152: Reach cooperation

So she asked nervously:

"Your Majesty, what kind of goods do you want me to sell on your behalf?"

"Just these!"

With that, Arthur opened his palm, revealing ten large space rings.

Seeing that there were ten space rings just for holding items, Avril knew that the goods to be sold for this task were far more than she had imagined.

Then, with curiosity, she began to examine the items within the ten space rings.

She didn't know until she checked, and when she did, she was startled. Avril's first reaction was that this batch of treasures was incredibly vast and extremely valuable, worth at least six billion gold coins.

From this, it could be seen that Avril's ability was quite considerable, as the actual value of this batch of goods was approximately 7.3 billion gold coins.

Avril had merely glanced at them and estimated the value with remarkable accuracy.

After being astonished by the quantity of these treasures, Avril's next feeling was one of familiarity; she had a sense of familiarity with this batch of goods.

This was not surprising, as most of these treasures were plundered by Arthur from Kate Kingdom.

Previously, most of the precious items owned by the nobles in Kate Kingdom were purchased from the Dawn Merchant Guild. How could Avril not be familiar with her own guild's products?

So, the more Avril looked at these treasures, the more familiar they became. After discovering that some of them were well-known treasures of the former Kate Royal Family and certain nobles,

the clever woman realized the origin of these goods. They must have been treasures obtained by the unknown experts who plundered Kate Kingdom, and by The Three Legends who plundered the Royal Family.

A look of surprise involuntarily appeared on her pretty face.

The wealth obtained from plundering the Royal Family was not surprising, as this was simply the victor taking all.

However, the wealth obtained by those previously unknown Sky Knights who plundered the kingdom's nobles was something Avril had not expected.

This meant that The Three Legends had been eyeing the former Kate Kingdom for a long time, only acting now.

"Could this batch of goods be...?"

Avril didn't know if Arthur minded revealing the origin of these goods, so she only spoke half her thought.

Arthur had completely taken control of Lionheart Kingdom, so he naturally wasn't afraid of exposure.

However, he didn't explicitly state it; after all, if the remaining nobles knew about this, it would slightly affect his reputation.

It was better to avoid unnecessary trouble, so he just smiled and replied:

"It's just as you think!"

Hearing this, Avril understood Arthur's meaning; her conjectures were all true.

However, that was not something glorious, so Avril did not press further.

Her biggest concern now was that these treasures were of immense value, and even with the Dawn Merchant Guild's capacity, selling them all would take years.

If Arthur was too impatient, she wouldn't be able to manage it, so she couldn't help but ask.

"Your Majesty, the Dawn Merchant Guild can sell these treasures on your behalf, but the quantity is truly immense, and it might take quite some time."

Arthur naturally understood that these treasures were of immense value!

It should be noted that he currently only had 2 billion gold coins in cash, while these treasures were worth 7.3 billion gold coins, more than three times his current cash.

Treasures of such immense value were naturally not easy to sell, and Arthur expressed his understanding.

"It's fine if it takes a long time, as long as they are all sold!"

Hearing Arthur's words, Avril also breathed a sigh of relief. However, she would not slack off just because Arthur said so; she immediately offered reassurance.

"Thank you for your understanding, Your Majesty. I assure you, they will all be sold within a year!"

However, Avril seemed to change her expression like a chameleon; after agreeing straightforwardly, she immediately showed a troubled look.

"However, selling them only in Lionheart Kingdom will not be absorbed in a short time.

Therefore, I will sell them in other kingdoms through the guild's channels. Those people won't work for free, and His Majesty might need to concede half a percent of the profit!"

Knowing that half a percent of 7.3 billion was several hundred million gold coins, Arthur couldn't help but frown slightly at the thought of conceding so much.

Avril seemed to have anticipated this, so she quickly added:

"If Your Majesty could have Legendary Elwin become an Honorary Guest Elder of the guild sooner,

with the authority of a Legendary Expert, the guild would not take a cut when I sell these items."

Ultimately, Avril still wanted a Legendary Expert to join the guild, giving it a strong backing.

However, Arthur believed that Avril wouldn't lie to him about the concession.

Because once the Legendary behind him truly joined the guild, everything would become clear.

And Elwin joining the Dawn Merchant Guild as an Honorary Guest Elder, whether sooner or later, had no impact on Arthur.

Since that was the case, Arthur nodded under Avril's expectant gaze.

"In that case, I will take the time today to explain this matter to Legendary Elwin and request him to become an Honorary Guest Elder of the guild.

As for whether it succeeds, I will give you an answer tomorrow!"

As Arthur's subordinate, Elwin would certainly agree to his request.

But to the outside world, Arthur was merely the king designated by The Three Legends, and he couldn't directly agree to things on their behalf.

So, some superficial work still needed to be done; he had to pretend to inquire.

Avril smiled, seeing Arthur's confident demeanor.

"Then I will await Your Majesty's good news!"

The two conversed a few more times, then Avril departed first, planning to visit again tomorrow.

Afterward, Arthur explained the day's events to Elwin and instructed him to prepare to become a Guest Elder of the Dawn Merchant Guild.

Time quickly moved to the next day. Facing Avril, who was visiting again, Arthur now had an additional person by his side: Legendary Expert Elwin.

Avril saw that since Elwin was present, it meant the matter was likely settled!

In a joyful mood, she bowed to the two with a smile.

"Greetings, Legendary Elwin, greetings, King Arthur!"

Looking at Avril who was greeting them, Arthur also smiled:

"Legendary Elwin has agreed to my request!"

Upon hearing this, Avril's smile became even brighter.

Then, Elwin, as the party involved, said:

"You must be Avril. Arthur has already explained the transaction between the two of you to me. I agree to the matter of being a guild Guest Elder!

Whenever you need me to go to the guild to handle the membership, just come to the Royal Palace to find me!"

Avril was initially quite nervous facing a Legendary Expert so closely, but now seeing how approachable Elwin was, her mood couldn't help but relax a little.

"This matter, of course, the sooner the better. However, with Senior Legendary Expert's strength, to join the guild, you must go to the headquarters to register!

Additionally, the Dawn Merchant Guild's headquarters is quite far from Lionheart Kingdom, and the round trip might take several days. Please be prepared, Senior!"

"No problem, I have that much time!"

Thus, both parties happily reached a cooperation. Due to Avril's urgency,

that very day, Elwin and she left Lionheart Kingdom for the Dawn Merchant Guild headquarters.
