113: Copy Dragon

David was a smart man, and naturally understood the deeper meaning, leaving him speechless at the moment.

Excited, he stepped forward and hugged Arthur, blurting out without thinking:

"Arthur, thank you so much. I truly don't know how I can repay you later.

Speaking of which, my sister is about your age and quite attractive. Why don't you two spend some time together and see if you're a good match!"

David felt that only by forming a marriage alliance with Arthur could he adequately repay him for all his help!

But after speaking, David looked at Karona, who was standing beside Arthur, and a hint of awkwardness appeared on his face.

After all, suggesting Arthur take another wife right in front of his current one seemed a bit inappropriate!

Although Karona didn't react to this, she was already extremely satisfied with being Arthur's official wife.

But in the eyes of the guilt-ridden David, Karona was now glaring at him unkindly.

He quickly explained:

"Oh dear, I was too excited just now, I was talking nonsense!"

The embarrassed David didn't feel comfortable staying any longer, so he immediately headed out of the city, seemingly intending to meet up with the caravan outside.

Due to David's departure, the matter just now was dropped.

Arthur and Karona watched David leave from the castle gates until he was out of sight, then returned to the castle.

No further incidents occurred in the following two weeks. Time, filled with Arthur's anticipation, finally reached the new month: October.

On October 1st, the excited Arthur didn't even use the newly acquired random draw.

After greeting Karona, he immediately left with Victor in the early morning for the location where Melita and others were holding the Water Attribute Giant Dragon.

Three hours later, Arthur arrived at the designated location under Victor's guidance!

After using two magical scrolls for Underwater Breathing, he immediately headed toward the seabed.

After Melita and others sensed Arthur's Aura, they hurried over to greet him.

Led by Melita and others, Arthur finally arrived at the trench where the Water Attribute Giant Dragon was hidden.

Of course, under the magical concealment of Melita and others, the trench currently looked no different from the ordinary seabed!

Only when Melita raised her Staff and canceled the magic used for concealment did a deep, bottomless trench enter Arthur's view.

The trench looked deep and terrifying, but with Melita and these other Experts by his side, Arthur was naturally fearless.

After jumping into the trench and descending a full five hundred meters, Arthur finally saw a massive beast with a fifty-meter body.

It was Stanley, the Water Attribute Giant Dragon!

Stanley was currently not only bound by a Secret Technique Seal but was also tightly restrained by six magically summoned Water Pythons, rendering him completely immobile.

But an oppressive force still unintentionally emanated from him—that was the unique Dragon Might belonging to a Dragon!

Arthur, who only possessed Silver rank strength, felt it when he approached Stanley, the Water Attribute Giant Dragon.

That Dragon Might caused fear to rise from the depths of Arthur's heart toward the beast before him, making Arthur hesitant to proceed!

Victor, the Sky Knight, also felt some discomfort, but he could overcome it!

As for Melita and others, who were also Legendary Experts, the Dragon Might Stanley subconsciously emitted had no effect on them!

Arthur was the master who had summoned Melita and others.

They constantly paid attention to Arthur, and seeing his discomfort, they quickly spread their Legendary Aura to counteract the Dragon's oppressive force.

"We apologize, Lord Arthur, we were negligent!"

Melita and others felt they had failed in their duty by allowing Arthur to feel discomfort, and quickly apologized.

Ordinary shields cannot block Dragon Might.

This was why Melita did not activate a shield, but merely spread her Aura.

After Melita spread her Aura, Arthur finally recovered from the Dragon's Dragon Might!

Although he suffered a minor setback, Arthur was not angry; instead, he was rather happy.

He would soon possess such a terrifying Dragon; the thought alone was thrilling!

How could such an Arthur blame Melita and others?

He waved his hand and said:

"It's fine!"

Because Arthur's Portable Shop copies items, Stanley, the Dragon, not only hadn't lost any limbs but had also fully recovered from all his injuries!

This ensured that Arthur could copy a perfectly intact Dragon!

On the other side, Stanley, the Dragon, saw that Melita and others, despite being Legendary Experts, showed such respect to Arthur, who was merely Silver rank.

He immediately began searching his mind for information about Arthur, thinking that if he found anything useful, he might be able to convince Arthur to let him go.

Unfortunately, Stanley was destined to search in vain. Arthur's reputation had only spread within the Kate Kingdom.

Stanley, being a Legendary Expert, how could he possibly pay attention to such a person!

Moreover, even if Stanley knew Arthur, Arthur had no weaknesses that could be exploited for coercion or temptation.

Therefore, after thinking for a long time, Stanley couldn't recall when a figure like Arthur had appeared on the Continent of Gods!

Meanwhile, Arthur was unaware of Stanley's thoughts. He simply approached the restrained Stanley quickly, protected by Melita and others.

Then, to Stanley's confusion, he lightly touched him!

Following this touch and Arthur's silent command to copy, an item identical to Stanley immediately appeared in the Portable Shop.

Since others couldn't see it, the excited Arthur checked the item description:

"A powerful adult Water Attribute Giant Dragon, possessing Late Stage Legendary strength. Even a typical Legendary Peak Expert is no match for it!

Price: One hundred million gold coins!"

The System was very fair regarding pricing: all Legendary Experts cost exactly one hundred million gold coins!

And a perfectly intact Water Attribute Giant Dragon would likely not fall into a disadvantage even fighting three against one against Melita and others!

Thus, purchasing the Dragon later would be more cost-effective!

After the copy was complete, the living Stanley, the Water Attribute Giant Dragon, was no longer useful to Arthur!

On the contrary, he was a liability, since Stanley already knew Arthur was unusual!

Therefore, the moment the copy was finished, Arthur gave Melita a look, and she immediately understood.

She first cast a spell to separate the water around the Dragon. This was to prevent the Dragon's blood from mixing with the seawater after it was injured and killed.

Dragon blood, after all, is extremely valuable, and mixing it would be too wasteful!

Stanley saw the exchange of glances between Arthur and Melita and knew that they were about to attack him.

Stanley didn't understand why they had protected him so well before, making him think Melita and others intended to subdue him.

He was even preparing to display the pride of a Dragon!

But what the heck was this? Arthur meets him once and immediately wants to kill him!

Why didn't they ask if he was willing to surrender? What if he was?

Is having a Dragon as a subordinate really that unattractive?!
