182: Chapter 182 This armor is too revealing; can it be modified?
The girl in the mirror was covered from head to toe in a layer of deep, dark black metallic fluid.
This set of nano-battle armor, named "Dark Night Phantom", did not have a single seam.
It was like a second layer of scales growing directly on her skin.
The cold, smooth metallic texture outlined Chen Nuo's graceful curves, which had originally been hidden by her down jacket, leaving nothing to the imagination.
Although it still carried a touch of youthful innocence.
The visual impact of the skin-tight fit, comparable to Catwoman in Hollywood movies, was still extremely destructive.
Chen Nuo suddenly covered her face and squatted down.
"Brother! Why is this clothing like this!"
Her face was so red it was almost dripping blood.
Her voice came out muffled from between her fingers, carrying a hint of shame and anger mixed with a sob.
"It's too revealing! Can you change it? Adding some fabric would be fine too!"
Dr. Zola, standing to the side, almost jumped up upon hearing this.
To a mad scientist, questioning his work was even more painful than killing him.
"Add fabric? Oh God!"
"Young Miss, you are blaspheming against great science!"
Dr. Zola pushed up his heavy goggles and leaned in, spitting as he spoke.
"The outer layer of this battle suit uses super-fluid non-Newtonian nano Materials!"
"To ensure that when it receives the kinetic impact of a large-caliber sniper rifle, it can instantly disperse the force point across the entire body, it must maintain an absolute, zero-seam fit!"
"Any excess fabric will destroy its stress conduction structure!"
Dr. Zola gesticulated like a fanatical salesman.
"Furthermore, the skin-tight design maximizes the reduction of air resistance!"
"If you had an extra piece of fabric while performing supersonic tactical evasion, the resulting wind resistance would directly tear your spine apart!"
Chen Nuo was left dizzy by this barrage of hardcore physics terminology.
But she still clutched her chest tightly, refusing to stand up.
"I don't care about any aerodynamics!"
"Anyway, I absolutely won't go out dressed like this! How is this any different from wearing nothing!"
Chen Yuan leaned against the console.
Watching his younger sister's embarrassed expression, as if she wanted to dig a hole and hide in it, he finally couldn't help but chuckle.
In this underground fortress filled with slaughter and conspiracy.
Only the little girl in front of him could bring a rare touch of vitality.
"Alright, Zola, put away your hardcore, violent aesthetic."
Chen Yuan walked over and pulled Chen Nuo up from the floor.
He patted his sister's stiff, straight shoulders, his tone filled with a hint of helpless indulgence.
"Girls, you know, sometimes dignity is more important than being bulletproof."
"Red Queen."
"Present, Boss."
"Access the tactical camouflage module database. Load a trench coat projection onto the outer physical rendering of the "Dark Night Phantom"."
Chen Yuan casually pointed to the deep black tactical trench coat he was wearing.
"Make one for her, scaled down proportionally, in the same style as mine."
"Add Advanced optical camouflage and a physical tactile simulation engine."
"Command received."
The moment Red Queen's mechanical voice faded.
The surface of the tight black battle suit on Chen Nuo suddenly rippled with a fine, deep blue light, like water waves.
The nano-metal particles rearranged themselves frantically within milliseconds.
In the blink of an eye.
A textured, deep black, slim-fit tactical trench coat appeared out of thin air on Chen Nuo.
The hem hung just above her knees, perfectly covering those embarrassing curves.
Not only that.
This trench coat, simulated by nano-particles, was realistic to the extreme, even down to the wrinkles and the drape of the fabric.
Chen Nuo tried touching the hem of the coat.
To her surprise, it really felt like the slightly coarse texture of Advanced windproof fabric.
"Wow! This is so cool!"
Chen Nuo was instantly revitalized.
She ran to the full-length mirror and spun around excitedly.
The hem of the trench coat fluttered with her movements.
Combined with the dimly visible "Dark Night Phantom" battle armor underneath, she instantly transformed from a pure college student into a fierce, future female warrior filled with Killing Intent.
"Brother! I love this outfit so much!"
She rushed over, grabbed Chen Yuan's arm, and shook it back and forth.
"In the future, when I go out wearing this, let's see who dares to call me a weak girl who can't even truss a chicken!"
Chen Yuan smiled and ruffled her ponytail.
"As long as you like it."
"But remember, this outfit is for saving your life. Don't show off outside unless it's absolutely necessary."
"I know, I know!"
Watching his sister completely shake off her previous gloom and regain her vitality.
The tight string in Chen Yuan's heart also relaxed slightly.
At least in this dog-eat-dog world, he finally had the confidence to say he could protect his only living relative.
Just as the siblings were enjoying a rare moment of tenderness.
The heavy airtight door of the underground armory was suddenly pushed open from the outside.
"Boss!"
Victor rolled in like a sentient meatball.
The expression on his face was extremely strange.
With thirty percent panic and seventy percent shock, he reported eagerly before he could even catch his breath.
"News from the outer perimeter sentry!"
"A bulletproof Hongqi sedan with license plates from the Chinese Embassy in the US has driven straight to the gate of our manor!"
The smile on Chen Yuan's face vanished instantly.
His eyes became deep and cold once again.
"Chinese officials?"
He turned the ring on his thumb, his tone playful.
"They're quick. They finished watching the live stream and followed the internet connection right to my door?"
"Boss, should I have the Tyrant stop them outside?"
Victor swallowed hard and suggested nervously.
"After all, we caused quite a commotion earlier. What if they're here to hold us accountable..."
"We can't stop them."
Chen Yuan shook his head.
"Being able to drive an embassy car straight to my door shows that the person is of a very high rank."
"And the person coming is definitely an old fox."
He turned to look at the surveillance monitor on the console.
A black bulletproof sedan with a bright Five-Star Red Flag was parked quietly outside the bullet-ridden iron gate of Elysium Manor.
The car door opened.
A middle-aged man wearing a black jacket, with a crew cut, and a posture as straight as a pine tree stepped out of the car.
He stood still on the messy lawn.
He looked up towards the main building of the manor.
His gaze was so sharp that it seemed to pierce through the thick concrete walls and look straight into people's hearts.
"Boss, do you know him?" Victor asked, following Chen Yuan's gaze.
"Know him? More than that."
Chen Yuan watched the familiar man with the crew cut on the screen, a meaningful, cold smile curling at the corner of his lips.
"Victor, open the gate."
"Go and invite our 'special envoy' from back home in."
"This is an old acquaintance who can actually call the shots."
