151: Chapter 151 Full Alert: Hide All the Zombies

"All hands at Level One Alert!"

Chen Yuan's roar echoed through the underground base's broadcast system, shattering several cold-light tubes in the hallway.

The entire Elysium Manor erupted into chaos at that moment.

It wasn't the orderly discipline shown when facing The Pentagon's army, but an unprecedented, frantic scramble.

"Move! Everyone, move the hell out!"

Victor, looking like a ball of sentient flesh, rolled crazily through the base.

He clutched a walkie-talkie, his spit flying everywhere.

"Public Relations Department! Get those blood-stained sandbags outside the gate removed! Replace them with welcome flower baskets!"

"Security Department! Stuff all your Gatling guns and RPGs into the sewers!"

"Replace them with batons! Batons, understand? We need to demonstrate the restraint and civility of a legitimate enterprise!"

Chen Yuan stood in the main control room, staring at the surveillance screens, his scalp tingling.

Half an hour.

He only had half an hour.

To disguise this den of demons, where even the Grim Reaper would have to pay a toll to enter, as a legitimate Pharmaceutical Factory full of love and technology.

"Alice, how are things going with the Tyrants?" Chen Yuan pinched his brow.

"Boss, we've encountered a slight technical difficulty."

The surveillance feed switched to the barracks on the third underground level.

Hundreds of T-103 Mass-Produced Tyrants, standing 2.2 meters tall with bulging muscles, stood rooted to the spot like wooden stakes.

Several logistics staff members stood on stepladders, sweating profusely as they tried to dress them in extra-large black suits.

"This suit is too tight! Number Three! Don't expand your chest! The clothes are going to rip!"

"Riiip—"

A custom suit worth thousands of dollars was instantly torn into shreds by the Tyrant's unconsciously bulging latissimus dorsi.

Watching this scene, Chen Yuan nearly spat out a mouthful of blood.

"If there are no suits, put them in security uniforms! If that doesn't work, put them in white lab coats!"

He roared into the microphone, "Weld those sunglasses onto their faces!"

"Anyone who dares to reveal those dead fish eyes and scare my sister, I will destroy him myself!"

The scene shifted.

A group of giants wearing black sunglasses and tight white lab coats finally managed to form a neat line.

Although they still looked like a group of thugs ready to rob a bank.

At least it was much better than the green-faced, fanged biochemical monster look from before.

"What about the Lickers?" Chen Yuan continued to check for omissions.

"They are being handled."

The fourth underground level.

Dozens of mutated Lickers, skinless with their brains directly exposed to the air.

Were being stuffed into the ceiling ventilation ducts by several engineering Tyrants, as if they were stuffing cotton.

"Hiss—"

A Licker let out a protest hiss.

Its scarlet long tongue hung in mid-air, dripping with viscous acid.

"Shut up! Hold it in!"

Victor, who knows where he found a large broom, jabbed it hard into the Licker's backside.

"Stay inside and behave!"

"If you dare make a single sound, I'll stew you all and feed you to the dogs tonight!"

Accompanied by a teeth-gritting friction sound.

The tail of the last Licker finally disappeared behind the louvers.

Victor wiped the cold sweat from his forehead with lingering fear.

He was just about to breathe a sigh of relief.

A drop of foul-smelling green mucus dripped, unfortunately, onto his expensive Armani suit.

"Use air freshener! Cover up all the smell of blood here for me!"

Chen Yuan's voice came over the broadcast again, like a death knell.

Victor hurriedly directed his subordinates to bring in box after box of lemon-scented air freshener.

The entire hallway was instantly filled with a bizarre scent similar to a cheap public restroom.

But that wasn't the worst part.

The worst part was Zola's laboratory.

When Chen Yuan rushed into the core laboratory, he felt his blood pressure had already soared to 280.

"What are you doing?!"

He saw Dr. Zola clutching a glass jar filled with mutated organs, refusing to let go.

"Boss, this is three months of my hard work!"

Zola cried like a child who had lost a toy, "This is a perfect genetic mutation sample!"

"Throw them all into the freezing chamber and lock it!"

Chen Yuan strode over, snatched the jar, and shoved it directly into the explosion-proof cabinet.

"My sister is coming soon! Do you want her to tour human anatomy in a Pharmaceutical Factory?"

