112: Chapter 112 Taking on a tycoon as a lackey feels pretty good.

The rain at Sagamore Estate has finally stopped.

The air carried the damp, earthy scent of soil, and a corner of the oppressive black clouds had dispersed, revealing a few sparse stars.

Chen Yuan stepped out of the gate that had been half-destroyed by the explosion.

His pace was brisk.

Behind him, the ten Tyrants remained as silent as iron towers; though covered in some dust, their suffocating sense of pressure hadn't diminished in the slightest.

"Mr. Chen, please wait."

An aged but noticeably energetic voice came from behind him.

David Rockefeller was surprisingly not in his wheelchair.

He leaned on the ebony cane that had just been thrown to the ground; though his steps were still a bit unsteady, his back was held straight.

His face bore an unnatural flush, a testament to the Nanites frantically repairing his body.

Butler Alfred followed behind, holding a black briefcase; the arrogance in his eyes as he looked at Chen Yuan had vanished, replaced only by deep awe.

"Is there something else?"

Chen Yuan stopped and turned sideways.

He lit a cigarette, the flame illuminating his young and arrogant face.

"This is... a small token of my sincerity."

David took the briefcase from the butler and handed it to Chen Yuan with both hands.

His movements were as respectful as a subject presenting a tribute to a king.

"Inside are some of the Rockefeller Family's 'hidden assets' from around the world."

The old man's voice was kept very low.

"Including several unrecorded energy pipelines, three private military bases in the Middle East, and... our hidden shares in several major Hollywood studios."

Chen Yuan raised an eyebrow.

He casually took the briefcase and weighed it in his hand.

It was light.

But the contents inside were heavy enough to crush a person.

"Hollywood shares?"

Chen Yuan exhaled a smoke ring, his gaze playful.

"Old man, you're quite sensible."

"It is my honor to share your burdens."

David bowed his head, his tone humble.

"I know you've been interested in the entertainment industry lately. While these shares aren't many, they're enough to give you... smooth passage in that circle."

"Not bad."

Chen Yuan patted David's shoulder.

"It seems that pill wasn't wasted on you. Work hard; as long as I don't die, you won't either."

David trembled all over, then revealed a look of ecstasy.

"Yes! Yes! Thank you, Master!"

Chen Yuan said no more, turning to board the bulletproof cadillac.

The motorcade roared as it departed.

Leaving behind the once-arrogant tycoon standing on the wet steps like a loyal old servant, watching the taillights disappear into the night.

"Boss, this... it's over just like that?"

Inside the car, Victor held the briefcase, feeling as if he were dreaming.

He opened it for a look, and his eyes nearly popped out.

"My God! It says here... 30% preferred stock in Universal Pictures? And Disney's... Heavens! This old fellow has given you half of Hollywood!"

"This is what you call vision."

Chen Yuan leaned back in his seat, resting with his eyes closed.

"To a dying man, money is just scrap paper. If it can buy life, forget half of Hollywood—he'd be willing to dismantle the Statue of Liberty and sell it for scrap metal."

Victor chuckled, the fat on his face wobbling.

"Boss, now that we have these things, can we walk tall in America from now on?"

"Walk tall?"

Chen Yuan opened his eyes and glanced at the street scenery rushing past outside the window.

"Victor, your vision is still too narrow."

He pointed at the documents in the briefcase.

"These things aren't for walking. They're for flying."

"Flying?" Victor was stunned.

"Exactly."

Chen Yuan sat up straight and opened the holographic projection map inside the car.

His finger slid across the map, past bustling New York and the vast central plains, finally stopping at the brightest point of light on the West Coast.

Los Angeles.

City of Angels.

Hollywood.

"Since I have chips in hand, I have to go play at the biggest casino."

Chen Yuan looked at that point of light, the ambition in his eyes growing wildly like weeds.

"I will not only control Wall Street's money, but also Hollywood's mouthpiece."

"I want the movies people see, the songs they hear, and even the idols they worship across the globe to be branded with the Umbrella label."

"This is the true... cultural invasion."

Victor's blood boiled as he listened.

"Boss, when do we set off?"

Chen Yuan turned off the map, a wicked smile curling at the corner of his mouth.

"Now."

"Notify the flight crew and apply for a flight path."

"Also..."

He thought of Jessica's exquisite face and her promise regarding a "spokesperson."

"Send a message to Jessica."

Chen Yuan took out his phone and composed a text message.

It was just one short sentence:

[I want to watch a show.]

"Tell her I'll be coming with the best 'resources'."

"Tell her to gather all those so-called best actress winners and directors for me."

Chen Yuan looked out at the pitch-black night sky.

It was as if he could already see the massive waves about to surge beneath Hollywood's giant white sign.

"Next."

He whispered softly.

"Let's go have some fun in Hollywood."

"Let's see how many people in that vanity fair are willing to sell their souls to the devil for 'youth' and 'opportunity'."
