3: Chapter 3 Others' Copies and Bodies (Part 1)

[Fusion in progress... Fusion successful, evolved into Devouring Burrowing Ooze. Each time the skill Infusion is executed ???, individual important parts of the prey can be devoured and absorbed, with a very small probability of strengthening your own attributes and skill levels.]

[Logic error occurred. Due to the excessive difficulty matching of the first newbie dungeon and the occurrence of an irreversible error, you are now being matched into a newbie solo dungeon. Currently retrieved solo dungeons: Goblin Slayer Chapter 1, Diablo III Act 1 Chapter 1, Kaiju No. 8 Chapter 1, Attack on Titan Chapter 1...]

[Match successful!]

[Matched to dungeon background: the world of "Goblin Slayer" without meeting the Goblin Slayer. Dungeon owner: Mia.]

[Teleportation beginning!]

Mia's perspective: "So this is the Adventurer's Guild?"

Inside a clean European-style building—a four-story house with a timber-and-brick structure—Mia stepped into the bustling Adventurer's Guild. It was noisy yet orderly.

"What's the situation with the Manticore over by the Mountain Range?"

"If you want to make more money, you still have to find some ruins or places like that."

"I heard some kind of Demon God appeared over in the capital..."

"If we rush over, we might be able to make a killing."

"If it were a low-level demon, I'd dare to go, but a Demon God is too terrifying."

Waiting in line to register, Mia couldn't help but overhear everyone's discussions. She gave a self-deprecating smile. Approaching twenty-five, she was a top influencer on a major streaming platform. She had been at home doing a livestream, having changed into a nun outfit and dancing for her top donor. With her outstanding dance skills, top-tier figure, and the sweet looks of a pretty girl, she was quite the catch.

Who could have known that the entire neighborhood would suddenly lose power? She went to check the circuit breaker and was then inexplicably transported to this place.

"Am I really a Priest?"

Mia looked down at the heavy burden on her chest, then at the "Stamina: 4" on her attribute panel, and couldn't help but complain in her heart: "With this constitution, I probably can't even run in my own gear..."

[Welcome to the "Goblin Slayer" dungeon, but you're out of luck—you didn't run into that helmeted hunk.]

"Shut up!"

She was now an 18-year-old Priest, yet she retained her influencer vibe—perky butt, wasp waist, exquisite face, and numerical attributes that screamed "I can be insta-killed at any moment."

"Next!" the Guild Administrator shouted.

She walked forward timidly: "I... I want to become an Adventurer."

The administrator looked at her, then at the form: "Are you sure? The Priest class is quite dangerous..."

"I-I'm sure."

"Alright, please fill out this form."

Name: Mia Lv1

Race: Human

Alignment: Lawful Neutral (On the surface)

Status: Healthy

Strength: 4 (5) — You probably can't even swing a wooden sword.

Intelligence: 3 (5) — Your head is probably only filled with fashion outfits.

Agility: 7 (5) — Evasion skills practiced from dancing; barely usable when running for your life.

Stamina: 4 (5) — You'll definitely die after two hits.

Charisma: 8 (5) — At least you can still rely on your face to make a living.

HP: 100 (Healthy)

MP: 30 (You call this a Priest? You can probably only heal once per battle?)

Class Skill: Herbalism. Can use the Herbalism skill to identify the medicinal value of plants. (Taste it first when you see a herb? Who cares if you get poisoned and need saving?)

Class Skill: Piety. Increases focus for Holy spells, making it harder for casting to be interrupted. (Increases Magic Focus)

Class Skill: Healing Spell. Restores 15 HP to the target. Has a certain chance to clear negative statuses like bleeding and stun. (Only 15 HP... that's about the same as feeding a teammate a painkiller.)

Class Skill: Radiance of Holy Light. Illuminates a 5x5 area. Requires chanting for magic channeling. (A 5x5 area, the cheapest magical flashlight.)

Talent Skill: Dancer. Long-term dance and yoga training have made your body's agility and coordination far exceed ordinary people, making it more effective when running for your life.

The process was complete, and she received a small ceramic tag with her name engraved on it.

"If anything should happen, this tag will serve as your identification..."

