190: Chapter 190 The overall situation remains unchanged; minor matters can be handled casually.

Mia returned to her days of cooking for these gluttons and practicing Battojutsu in her spare time.

The day after returning from the 6th Division, Aizen came to her door to express his thanks.

After discussing with Gin Ichimaru, she decided to temporarily yield to Aizen in order to stay away from the harbinger of misfortune.

The part of the Soul King's soul they secretly extracted from Rangiku at night was placed in Mia's crystal vial and handed over to Aizen.

But the guy still wouldn't leave. He drank five pots of tea, just grinning, and even mooched lunch and dinner from Mia.

Tuaner was about to grab a rice ladle to chase him out. Kenpachi also started sharpening his sword over there.

To protect the newly renovated squad barracks, Mia gave Aizen a bit of the modified healing potion and vitality potion. She also warned him to use it regularly and in measured doses, or the consequences would be severe.

After all, Aizen was Aizen. Even after leaving the 11th Division, he tirelessly continued his experiments. Disappearances in Rukongai and among active Shinigami still occurred systematically.

Captain Kensei Muguruma went with Hiyori to investigate, but ended up causing the entire Visored to be defeated by Kaname Tosen...

Gin Ichimaru graduated from the Shinō Academy of Spiritual Arts in one year and took up a post in the 5th Division. He intended to keep a close watch on Aizen, to prevent him from harming those close to him at the very least.

The child was grown, and Mia couldn't control him anymore. After sending Rangiku to school as well, Mia picked up a spiky-haired, white-haired boy from the first district of West Rukongai, 'Junrin'an'.

The reason for bringing him back was fear that his spiritual pressure was too cold and might freeze his grandmother to death. Of course, it was mainly because the old lady's pickled vegetables suited Tuaner's taste.

Toshiro Hitsugaya didn't freeload at Mia's place for nothing. He took the initiative to take on the task of looking after Renji (though he seemed even younger), so afterwards, what Renji feared wasn't chili peppers, but sudden, extreme freezing...

Mia suddenly found herself with a lot of free time. Every day, holding the plum wine frozen by Toshiro, she sat on the [engawa], watching Ikkaku and Yumichika wrestle, and watching Toshiro, Renji, and Rukia vigorously swing wooden swords in the training ground.

...Yesterday, she had held a promotion banquet for Sajin Komamura and stayed up a bit late. Mia lazily sunbathed on the [engawa] outside the door.

Because her [fallen angel set] was somewhat (too) revealing, the members of the 11th Division not only had to endure beatings from their captain and seated officers daily but also fight against their own lustful desires, suffering immensely.

So, Mia had Tuaner help her sew a set of black kimono robes to wear over it.

She didn't know if the clothes had the rumored functions, but Mia certainly used them that way.

The hem of the robe spread directly on the wooden steps. Lying there, her dark hair entangled with the succubus horns on her head, the black-stockinged beauty slept soundly.

"Still sleeping?! A summons has arrived!!" Tuaner pounced on Mia indignantly, groping her all over.

She did all the mischief possible in broad daylight, only letting Mia go when they were both parched.

"What summons?" Mia's eyes were seductively drowsy from Tuaner's torment. Thankfully, the little ones had gone back for their afternoon nap.

"The Visored were completely wiped out. With the help of Kisuke Urahara, Yoruichi, and the Great Kido Chief, they fled to the living world..." Tuaner sounded somewhat detached and even a little gleeful.

"So? Urahara isn't wanted, and Yoruichi just retired." Mia rubbed her eyes with their natural pink eyeshadow, looking half-asleep.

"So, Old Man Yamamoto wrote asking which division captain you'd like to be, yeah right!!" Tuaner was being mischievous again.

"So, they want to purge the outskirts of Hueco Mundo again. The more unstable things are, the more they need to maintain external deterrence..." Tuaner imitated Captain-Commander Yamamoto's tone.

"Not going. The 4th Division has more than one vice-captain." Mia turned over and continued lounging lazily on the wooden boards of the [engawa].

Mia lay under the eaves of the 11th Division barracks, continuing to bask lazily in the sun. In the distance came the sound of Toshiro freezing persimmons with his ice attribute, Renji was chasing Rukia while swinging a bamboo sword, and Gin was secretly sprinkling chili powder into Ikkaku's lunchbox...

Everything was as usual, leisurely to the point of luxury.

Until that old man stepped into her courtyard.

—Captain-Commander, Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto.

His presence caused the air temperature to spike suddenly; the edges of the wooden boards even began to feel slightly hot. Mia squinted her eyes, didn't get up, and just lightly patted the spot beside her:

"Captain-Commander, care for some plum wine? Toshiro just froze it. Quite refreshing."

Yamamoto snorted heavily: "What impropriety!"

Mia smiled lazily: "Are you referring to the wine? Or—" She pointed at the children playing in the distance, "them?"

Kenpachi jumped down from a nearby large tree, grinning: "Hey, old man, wanna fight?"

Yamamoto glanced at him, thumped his cane heavily on the ground. Flames swirled out of thin air but stopped just short—a warning, not killing intent.

Only then did Mia slowly sit up straight, gathering her disheveled kimono and tucking her black-stockinged legs together: "Alright, Captain-Commander, I know why you're here—but the Visored matter has nothing to do with me."

Yamamoto's brow furrowed deeper: "What are you implying?"

"Implying? No." Mia finally stood up, her gaze meeting Yamamoto's eyes directly.

"They all think your sight is failing, but I never thought so. But aren't you being a bit overconfident? That one is a genius not seen in a thousand years!"

"It's not worth it, the chaos he stirs up in Soul Society..." Yamamoto seemed to be speaking to himself.

"Fine, then just let it be. After all, most of those scheming below graduated from the Shinō Academy of Spiritual Arts."

"Strictly speaking, they are all your disciples."

Mia began to show her willful side, too lazy to explain to Captain-Commander Yamamoto just how much harm this matter could cause.

"Your answer is unsatisfactory. Report to the Shinō Academy of Spiritual Arts tomorrow! Special permission for you to commute! Go to the 4th Division after school!"

Captain Yamamoto slowly walked out of the 11th Division gate with his cane, leaving Mia with an unrefusable outcome.

"What the...? So... I just became Gin-ko's junior?!" Mia suddenly felt a surge of irritation. She downed the chilled plum wine in her hand in one gulp, then heaved a heavy sigh. "But... what about those three..."

Evening, 11th Division training ground. All members of the 11th Division assembled.

"Two announcements. First, breakfast is earlier, dinner is later! Lunch is on your own!"

Mia announced to these men who called her 'big sis' using her homemade megaphone.

A chorus of wails rose from the training ground; some even prostrated themselves, crying. Losing one meal out of three meant losing half the joy in their lives.

"I have to take these three little ones to school. The Shinō Academy of Spiritual Arts—some of you have attended. The Captain-Commander's orders, can't refuse..."

The ground fell silent instantly, except for Kenpachi Zaraki's displeased "Hmph!"...
