68: Two legends
It must have been done by a third-party force outside the Kingdom and the Royal Court. This makes the situation on the Doreen Peninsula even more complicated in the future!
In the current situation, Flynn dared not act rashly. He could only wait silently for the Legendary figures from both nations to arrive.
Of course, before that, Flynn had to hide. Otherwise, if the Orc powerhouses and Legendary figures arrived first and used him as a punching bag, that would be unfortunate!
Fortunately, the two Legendary figures arrived almost at the same time. Seeing the tragic scene below, they both frowned.
As old rivals for hundreds of years, they understood each other very well.
Knowing that the other party was not responsible, they did not draw swords but instead tacitly scanned the entire scene together, searching for clues.
Seeing their own Legendary figure arrive, Flynn emerged from the shadows and said to a strong old man whose hair was somewhat gray but whose face had no wrinkles:
“Old Ancestor!”
Hearing this, the Human Legend turned to look:
“So it’s Flynn! You arrived before us. Have you found any additional clues, or do you know who cast the Forbidden Curse Magic?”
Flynn dared not neglect the inquiry from the Kate Kingdom's only Legendary figure and quickly said:
“Old Ancestor, I also rushed here after discovering the anomaly. By the time I arrived, it had already been nearly twenty minutes since the incident occurred!
The perpetrators had long disappeared. I think the surviving Orcs on the ground might know more than I do!”
“So that’s how it is. What a pity!”
As the Human Legend sighed, the Orc Legend with a tiger head in the distance also simultaneously lowered his slightly perked ears, then looked down at his tragic kin.
It seemed he was also very concerned about the people behind this.
Looking around, the strongest among the nearly million Orcs below were only at the Silver stage.
Gold Knight level powerhouses certainly had spatial equipment, and wealthy individuals among the Silver stage also had it.
So, the Orc army was now reduced to only Silver stage individuals by Victor and the others.
Scanning around, the Orc Legend spotted a Silver-rank Minotaur whose mental state was still relatively good, and immediately flew towards him.
Flynn and the Human Legend did not follow but secretly paid attention to the situation there.
The Orcs certainly knew the appearance of their Legendary figure. So, when the tiger-headed Orc flew towards him, not only the mentally stable Silver Minotaur but also the surrounding Orcs knelt down.
“Greetings, My King!”
The Orc Legend was once the King of the Orc Royal Court, so everyone used this title for him.
“Get up quickly! I just want to know who dared to kill so many of my clan members. Did you see the killer’s face and figure before? You tell me!”
The Orc Legend pointed at the leading Silver Minotaur.
Seeing their King inquire about the killer of this incident, the Silver Minotaur powerhouse seemed to find an outlet for his emotions. His bull eyes immediately turned red, tears welled up, accompanied by fear, and he cried:
“Your Majesty, the situation just now was extremely chaotic. In my memory, first, our Clan Chief, Cote, discovered something was wrong and fled into the distance.
Then we realized that a meteor carrying terrifying power was smashing towards us.
Before we could recover from the meteor’s impact, we found five Peak Sky Knights wearing full human armor, whose faces were unseen but whose figures were similar to humans, surrounding Clan Chief Cote.
In just about a minute, the Clan Chief was captured alive by those five!
Afterward, four of those five split off and charged into our Orc army. They seemed to love wealth very much; all of our clan’s powerhouses wearing spatial equipment were killed by those four!
After only fifteen minutes, they finished their looting and fled in that direction!”
Saying this, the Silver Minotaur pointed in the direction of an uninhabited area!
Then the Silver Minotaur remembered something else and added:
“Oh, and all five of them were lightning-attribute powerhouses!”
“All lightning-attribute!”
Hearing this, the Orc Legend was also shocked.
One must know that the lightning attribute is a relatively rare attribute; at least one in a thousand knights will possess it, and all of them are powerhouses among their peers.
Five Sky Knights all possessing such a rare attribute—the information contained within is truly immense!
Coupled with that terrifying Legendary magic, it's unknown whether it was caused by a scroll or if there truly was a Legendary Mage behind it!
Thinking of all this, the Orc Legend even had a slight thought of not wanting to investigate further!
He couldn't help but cast a searching glance at the Human Legend in the distance, as if asking if he knew of such a force near the two nations.
The Human Legend silently shook his head, indicating he also didn't know.
For a moment, the several people fell into a stalemate!
But with the thought that he might still find clues, the Orc Legend ultimately chased in the direction where Victor and the others had disappeared earlier.
The Human Legend and Flynn, however, did not pursue.
Because the appearance of five lightning-attribute Peak Sky Knights and Forbidden Curse Magic contained too much information.
Leaving aside the Legendary magic, just the sheer number of lightning-attribute powerhouses.
At least the Kate Kingdom couldn't cultivate such a force. Comparing them, it was clear that the power behind the five individuals was not simple.
Most likely, the Kate Kingdom couldn't compare.
In that case, since that group only eliminated the Orcs and had not yet caused harm to the Kingdom,
Then there was no need to interfere.
From another perspective, those five had eliminated many Orcs, which was a help to them, so they had even less reason to offend them.
The Orc Legend actually didn't want to bother with this matter either, but since his clan members had died, he had to give everyone an explanation.
Otherwise, even with his exceptional strength, others would not be truly convinced by him.
After the Orc Legend left, the Human Legend and Flynn also returned in the direction of the Kingdom.
However, when the few of them departed, they all looked preoccupied.
After such an incident, Flynn lost interest in staying in Initial City. After briefly explaining the situation to everyone, he returned to the Kingdom.
And the many lords of Initial City, upon learning that a mysterious force had appeared on the Barren Plains, were momentarily unsure whether to be happy or worried.
The good news was that this force helped them eliminate many Orcs who had been enemies just two days prior.
The worry was that with the existence of that force, the situation on the Barren Plains became even more bizarre, and it might become more difficult for everyone to survive there.
Thus, the lords gathered in Initial City also became preoccupied.
Due to the sudden incident, the celebration party for repelling the Orcs thus ended without a resolution!
Only Arthur remained calm!
David and the others thought Arthur wasn't worried because of his great strength, and they all showed envious expressions.
Only Arthur himself knew that the mysterious force was him; how could he worry about himself!
