200: Chapter 200 Aliens: The creatures on this planet are terrifying, run!

In deep space three light-years away from the Solar System.

A biological mothership, twisted like dead wood and vast enough to block the light of stars, lay dormant in the darkness.

This was the flagship of The Sweepers civilization.

The command hall was filled with thick, viscous green mist.

Supreme Commander Sargus sat on a floating, fleshy throne, his compound eyes gleaming with a cruel light. As a top-tier hunter on the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy, he had seen countless civilizations destroyed in despair and heard countless dying wails.

"Has there been any news from the scout ship 'Tentacle'?"

Sargus emitted a low, hissing drone, his voice spreading throughout the ship via neural connection: "By now, that primitive civilization that just lit its torches should be trembling in fear and begging for mercy on their knees, right?"

"Report, Commander!"

The communications officer below waved its tentacles frantically, though its tone became somewhat peculiar: "The vital signs of 'Tentacle'... have vanished."

"But in the last microsecond before it disappeared, it transmitted an encrypted... first-person video."

"Oh?"

Sargus laughed contemptuously, greedy drool flowing from his mouth that split all the way to his ears: "Is it footage of that civilization struggling in their death throes?"

"Play it."

"Let all the warriors on the ship appreciate it; this is the fate of the weak."

"Yes."

On the massive biological screen, the image began to jitter, then became clear.

However, at the moment the image unfolded, the entire command hall instantly plunged into a deathly, suffocating silence.

There was no war, no smoke of gunpowder. In the image was a colossal "torture device" made of alloy (actually a dining table).

In front of the lens was a group of bipedal carbon-based organisms. They wore no armor, nor did they carry any high-energy weapons.

But their expressions... Sargus swore that in his three thousand years of plundering the universe, he had never seen such terrifying expressions.

It was—greed. A naked, extreme greed aimed at the biological entity itself, known as "appetite."

"What... what kind of weapon is this?" Sargus's voice began to tremble.

In the image, the leading young male (Jiang Chen) held two thin, long wooden sticks (chopsticks) in his hands.

He was facing the camera, which was pointed at a still-twitching limb that had been cut off from 'Tentacle', and revealed a demonic smile.

"This meat looks so chewy." The demon spoke.

Immediately after, he pressed the limb into a bowl of ink-black liquid (soy sauce and wasabi) that emitted a strange odor.

"Sizzle—" The image seemed to tremble.

Then, under the terrified gaze of all the aliens, the demon opened his gaping maw.

"Crunch!" One bite. Just one bite. The limb, which belonged to a high-level biological warship and possessed high-strength biological armor, was bitten off, chewed up, and swallowed whole!

"Mmm... so delicious." The demon licked his lips and looked at the camera with deep eyes, as if staring through the vast distance of space at every crew member on the mothership: "Brothers, don't waste the rest. This stuff is great for nourishment. Take the head for chopped chili, use the body for teppanyaki, and save that ink sac; I'll use it for fried rice tonight."

"Sizzle—" The video cut off. The final image was of countless humans holding knives and forks, their eyes glowing green, rushing toward the wreckage of 'Tentacle' like a tidal wave.

That was not war. That was feeding!

"Blech—!!!" Sargus could no longer hold it back. He sprang up from his throne, the nausea and fear originating from the depths of his soul causing all his tentacles to spasm wildly.

"Devils... they are devils!" "They don't follow the martial code! They don't follow the basic laws of physics!" "They... they are actually eating the spaceship?!"

In this universe, wars between civilizations usually involve destruction, enslavement, or resource plundering. But never has any civilization treated their enemies like sashimi! What kind of brutal race is this? What kind of terrifying digestive system is this? If they can digest the armor of a biological warship, then if our army marches over... wouldn't that be equivalent to delivering takeout to them?! A buffet delivered to their door?!

"Quick! Retreat!" Sargus let out a heart-wrenching scream, his voice filled with the ultimate fear of "being eaten": "All fleets, listen up! Turn around immediately! Warp at full speed! Stay away from that damn Solar System! Stay away from that blue planet! List those coordinates as a universe-class restricted zone! Mark it as—[Lair of the Gluttons]! If anyone dares to get close, don't blame me if you get eaten! Run!!!"

Boom! The massive alien fleet, not even daring to make a probing attack, burned their core energy directly. Like mice that had seen a cat, they slunk into a wormhole and disappeared without a trace in the blink of an eye.

An interstellar invasion crisis capable of destroying Earth. Just like that. It was "scared" away by a group of foodies from the Dragon Kingdom holding chopsticks.

...

Earth, Moon Base restaurant.

"Achoo!" Jiang Chen sneezed and rubbed his nose.

"Strange, who is badmouthing me?" He shook his head, picked up a piece of crystal-clear "octopus sashimi" dipped in sauce, and put it into his mouth.

"Hmm... the texture is not bad, a bit like Arctic surf clam, but crunchier." Jiang Chen swallowed with a satisfied look and picked up another piece for Hill, who was already drooling beside him: "Come, daughter, eat more. This is an all-natural, pollution-free alien specialty, rich in high protein, good for the brain."

"Thank you, Dad!" Hill gobbled it up in one bite, her eyes squinting into slits with happiness.

Across the dining table, Academician Chen Shuyin pushed up her glasses and looked at the plate of "aliens" sliced as thin as a cicada's wing. Although her reason told her this was a hybrid biological tissue of silicon-based and carbon-based life, but... the fresh aroma of the wasabi was indeed very intoxicating.

"Jiang Chen." Academician Chen Shuyin put down her chopsticks and looked at the starry sky outside the window, which had returned to calm but seemed exceptionally empty: "Radar shows that the signal source... has disappeared. It fled very quickly, as if it were being chased by a ghost."

"They're lucky they ran fast." Jiang Chen snorted, picked up his wine glass, and took a sip of aged wine from the Wasteland: "If they had run a minute later, I would have had Old Zhao set up the barbecue grill."

"However..." He put down the wine glass, the playful expression on his face gradually fading. He stood up and walked to the huge floor-to-ceiling window. Beneath his feet was the barren Wasteland of the Moon; above his head was the endless deep space. That starry sky was still brilliant, still mysterious. But in Jiang Chen's eyes, it was no longer scenery. It was a hunting ground. It was also a new world—that was about to be conquered by him.

"Old Chen, Wanqiu." Jiang Chen's voice was low and powerful, revealing an unprecedented ambition: "Although this first wave of takeout has been delivered, we can't just wait for them to deliver. Earth is too small; we can't spread out here. Since the trade route is open, the defensive towers at home are built, and the aliens have been scared by our eating, then next..."

He turned around abruptly, looking at his core team with burning eyes, a haughty smile curling at the corner of his mouth: "Shouldn't we take the initiative? Go and see how many delicious things, fun things, and... useful 'minerals' there are in that sea of stars?"

"In the fourth volume, we're not messing around." Jiang Chen snapped his fingers, and a holographic star map instantly unfolded, with countless unknown coordinates lighting up: "We are going to—colonize the universe!"
