177: Chapter 177 Thunder Magic Displays its Divine Power! Lightning Strikes!

The Mad Knight strode forward like a shooting star, murderous aura surging around him, and charged straight toward Chen You.

His teammates behind him hesitated, ultimately stomping their feet in anxiety.

"Isn't that our immortal path pioneer, Big Shot Chen?"

The Mad Knight stopped in front of Chen You, a hypocritical smile plastered on his face.

He deliberately emphasized the words "Big Shot," his tone dripping with undisguised sarcasm.

Chen You dismounted the giant rabbit, not rushing to enter the dungeon.

He stood there, the moyuan star river robe flapping loudly, surrounded by an aura of isolated immortality.

He glanced faintly at the Mad Knight.

That look was calm and ripple-less, as if he were looking at a roadside stone, without any emotional fluctuation.

The Mad Knight's smile froze on his face.

That gaze made him extremely uncomfortable.

It was as if all his mockery and provocation were equivalent to a dog barking by the roadside.

"What? Is Big Shot Chen here at the Ten Thousand Fox Cave to look for romance?"

The Mad Knight continued to provoke, attempting to enrage Chen You.

"I heard there are quite a few fox spirits in this cave, perfectly suited for a romantic figure like you."

The surrounding players held their breath, not daring to exhale.

They knew the Mad Knight was an elite from the Roman God Clan, and a lunatic at that—the type to start fighting at the slightest disagreement!

Not worth offending, not worth offending.

Chen You's brow twitched almost imperceptibly.

It wasn't that he couldn't understand the Mad Knight's passive-aggressive barbs.

It was just that, at this moment, he truly had no interest in wasting time with a mere clown.

"You talk too much."

Chen You's voice was light, yet carried an air of inherent superiority.

The sound pierced the cold gloom of the canyon and landed directly in the Mad Knight's ears, causing an inexplicable tremor in his heart.

"I just wanted to remind Big Shot Chen that this Ten Thousand Fox Cave is not your backyard. The fox demons inside are masters of illusionary arts."

"In case you can't distinguish reality from illusion and something goes wrong inside... that wouldn't be fun."

He paused, a hint of schadenfreude in his tone.

"After all, you are only level 20. The recommended level for the Ten Thousand Fox Cave is 25."

"Moreover... this place isn't somewhere money can guarantee passage. Some things cannot be bought with gold coins either."

The Mad Knight feigned composure, believing he had found Chen You's weakness.

He was convinced that everything Chen You displayed was merely because he was rich.

His actual strength might not even surpass his own.

Chen You remained expressionless.

He glanced at the Mad Knight's arrogant face and felt a wave of speechlessness.

"Brother, after messing around for so long, you still don't know how to mock someone?" Chen You thought.

Even a dog would shake its head!

Chen You did not reply.

He merely swept his gaze over the Mad Knight one more time, as if scanning a pile of trash.

Then, he withdrew his gaze and walked directly toward the entrance of the Ten Thousand Fox Cave.

"Hey! Chen You! You dare ignore me?" The Mad Knight's face turned ashen; he felt the contempt in Chen You's eyes.

This was even harder for him to accept than being directly insulted.

His teammates saw this and quickly stepped forward to restrain him: "Captain, don't say anything more! He's going in!"

"Let go!" The Mad Knight flung his teammate away, a fierce glint flashing in his eyes.

"Let him go in! I want to see how he crawls out!"

He sneered, surveyed the surroundings, and loudly addressed the onlookers:

"Everyone saw that! This immortal path pioneer acts superior and looks down on everyone!"

"The Ten Thousand Fox Cave isn't something you can smash through with money! The illusionary arts of the fox demons inside can trap people to death in the illusion!"

"When he comes out looking like a wreck, let's see how arrogant he can be!"

The Mad Knight's voice echoed through the canyon. He was certain Chen You would suffer a setback in the Ten Thousand Fox Cave.

This dungeon had a unique mechanism; it couldn't be solved by brute force alone.

The illusions of the fox demons were impossible to defend against. Once caught, even the strongest attacks wouldn't hit the true body; they would only be futile.

Furthermore, the later stages involving Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth depended purely on luck; one might spend days and still not pass!

"He will definitely fail!" the Mad Knight thought through gritted teeth.

"When he stumbles out in disgrace, I will humiliate him publicly again!"

At that time, Chen You would surely be agitated and unable to control himself from retaliating.

The thought of that scene slightly calmed the rage in the Mad Knight's heart, replaced by a twisted anticipation.

He decided to wait right at the cave entrance.

He wanted to witness firsthand how Chen You would stumble and fall in the Ten Thousand Fox Cave.

...

Inside the Ten Thousand Fox Cave, a cold wind howled.

As soon as Chen You stepped in, he felt an indescribable 'fragrance' wash over him.

The entrance looked small, but the interior was a world unto itself.

However, black mist permeated the area, reducing visibility significantly.

There was also a faint, seductive melody in his ears, seemingly trying to bewitch the mind.

"This environment really has something to it," Chen You nodded slightly.

It certainly set the mood perfectly.

He didn't rush forward; instead, he first took out a Shielding Talisman.

He didn't want his dungeon run to be live-streamed by some meddlesome person.

The talisman ignited without wind, transforming into an invisible barrier that enveloped him.

Only then did Chen You begin to move.

As far as the eye could see, there were only twisted, strange rocks and withered trees swaying in the cold wind.

Deep within the black mist, faint, graceful figures could be vaguely discerned.

They flickered in and out of sight in the fog, their delicate laughter barely audible yet striking directly at the heart.

"Illusions?" Chen You let out a cold laugh.

They were just a bunch of fox spirits with scorched fur and glowing green eyes.

In front of him, they were simply not worth mentioning.

Snap!

With a snap of his fingers.

Boom—

A bowl-sized bolt of purple lightning roared out from his fingertip like an angry dragon, instantly tearing through the black mist ahead.

The lightning flashed, illuminating the entire cavern.

The figures of the fox demons floating in the black mist were instantly struck by the lightning.

They didn't even have time to let out a scream before turning into wisps of green smoke and dissipating into the air.

"Hmm? There are clones too?"

Chen You's sharp eyes noticed that several of the fox demons struck by lightning only blurred for a moment before solidifying again.

The illusionary arts of these fox demons were indeed extraordinary.

The clones they created were not mere phantoms; they could withstand a certain degree of attack.

For an ordinary player, failing to find the true body would lead to being passively worn down by endless clones.

But for Chen You...

"Clones or not, take them all down!"

With a thought, his spiritual energy surged madly.

"Divine Firmament Heavenly Thunder Orthodox Method!"

"The lightning comes!"

Rumble—

This time, it wasn't just one bolt of lightning.

It was countless bolts!

Purple lightning, like a breach in the Heavenly River, poured down from above Chen You's head.

Every single bolt contained the ultimate Yang energy, which naturally restrained evil spirits.

Within the cavern, cries of misery filled the air.

The fox demons didn't even have a chance to dodge.

Whether they were true bodies or clones, they were completely exposed under this dense net of lightning.

"Crackling!"

The smell of scorching filled the air.

The remnants of the fox demons twisted and dissipated in the lightning.

This wasn't some Ten Thousand Fox Cave; it was clearly the exclusive playground of the Thunder Dharma King!

Chen You continued to stride forward into the depths.

He was like a walking lightning rod, with arcs of lightning constantly exploding around him.

The poor fox demons didn't even know what had happened before they vanished into nothingness.
