294: Chapter 294 My huge RV is useless?

Chen You's gaze narrowed.

A hidden area?

He suddenly turned his head to look out the window.

The originally flat snowfield had disappeared at some point, and the RV was now traveling through an extremely steep glacial canyon.

On both sides were black ice walls towering into the clouds, and the gale echoed within the canyon, letting out shrieks like the wailing of ghosts and howling of wolves.

"Everyone, sit tight!" Mountain Stone Fault's roar came from ahead. "High energy ahead! This old man is taking you to a good place! Drop the beat!"

"Boom!"

The Snowland Behemoth suddenly slammed into and shattered a thick ice wall ahead.

The RV rushed into a strange space.

The sky darkened instantly!

Chen You stood up and walked to the window.

The sight before him made his pupils shrink.

It was a massive city suspended upside down in the sky.

Countless "buildings" emitting a faint blue glow hung upside down from the firmament like stalactites.

A thick black chain tightly connected this upside-down city to the bottomless abyss below.

The air was filled with an extremely dense scent of decay.

[System Notification: You have discovered a hidden map—Abyss of the Fallen Star (Former Site of Cangxing City).]

[Current Area Level: Unknown.]

Chen You looked at the upside-down city and slowly exhaled a breath of turbid air.

It seems it wasn't the title, but the effect of that Star Chart?

Outside the carriage, the three players were still twisting frantically in the wind and snow.

Mountain Stone Fault's RAP was still thunderous.

"Skr—"

Mountain Stone Fault elongated the tone.

The singing and dancing ended.

The werewolf player [Howl Under the Moon] rolled in, wrapped in the swirling snow.

Following closely behind was the skeleton player [Singular Skeletal Structure], whose frame was half-disassembled.

"F-freezing me to death!" The werewolf lay on the mahogany floor, shivering while struggling to crawl toward the hotpot table.

The skeleton was even worse off.

He held his right femur in his left hand and his skull in his right, clicking and clacking as he pieced his body back together.

"This wind... this snow... this is so damn realistic! My kneecaps were blown away!"

The goblin [I Love Forgiveness] quickly handed over a bowl of steaming red oil mutton soup.

The ghost player floated in mid-air, using his weak ghost fire to try and thaw the werewolf.

The inside of the carriage was in a state of chaos.

Chen You didn't look at these four jokers but stared intently out the window.

"God You..." The goblin followed Chen You's gaze, and the chopsticks in his hand clattered onto the table.

The werewolf suddenly looked up, his wolfish eyes wide and round.

The skeleton's newly attached jaw dropped onto his ribcage again.

"Holy shit!"

Four simultaneous curses rang out inside the carriage.

"Wh-where is this?" The werewolf swallowed hard.

"A new expansion? A hidden map?"

The skeleton was so excited his bones rattled, and the soul fire in his eye sockets flickered wildly.

"I knew it! Following God You definitely leads to big scenes! Just eating hotpot and dancing can trigger a hidden world event!"

"God You, you are my god! Don't stop me, I want to have your babies!"

"You're a skeleton, what kind of babies can you have!" The goblin kicked the skeleton's tibia, then turned to Chen You with a fanatical look.

"God You, what level of dungeon is this? Are we going to go down in history?"

Chen You was expressionless.

Go down in history? I think we're going to die on the spot!

At that very second.

At the top of the central-most inverted tower of Cangxing City, a blindingly bright faint blue light lit up.

A beam of starlight fell straight down.

It was extremely fast.

No sound, no explosion.

The starlight accurately struck the Snowfield Spirit Boat.

Chen You only felt a blur before his eyes.

The luxury carriage, originally made of Purple Cloud Wood and incredibly sturdy and temperature-controlled, turned directly into a translucent phantom the moment it touched the starlight.

The mahogany floor, leather sofa, and brass hotpot all lost their physical texture.

They were still there, maintaining their original shapes, but no longer possessed any physical defense or insulation functions.

The carriage had been "dispelled."

At the same time, as the starlight dissipated, the temperature plummeted again.

The raging, freezing yin wind in the canyon instantly poured into the carriage.

A cold current of minus seventy degrees.

"Holy shit!"

The goblin player [I Love Forgiveness] froze instantly.

A layer of white frost formed on the surface of his green skin at a speed visible to the naked eye.

The boiling red oil soup base on the table, without even a transitional process, turned directly into a solid block of red ice.

The werewolf player [Howl Under the Moon] hadn't recovered yet.

The cold wind swept through.

"Awoo... F-freezing me to death!" The werewolf's limbs were stiff, and his wolf fur stood on end, covered in ice crystals.

The skeleton player [Singular Skeletal Structure] was even worse off.

Cold wind filled the gaps in his bones, and his upper and lower jawbones chattered uncontrollably.

"Clack-clack-clack-clack-clack!"

A series of dense bone-clashing sounds echoed in the wind and snow.

"Wh-what the hell kind of h-hardcore setting is this?"

The skeleton hugged his ribs with both hands, trying to keep warm, but it was useless.

In the driver's seat.

What little remained of Mountain Stone Fault's fanatical state was completely extinguished by this extreme cold.

"Yo! Yo! Check... Achoo!"

The old man let out an earth-shattering sneeze, and the snot he flung out froze into an icicle mid-air.

He shivered and curled into a ball, his hands tightly gripping his shoulders.

"Y-young hero! The c-car is broken!" Mountain Stone Fault's teeth chattered, his voice carrying a sob.

Chen You still stood by the window.

The cold wind swept over him as well.

But with his cultivation at the Qi Refining Eighth Layer, resisting this bit of cold was more than enough.

Chen You looked down at the now-transparent teacup; the tea inside had already turned into ice.

Physical collision is still there, but the properties have disappeared?

Chen You took a deep breath and exhaled a cloud of white mist.

The situation was dire.

He stood up and strode to the door.

"G-God You..." The goblin struggled to move and approached Chen You. "H-how do we clear this dungeon? Should I go scout the way first?"

Chen You glanced at him.

The goblin's health bar was dropping at a rate of 2% per second.

A continuous health-loss debuff brought by the extreme cold environment.

"Scout?" Chen You's voice was calm. "You won't even last three minutes."

The werewolf crawled up and shivered as he leaned closer.

"Th-then what should we do? We can't just wait here to die, right? At this rate of health loss, even medicine won't help us recover."

The skeleton clattered: "How about... we dance some more? Maybe we can reawaken the car's functions?"

Chen You looked at these three jokers, and the corner of his eye twitched.

He turned to look at Mountain Stone Fault.

"Guide," Chen You spoke, "since you could drive the car in, do you know how to get out?"

Mountain Stone Fault huddled in the driver's seat, his face turning blue. "T-this old man doesn't know either!"

"I just rushed in somehow, and this place... this place is very sinister!"

Chen You didn't ask further.

He looked up, gazing at the upside-down Cangxing City above.

A faint blue glow flickered in the darkness.

A black chain hung down from the city, its end pinned exactly onto the glacier not far ahead of them.

That city was like a kite.

"That's the only way." Chen You pointed at the chain.

The players looked in the direction he pointed.

"Climb up?" The werewolf swallowed hard. "With the wind this strong, if we fall halfway, we'll definitely be smashed into meat paste."

"And we're still losing health," the goblin added.
