191: Sending Dragon Crystal for Auction

The forbidden curse scroll: Meteor Shower were items Arthur already possessed, while the Dragon Crystals were spoils of war Arthur obtained from previously killing the Water Element Dragon Stanley.

As for why there were two Dragon Crystals, it was because Arthur had used a Replication Opportunity before coming, listing the Dragon Crystal as a new product in the Portable Shop.

Arthur now only had two Replication Opportunities and one Random Summoning Opportunity left!

On the other side, after hearing Arthur's explanation, Avril's beautiful eyes widened suddenly.

If the forbidden curse scroll only slightly shocked Avril, then the two Dragon Crystals utterly stunned her!

This was because forbidden curse scroll were present at the auction held by the Dawn Merchant Guild—they were among the main items.

Dragon Crystals were different. Not only were they more valuable than forbidden curse scroll, but more importantly, two Legendary Dragon Crystals meant that two Dragons had been killed!

Those were Legendary Dragons, beings capable of fighting at least three opponents simultaneously!

Now, two of them had actually been killed by Arthur or the power behind him—what huge news!

But what puzzled Avril was that aside from the Water Element Dragon killed by the Mermaid Kingdom, she hadn't heard any news of other Water Element Dragons being killed in recent years!

One must know that Dragons cannot be killed without reason; otherwise, Dragon Island would certainly come looking for trouble.

Like the previous Water Element Dragon Stanley, he was killed because he wanted to seize territory from others, so Dragon Island had no reason to avenge him.

Therefore, when Avril heard Arthur's explanation, her first reaction wasn't excitement, but a bit of fear. She hesitantly asked:

"King Arthur, is there any issue with the origin of these two Dragon Crystals? If there is, the Dawn Merchant Guild cannot help auction them, or it will bring trouble!"

In truth, this was also because the Dawn Merchant Guild was powerful. If it were an ordinary person, even if you just helped auction a Dragon Crystal...

Even if the origin of that Dragon Crystal was fine, the Dragons would still think you were insulting them and come fight you.

Arthur looked at Avril's worried expression and smiled faintly:

"Don't worry, there is absolutely no problem with these two Dragon Crystals. Given our partnership, how could I possibly harm your Guild?

If there truly is a problem, just give them my name and let them come find trouble with me."

"Alright, I believe you."

Seeing Arthur's confident demeanor, Avril's uneasy heart finally calmed down.

Then came a burst of joy. Since there was no trouble, the Dragon Crystals would bring immense prestige to the Dawn Merchant Guild!

Next, Avril began following procedure, notifying the auction house Appraiser to come over. Once they confirmed the items were fine, the auction could proceed!

In fact, Avril herself could confirm the items were genuine; she was quite capable.

However, since the auction house wasn't entirely under Avril's control, they still had to follow procedure.

Two minutes later, hurried footsteps sounded outside Arthur's VIP Room.

Of course, due to the soundproofing, the people inside the VIP Room were unaware.

Only when the knock on the door sounded did they realize the appraiser had arrived!

After opening the door, Arthur looked intently.

He found that the person who arrived was luxuriously dressed, possessed a steady Aura, and even exuded a sense of imposing authority without anger.

He did not look like an Appraiser.

"Father, why are you here?"

At the same time, Avril's slightly surprised voice gave everyone the answer: this person was Avril's father, Mitchell, the current President of the Dawn Merchant Guild.

"Of course I had to come. Not only is Legend Erwin of the Lionheart Kingdom an Honorary Elder of our Guild, but the Lionheart Kingdom is also an ally of our Guild.

Given all of your statuses, I should personally receive you!

Furthermore, I myself am a Senior Appraiser, and helping King Arthur appraise treasures is within my scope of duties."

Mitchell had long known the news that Arthur and his group were coming to the auction. He originally planned to find time to meet them.

Too many people came today, and he could only meet them one by one. It would be uncertain when it would be Arthur's turn!

However, upon hearing about the items Arthur was selling, Mitchell immediately changed his original plan and headed straight for Arthur's room.

Although Mitchell's direct arrival was somewhat unexpected, it was not unacceptable, and the two parties quickly made acquaintance.

During this brief exchange, the perceptive Mitchell realized a situation that somewhat surprised him.

That was, among the six people, Arthur was actually the leader, not the Legendary Expert Melita.

Secretly noting this strange piece of information, Mitchell said nothing more.

Since the auction was about to begin, the two parties only had a brief chat.

Then, the three Meteor Shower scrolls and the two Dragon Crystals were handed over to Mitchell for appraisal.

Time slowly passed. Mitchell's hands, holding the Dragon Crystals, trembled slightly. He could confirm that the Dragon Crystals were real.

Dragon Crystals, as the convergence point of a Dragon's entire body energy, contained unimaginable power.

Coupled with the Dragon Crystal's ability to self-absorb surrounding energy to recover, it was practically an infinite super energy source.

It could not only be used to refine superb Legendary weapons and armor, but it was also an excellent core item when setting up massive Magic Arrays.

It could be said to have many uses!

However, due to the scarcity and great strength of Dragons, this item was rarely seen on the continent for decades!

Now that two had appeared at once, Mitchell could imagine the immense surge in reputation the Dawn Merchant Guild would receive after auctioning these two Dragon Crystals—it might even resound throughout the continent!

He said excitedly:

"The items are all genuine. As a show of sincerity, our Dawn Merchant Guild will not charge a Commission Fee for these five items!

King Arthur, what do you think!"

The auction Commission Fee is usually around five percent. The five items Arthur provided could fetch at least over a billion Gold Coins.

A five percent commission would be worth over fifty million Gold Coins. Since he would gain that much money freely, Arthur naturally had no objection.

"Then I shall respectfully comply!"

With the deal concluded, the atmosphere between the two parties became more harmonious.

However, there were many distinguished guests today, and Mitchell, as the Guild President, could not stay with Arthur for too long. After chatting for a while, he departed!

"Avril, you must represent the Dawn Merchant Guild and host them well. If they need anything, just ask."

"Yes!"

Mitchell specifically gave instructions before leaving!

After seeing Mitchell off, a special meaning seemed to appear in Avril's eyes as she looked at Arthur.

Whether it was curiosity about Arthur or something else entirely, was unknown.

Another dozen minutes passed. As a pleasant sound echoed from the auction house, and an elderly man with somewhat gray hair walked onto the high platform in the center of the venue...

Everyone knew that the highly anticipated auction had begun!
