90: Mermaid Doria

Receiving Arthur's command, Andel immediately flew towards the figure below!

As the distance grew shorter, Arthur clearly saw that the person lying unconscious on the plains was actually a human girl, appearing to be thirteen or fourteen years old.

What was slightly strange was that the little girl was not only wearing a small blue slip dress, but her hair was also a rare azure blue!

Arthur had never seen anyone with blue hair in the Kate Kingdom, which showed how rare this hair color was, suggesting that the unconscious girl's identity was not simple.

The little girl was lying face up on the ground, seemingly having fallen into a deep slumber.

Judging by her slightly furrowed delicate brows, even in her sleep, her mood was not good.

"How could a little girl like this appear in the uninhabited area of the Barren Plains?"

This question popped into Arthur's mind. Relying on the legendary ring of protection, and being bold due to his skill, he directly ordered the Two-Headed Wyvern Andel to land.

Arthur then leaped from Andel's back and landed beside the little girl.

Looking at the little girl's adorable appearance, a sense of familiarity suddenly surged into Arthur's mind, as if he had seen her somewhere before.

But Arthur couldn't recall it immediately, leaving him completely baffled.

After observing her, Arthur realized the little girl seemed to have fainted due to excessive fatigue.

He then took out an Intermediate Healing Scroll from his space ring.

Arthur had plundered the wealth of countless people; he might not have many Advanced Magic Scrolls, but he had hundreds or thousands of Intermediate and Low-level Magic Scrolls.

Using one now didn't hurt at all.

After Arthur used the Healing Scroll, the rich Life Energy that surged from the scroll was quickly absorbed by the blue-haired little girl.

Afterward, the little girl's tightly furrowed brows relaxed, showing signs of waking up.

Sure enough, a minute later, the little girl opened her large, sapphire-like eyes.

Even her pupils were blue, showing that her identity was truly extraordinary.

Coincidentally, Andel's ferocious Dragon Head happened to lean in at that moment to check on the little girl.

The blue-haired little girl, seeing such a terrifying sight the moment she opened her eyes, immediately screamed:

"Ah! Monster! Don't eat me!"

While screaming, the little girl instantly cast an Advanced Magic.

Surging water immediately gathered around the little girl, then spread out like a ring, pushing everything away.

Facing this Advanced Magic, which was at least Tier 7, Arthur and the Two-Headed Wyvern Andel were pushed by the ring of water to a distance of a hundred meters away from the little girl.

After pushing Arthur and his companion away, the little girl tried to cast another Magic, but a look of pain appeared on her cute face—her Magic Power was exhausted!

The little girl had fainted earlier due to exhaustion, so naturally, she had little Magic Power left.

Having just woken up and cast an Advanced Magic, how could she have any Remaining Strength!

Even so, Arthur was a little startled!

Judging by the little girl's appearance, she was at most thirteen or fourteen years old, yet she could use Advanced Magic—a Spell that only a Magister could cast!

Moreover, her Casting Speed was nearly instantaneous, a privilege only possessed by a Legendary Mage.

Generally speaking, only Legendary Mages could Instant Cast Magic below the Legendary level.

Could this girl be a Legendary figure herself?

As soon as this thought popped into Arthur's mind, he immediately dismissed it.

Because through observation, he noticed that when the little girl cast Magic, the necklace around her neck resonated with it.

Therefore, the little girl's ability to Instant Cast Advanced Magic must be related to the necklace she was wearing.

Only then did the little girl notice Arthur, the "shorty," beneath Andel's nearly fifteen-meter-long Dragon Body!

She let out another gasp of surprise:

"A human!"

There was a degree of joy in this gasp, because in the little girl's understanding, encountering only the terrifying Two-Headed Wyvern would almost certainly mean death.

But if she encountered a human she could communicate with, there was at least room for negotiation.

Furthermore, looking at the Dragon Saddle on the Two-Headed Wyvern's back, it was clear that the Flying Dragon was merely a human's mount.

Even though her parents and Older Sister had warned her that humans were "no good," they were still much better than fierce Demonic Beasts!

On the other side, Arthur watched as the blue-haired little girl's gaze shifted from surprise to joy, and then to wariness.

He couldn't help but sigh internally, wondering if he really looked that much like a Bad Guy.

He put on what he thought was a kind smile and laughed:

"Hello, Little Sister, no need to be nervous. I mean you no harm. Just a few minutes ago, I used a precious Healing Scroll on you.

I believe you can feel it, right? Otherwise, you wouldn't have recovered so quickly!"

Hearing this, the blue-haired little girl examined her body and found that there were indeed remnants of Life Energy.

This meant the Young Man's words were true; he must genuinely be one of the rare good people among humans.

Thinking of this, the wariness in the little girl's eyes when looking at Arthur finally lessened.

But some wariness remained, which was understandable, as they had just met and trust was hard to come by.

After clearing up the misunderstanding, Arthur approached the little girl again.

Seeing this, although the little girl looked a little nervous, she didn't stop him.

Noticing the little girl's nervousness, Arthur introduced himself first:

"Hello, my name is Arthur. I am a human Lord, and the one next to me is my partner, Andel."

Arthur didn't know why, but he felt a sense of familiarity with the little girl, so his patience was exceptionally high.

Perhaps influenced by Arthur's attitude, the girl was no longer so nervous around him and replied softly:

"Hello, my name is Doria!"

"Doria, the Mermaid High Priestess!"

The moment he heard the name, Arthur couldn't help but voice the thought that had flashed through his mind.

He finally understood why the little girl felt familiar!

Didn't Doria—the appearance of this blue-haired little girl—look extremely similar to a Game Character he had played before his Transmigration?

It could even be called identical!

This made Arthur momentarily suspect if he had Transmigrated into a Game World.

But the memories in his mind indicated that there was absolutely no connection between the two.

Perhaps it really was just a coincidence. Arthur quickly cleared his head!

Although Arthur quickly sorted out his thoughts, Dolia was terrified!

Her mind was completely filled with:

"How did this human discover her identity as a Mermaid!"

Although she was only the Mermaid Princess, not the Mermaid High Priestess, the Mermaid part was correct!

Being a Mermaid was not a good identity in the human kingdoms. Doria often heard people around her say that human Nobles loved capturing beautiful little Mermaids like her!

She hadn't planned on telling Arthur her Mermaid identity, but she never expected the human in front of her to guess it. Would this human also want to capture her?
