120: Chapter 120 Prohibition of Leaving the Country

Inside the Wuhu Special Ability Shop, A-Zu leaned against the counter, a trace of blood still hanging from the corner of his mouth. He stared at the one-eyed black man on the screen, the red light in his eyes flickering slightly.

"Ah! Damned humans!" He suddenly sliced the entire counter in half with his lasers.

No matter how much A-Zu raged in his impotence, the voice on the screen continued.

The tone suddenly switched from sarcasm to a cold, official announcement: "Do you think this is over? Mr. A-Zu, given your action of destroying the White House, it is equivalent to a formal declaration of war against all of humanity."

"We, the Human Renaissance Alliance, hereby formally notify you: from this moment on, you are forbidden from leaving the country."

A map popped up on the screen, with the borders of New York City circled in a highlighted red loop.

"We still have a hundred nuclear bombs identical to the one just now, all deployed on mobile launch platforms that you cannot detect."

"As long as you leave the New York City area, we will conduct a saturated nuclear strike against you."

"Rest assured, based on your situation, we have calculated that you will have zero probability of survival under our attack."

"If you think we are bluffing, you can try right now. You've already taken one, so you should know better than anyone whether we are lying."

His voice turned even colder: "Furthermore, after you die, we will not let a single one of those people you brought with you go."

"However, we won't make them slaves, nor will we have them collect taxes for us."

"We will only place their bodies on our human dissection tables and take them apart piece by piece. Their organs, genes, and the sources of their special abilities will be written into papers and published in open journals for all of humanity to download for free."

"Their corpses will contribute to the advancement of human technology. This is what true exchange between civilizations looks like, wouldn't you agree, Mr. A-Zu?"

The voice of the virtual image on the screen suddenly became heavy: "And to the people living near New York, we apologize in advance."

"If Mr. A-Zu chooses to force his way out, you may be caught in the crossfire. But you don't need to protest or march, because we are terrorists."

"We do not abide by the Geneva Convention, we are not under the jurisdiction of the United States government, and we don't care how you curse us. The only thing we care about is making that alien—who destroyed the White House today, slaughtered one hundred and thirty-seven of our compatriots, and insulted all of humanity as an inferior race—pay the price."

Nick Fury in the video stood up: "Finally, I want to borrow a quote from that brave high school girl, Mary Rodriguez."

"Mr. A-Zu, please apologize for your previous behavior of insulting humanity."

The image froze on his face, and in the next moment, all screens returned to normal simultaneously.

Watching the one-eyed black man disappear from the screen, A-Zu's right hand suddenly pressed against his chest. A rusty, metallic sweetness welled up in his throat again, and then he turned his head and spat out another mouthful of fresh blood onto the floor in rage.

He leaned his entire body against the counter, the muscles below his right knee twitching uncontrollably.

"Prince!" Kara rushed forward to support his arm.

Karl retracted the flame into his palm, clenched it into a fist, and roared angrily, "Prince, how dare mere humans be so arrogant! They are nothing more than beings who can only rely on external objects."

"Our Planet Wuhu still has three A-rank ability users and nearly a hundred B-rank ability users! Prince, please transfer them all here. I want to see how tough the bones of these inferior races really are! Prince, give the order! We'll fight the humans to the death!"

"Fight them?" Kara turned her head, her antennae vibrating sharply backward. "And then let all three A-ranks take nuclear hits? Didn't you see that mushroom cloud over the Pacific Ocean in the video just now?"

"A single nuclear bomb injured the Prince like this. Tell me, can three A-ranks withstand a hundred? If you bring all the B-ranks from Planet Wuhu here, the humans will just dare to double the number of nuclear bombs."

"Do you want to push our civilization into the abyss of destruction?"

She shifted her gaze from Karl's face to A-Zu and advised earnestly, "Prince, the priority right now isn't war, but damage control. These Blue Star people are much more troublesome than we anticipated. What we should do most now is reconcile with the Blue Star people as soon as possible."

She lowered her voice: "Or go find Commander Chen Mu and ask him to send a spaceship to take us back to Planet Wuhu."

Before Kara's words could even land, the flame in Karl's palm had already leaped half a foot high. He shouted abruptly, "Go back to Planet Wuhu? We've only descended upon the Blue Star for a few days! To be driven back by a bunch of inferior races? Where would that leave the Prince's dignity?"

"Otherwise, what?" Kara turned around. "Do you want to start an all-out war with the Blue Star civilization and push our civilization into the abyss of destruction before you're satisfied?"

Karl and Kara were arguing incessantly, and both turned to A-Zu at the same time, asking him to say something.

Just as the two were locked in a stalemate, a light cough came from the corner.

Sima Bei stood up from the corner, his left hand behind his back and his right hand snapping open a folding fan.

On the fan's surface, four large characters were written in extremely affected calligraphy: Master of Win-ology.

He waved the fan under the simultaneous gaze of the three: "My Lords, you have clearly won. Why would you leave?"

A-Zu slowly lowered the hand clutching his chest. Karl and Kara stopped their arguing at the same time.

The three asked in unison, "Won?"

"Exactly." Sima Bei snapped his fan shut in front of his chest. The footprint tattoo on his face squeezed upward as the corners of his mouth curled into a smile. "First, the Human Renaissance Alliance said they have a hundred nuclear bombs and will conduct a saturated strike as soon as you leave New York."

"This sounds like a threat, an imprisonment, trapping you in New York. But think about it the other way: why can they only threaten you by 'not letting you leave'? It's because they can't do anything else except trap you in New York."

"Within New York, they have no way of dealing with you. Otherwise, they would have done it already. That one-eyed black man said so many harsh things, about dissecting Lord Karl and sending us all to the experimental table, but why didn't he say a single word like 'we're coming to kill you right now'?"

"Because they can't do it. This is called using tactical initiative to cover up strategic incompetence."

A-Zu completely lowered his hand from his chest and leaned against the counter. He was silent for a moment, then nodded.

Within New York, besides Commander Chen Mu and Danzo's group, there really was no one who could deal with him.

Only then did he formally size up this Blue Star person whom he had deeply looked down upon, feeling that what this Blue Star person said seemed to make sense.

Could it be that I really won?
