186: Chapter 186 An Unexpected Helper
Kaname Tosen's zanpakuto released its spiritual pressure, forming a massive ellipsoidal barrier that enveloped himself and Mia.
Within this barrier, except for the one touching the hilt of Suzumushi, everyone's sense of hearing, sight, smell, and spiritual pressure would completely vanish, leaving only the sense of touch; for a moment, Mia became a lamb to the slaughter.
Meanwhile, in Mia's bedroom, Gin also faced the first wave of enemies. A pair of armored hands caught his [Shinso] head-on, while another masked figure snatched Rukia and began to flee outside the division barracks.
Mia had already spread her spiritual sense throughout the 11th Division's barracks; the two groups she was facing today had both officially shown themselves.
Kaname Tosen's zanpakuto showed no mercy to the beauty, carving two deep-to-the-bone gashes into Mia's body. Their length was enough to make anyone's heart ache at the sight; this time, Mia was truly covered in her own blood.
The seven [Fallen Holy Nails] floating behind her head had long been fully charged, ready to blow away the Kaname Tosen opposite her at any moment, but she currently couldn't lock onto her target at all.
Having lost four of her five senses, Mia was still feeling fortunate. Luckily, this was the world of 'Bleach' and she was facing Kaname Tosen's Bankai, rather than [Tenbu Horin]. Though, things weren't much better right now.
Helpless, her right hand reached for the brilliant ruby on her collar. From between her full, snowy breasts, [Soul Blade: One Person] rose, its blade wrapped in the power of lightning and hurricanes. Mia recklessly swung [Musou no Hitotachi], the blade tracing a circular path around her.
The massive barrier shattered instantly, and Kaname Tosen was sent flying out of the combat zone, trailing blood as he crashed through a distant courtyard wall.
As Mia unleashed this move, even Aizen's eyes revealed a look of amazement.
"I am becoming more and more reluctant to kill you. You are the most stunning woman I have ever seen, whether in intellect or combat power. What a pity..." Aizen's praise made Mia sneer.
"Are you about to say that my children have already been taken by bad people? Lieutenant Aizen." A confident smile hung on the corner of Mia's mouth, though paired with her current tragic and pitiable appearance, she looked like she was just putting on a brave face no matter how you looked at it.
Hearing Mia's voice, a hint of doubt appeared in Aizen's eyes. He had calculated almost all of Mia's helpers; where exactly was her current confidence coming from?
...In the back alley of the 11th Division, Gin carried Renji on his back and pulled Rangiku along, chasing the two figures in black who had snatched Rukia. They were definitely Captain-level, Gin confirmed, but his steps remained firm.
In the distance, through the rainy night, two figures wearing Captain's haori blocked the masked men's path. One had silver hair, the other was young and handsome, and both had expressionless faces...
Kisuke Urahara, who was holding Rukia, seemed to be using some secret method that made Rukia cry out loudly.
Yoruichi, beside him, was also a bit annoyed. These were acquaintances—well-known ones at that—and their cover would be blown as soon as they engaged.
"Are you done yet?" Yoruichi's voice was barely audible.
"Just a little bit more." Kisuke Urahara was also breaking into a sweat.
Was the risk of fishing in these troubled waters really this high? He fell into self-doubt.
"Put down the child, and then die!" Byakuya's demand was a bit excessive.
Yoruichi and Kisuke put down Rukia and immediately used Shunpo to flee. Byakuya didn't waste any words either, directly activating his Bankai.
A vast amount of cherry blossoms chased the two figures like a waterfall until they vanished from sight.
Byakuya and Ginrei Kuchiki didn't dare to pursue; after all, there were two small babies and two teenagers in front of them.
Gin stepped forward to thank the two, wanting to take back his sister. But Byakuya did not let go. "According to the agreement, it is now time for Rukia to accompany Hisana. Additionally, I need to take her to the 4th Division for an examination."
Byakuya rarely spoke so much; this was only for the sake of Gin's dedication to protecting his sister-in-law.
"Fine, I will tell Sister Mia..." Gin responded with poise; the Kuchiki Family wouldn't harm their own. In the rain, Gin's grip on Rangiku's hand tightened slightly.
...The battle within the 11th Division barracks continued. Aizen was very confused as to why Mia hadn't been affected by [Kyoka Suigetsu] after fighting him for so long.
Mia, on the other hand, was somewhat delirious due to excessive blood loss. She was seeing double when looking at Aizen now, suspecting she had fallen under his [Kyoka Suigetsu].
Another clash that broke apart as soon as they touched. Mia was defeated and knocked down onto the muddy ground. Blood mixed with mud, staining a large area of the ground red before being quickly washed away by the rain.
She pulled out a medicine bottle from her person, drank it all in one go, regained a bit of strength, and struggled to stand up again.
"I always feel like you still have trump cards you haven't played, but it seems you're also afraid of something. Hard to say? Is there something wrong with your remaining trump cards?" Aizen's smile hung on his lips, at the corners of his eyes, and even on his open hands.
Mia said nothing and dropped the Soul Blade in her hand vertically into the ground.
This action caused Aizen's pupils to shrink. Byakuya Kuchiki's Bankai involved a similar movement. Could this woman also know it? But two identical zanpakuto had never appeared in the Soul Society.
"Don't be nervous, it's just some crude, minor spell, not what you think." After Mia said this, crimson blood overflowed from the corner of her mouth again.
After all, the strength of Aizen, one of the ultimate bosses, wasn't something that could be simply explained with words; only the wounds all over her body could illustrate a fraction of it.
"Are you stalling for time?" Aizen pushed up his glasses. "Fine, let me see if you can become even more exceptional!"
[Thousand People] skill activated! Countless light-blue soul bodies in Mia's likeness emerged from the ground, charging toward Aizen with Tang swords in hand. The tide of the battle reversed.
In this battle, Mia didn't have Ryan's blessing, and her maximum health was still 7,630 points, so the strength of her clones was insufficient. Although they caused Aizen considerable trouble, they couldn't drown him with human wave tactics.
Mia decisively initiated a barrage of [Fallen Holy Nails]. Over seven thousand holy nails nearly blasted a crater into the ground, at the bottom of which stood Sosuke Aizen in tattered clothes.
Although he appeared mostly unharmed, he had also sustained significant damage. At the bottom of the crater, he laughed loudly. "Finally, finally, it's not so lonely anymore, even if you are an opponent! You're not even a hundred years old yet, are you?"
"Including the four years I've spent here, I should be twenty-seven this year. Why? Want to hit on me?" Mia assumed the stance of [Tumulary Flow] and began to gather power.
A hint of madness flickered in Aizen's eyes. He reached out his hand toward Mia. "Join us; you have the qualification."
"I refuse!" Mia, along with her clones, launched another round of [Storm of Pear Blossom Needles] at Aizen. The sound of explosions was deafening.
"Sigh, he's really tough; even that couldn't kill him..." Mia's flexible quip made even Aizen at the bottom of the crater let out a laugh.
"Originally, you weren't the target, and killing you was just a matter of convenience. Now, I've changed my mind..."