Chen Yuan pointed to the rows of petri dishes along the wall soaking unknown biological limbs.

"Replace them! Replace them all!"

"But replace them with what?" Zola pushed up his goggles, feeling aggrieved.

Chen Yuan scanned the surroundings.

His gaze locked onto several plush toys in the corner that were originally used as test bait for the test subjects.

"Use those!"

Five minutes later.

The originally eerie and terrifying evil laboratory, full of Frankenstein style, changed its aesthetic completely.

Inside the huge culture tanks.

The green nutrient solution was drained and replaced with transparent distilled water.

What was soaking in the water was no longer deformed flesh with tentacles.

But rather huge Hello Kittys, Pink Panthers, and Peppa Pigs.

Under the cold light.

These waterlogged plush toys exuded an indescribable sense of eeriness and absurdity.

"Put away those chainsaws and scalpels too! Replace them with microscopes and test tubes!"

While directing, Chen Yuan took off the black tactical trench coat on his body that smelled of gunpowder smoke.

He casually grabbed a white lab coat and threw it over himself.

In order to make himself look more like a medical expert saving lives.

He even put on a pair of non-prescription gold-rimmed glasses for the first time.

At this moment, Elysium Manor.

The power to the outer high-voltage electric fence was cut, and it was replaced with warm-toned garden lights.

Those chilling heavy machine gun bunkers at the main entrance.

Were cleverly covered by flower baskets filled with tulips and roses.

Those mercenaries who had spent years walking on the edge of life and death.

Were now each wearing ill-fitting security uniforms.

Trying hard to squeeze out what they thought were the kindest, sunniest smiles on their faces.

Even if that smile was uglier than crying.

"Boss, the car has arrived at the front gate."

Alice walked to Chen Yuan's side.

In her hands, she was unusually holding a blue folder for recording data instead of any weapons.

Her signature blonde hair was tied into a capable ponytail.

She looked like a most ordinary administrative secretary with a monthly salary of five thousand yuan.

"Is everything ready?"

Chen Yuan stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window in the lobby and took a deep breath.

He found himself even more nervous than when he faced General Ross's tanks.

His palms were covered in fine cold sweat.

"All blood stains have been cleaned up."

"The Red Queen has taken over all surveillance and blocked off sensitive areas."

"The airtight doors of the underground facilities have been completely welded shut; even with explosives, it would take thirty minutes."

Alice reported methodically.

"Very good."

Chen Yuan pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses.

He tried his best to make his expression look gentle and elegant, full of the love and tolerance a brother should have.

"Remember, we are a legitimate Pharmaceutical Factory dedicated to improving animal health, full of love and social responsibility."

Victor nodded frantically beside him, smiling until his facial muscles were about to cramp.

His comical appearance slightly eased the tension in the air.

"Screech—"

A slight sound of car tires rubbing against the ground came from outside the door.

A yellow taxi stopped in front of the gate of Elysium Manor, which had just been freshly repainted.

The air in the lobby instantly solidified.

Everyone held their breath, as if facing an impending judgment.

Even those cold-blooded mercenaries were clenching their fists nervously.

It was as if what stood outside the door was not a young girl, but an army of one hundred thousand.

"Click."

The heavy mahogany door was gently pushed open from the outside.

A ray of bright sunshine poured in through the crack in the door.

Dispelling the gloom that had lingered in this building for years.

Immediately after.

A young girl wearing a white down jacket and a high ponytail walked in with light, brisk steps.

She was holding a selfie stick high in her hand.

On the phone screen, dense barrages of comments were scrolling crazily.

"Wow! Family, this is my brother's Pharmaceutical Factory! It looks so impressive!"

Chen Nuo greeted the camera with a grin.

Her voice was crisp and melodious, carrying the youthful vitality unique to her age.

Then.

She turned her head, her clear, big eyes scanning the empty lobby.

Finally.

Her gaze locked onto Chen Yuan, who was standing in the center, wearing a white lab coat with a somewhat stiff smile.

"Brother!"

Chen Nuo rushed over like a happy little bird.

She hugged Chen Yuan's arm.

And shouted loudly into the camera on the selfie stick:

"I'm here!"

"The fans can't wait! Hurry up and show us around your company!"