"Make sure you don't lose it."

It went smoothly. Although she was questioned a bit and her age was doubted, in this dungeon where even long-lived Elves existed, she didn't seem that out of place.

[Ceramic Identification Tag, White Item. It is your proof of identity in this dungeon.] (Perhaps others have other uses for this thing.)

"Safe travels!" the Guild Administrator waved goodbye to Mia.

"Hey! Are you a Priest?"

A young male voice spoke. Mia looked up and saw three young figures, appearing to be a Warrior, a Mage, and someone with a less obvious class.

"Yes, hello. Is there something I can help you with?" Mia responded.

"There's an urgent quest that's really short on hands!"

"Great, do you want to go on an adventure with us? We're missing a Cleric..." the boy with a longsword on his back said spiritedly.

"Beautiful! Please give me this quest," the sword-bearing youth said to the Guild Administrator.

"Is the quest very urgent?" Mia asked.

"Yeah! Exterminating Goblins!"

The three rookie Adventurers surrounded her: "Priestess sister! Let's go fight Goblins together!" "We're super strong!" "I almost solo-killed a Slime last time!"

As Mia looked at this team whose average age didn't exceed the shelf life of instant noodles, a red system warning suddenly popped up:

[Forced Newbie Quest: Goblin Cave Adventure. Danger level: Low. Do you accept? Refusal will result in system erasure!]

[Accept!]

"That's great!" She forced a smile that looked worse than crying at the three youths. "I love... delivering takeout to Goblins..."

"Are you kidding? It's accept or die, why even ask?" Mia complained bitterly in her heart.

[Goblins—the weakest monsters with no distinguishing features other than their large numbers. They have strong night vision and often threaten ordinary humans, raiding villages, kidnapping women, and so on.]

Mia flipped through the Adventurer's Guild's monster encyclopedia, noting the description of Goblins.

"What? Such weak monsters should be safe, right?" Mia thought.

"Those Goblins kidnapped the young girls from the village and stole the winter food. We must subjugate them!" the swordsman boy said.

"You'll come with us, right?" the girl whose class Mia couldn't distinguish yet said to her.

"Understood, if you don't mind having me," Mia replied.

"Four people, please register us."

"You're all Porcelain Rank, right? Maybe other Adventurers will come by in a while. Do you want to wait for someone experienced to join you?" the Guild Administrator lady said.

"Four people should be fine for dealing with Goblins, right? The girls who were taken are waiting to be rescued, we can't delay any longer!"

"That's right!" the mage girl chimed in.

In the corner, the Guild Administrator hesitated to speak further.

The group arrived outside the Goblin cave located in the Monster Forest.

"Um... that, why do we have to be in such a rush? Don't we need to prepare a bit?" Mia asked hesitantly.

"Isn't rushing like this just going to our deaths? These kids' average age isn't even 20, it's terrifying. What kind of disastrous script is this? Luckily it's Goblins; even if I don't watch much anime, I feel like there's still hope for survival. As if!!!" Mia grumbled internally.

"You're still saying that?" the mage scoffed.

"Even if we had plenty of time, we don't have much money to buy equipment. And as long as you're here, even if we get hurt, we can be treated immediately. Though they probably won't be able to scratch me at all, hahahaha!" the swordsman youth said, scratching his head.

The girl whose class was unclear suddenly demonstrated a set of leg techniques that looked very reliable. It seemed she was undoubtedly a Martial Artist.

"Even if this idiot misses his swing, I'll punch the enemies away! Please don't worry so much," the Martial Artist girl said to Mia with full confidence.

"And we have a female mage from the Capital's Witch Academy in our party. Just rest assured, there's absolutely no problem taking this kind of quest," the swordsman youth added.

"Really?" The more Mia heard, the less reassured she felt. She suddenly felt her clothes were a bit tight and adjusted them, feeling that this was not a good omen.

The group, chatting and laughing, held torches and began walking into the Goblin nest.

The three of them, casually discussing tactics, led Mia to the first fork in the cave. A totem like a signpost was planted at the fork, with a monster's skull on it. It looked a bit small, remarkably like a Goblin's skull.
