."

Su Han gently patted her back. "It's okay, it's all over."

He helped Miss Chen stand up, but found that her legs were weak, making it impossible for her to walk.

"I... I can't walk..." Miss Chen said weakly.

Without a word, Su Han picked her up in his arms. "Close your eyes, don't look."

But it was too late. As Miss Chen was carried through the first-floor lobby, that hellish scene still caught her eye.

Her body trembled violently, and suppressed sobs escaped her throat.

"Don't look," Su Han pressed her small head against his shoulder. "Deep breaths, we'll be out soon."

————

Outside the building, the sound of sirens approached from the distance.

The SWAT team led by Officer Liu was the first to rush into the fishing village, with Su Wu and Chen Zhiyuan following closely behind.

When they saw Su Han walking out of the building carrying Miss Chen, everyone was stunned.

"Xiaoya!" Chen Zhiyuan was the first to react, stumbling forward to take his daughter from Su Han's arms. "My child... are you okay?"

Miss Chen shook her head weakly and hugged her father tightly, her tears bursting forth again.

Officer Liu led the SWAT team to quickly surround the building. When he stepped into the lobby, even the experienced veteran detective couldn't help but gasp—

The entire lobby was like a slaughterhouse, with over a dozen corpses lying on the ground in various positions, each killed with a single shot.

Bullet holes and bloodstains covered the walls, and the air was thick with the smell of gunpowder and blood.

"Ugh!"

Many police officers who had never seen such a bloody scene couldn't help but lean against the walls and vomit.

"This... he did all this by himself?" a young SWAT officer's voice trembled.

Even for SWAT officers, they had never seen such a scene.

To an outsider, it would have looked as if a war had broken out here!

Officer Liu didn't answer; his gaze fell on the staircase—

Su Han was dragging the Man in Tang Suit down; the latter's legs below the knees were soaked in blood, leaving a long trail on the floor.

"Captain Liu, the main culprit," Su Han threw the Man in Tang Suit in front of Officer Liu. "There are two more survivors in the basement; one is unconscious, and the other is scared witless."

Officer Liu looked at the blood-covered young man before him, momentarily at a loss for words.

Having handled cases for many years, he had never seen such a clean yet bloody and violent rescue operation.

"You... you aren't injured, are you?" Officer Liu finally managed to squeeze out.

Su Han shook his head and wiped the blood from his face. "It's all their blood."

Just then, Su Wu rushed in. His face changed drastically upon seeing the corpses all over the floor. "Third Grandpa! Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Su Han flexed his wrist. "A pity I didn't leave many survivors."

Officer Liu gave a bitter smile. "It's already enough... These people were all vicious outlaws; capturing the main culprit is already an unexpected boon."

————

Outside the fishing village, medical staff were examining Miss Chen.

Chen Zhiyuan held his daughter's hand tightly, occasionally looking at Su Han, who was receiving a simple bandage nearby, his eyes filled with complex emotions.

"Dad..." Miss Chen spoke weakly, "That person saved me... He... he was like a superhero..."

Chen Zhiyuan nodded and stood up to walk toward Su Han.

"Mr. Su," Chen Zhiyuan bowed deeply. "I don't know how to thank you... If it weren't for you, my daughter would..."

Su Han waved his hand. "Chairman Chen is too polite; it's what I should have done."

"No, it is definitely not 'what you should have done'," Chen Zhiyuan said firmly. "From now on, you are the great benefactor of our Chen family. If you need anything, just ask!"

Su Wu, standing nearby, couldn't help but interject, "Chairman Chen, my Third Grandpa is serving in the military and might be promoted to an officer soon..."
