233: Chapter 234 revealed the truth: he's an alien prince?

The bridge of the luan niao starship was terrifyingly quiet at this moment.

Only the control panels on the edge of the command console flickered with a ghostly blue light.

Caesar stood in the center, his magnificent purple formal wear looking somewhat ridiculous now, because his legs were trembling uncontrollably, as if he were performing some strange tap dance.

His eyes, capable of seeing through stardust, were filled with fear at this moment.

This was his first time setting foot on a human starship.

But at this moment, he felt as if he had walked into the belly of a prehistoric beast that was just waking up.

Surrounding him were not ornately decorated metal plates, but various weapon terminals emitting terrifying kinetic energy.

Jiang Chen sat in the captain's seat, his fingertips tapping lightly on the table, the sound like a dull knife scraping across metal.

"Caesar, right?"

"Royalty from the Alpha Centauri System, and I hear you're the heir to the throne of this generation?"

Jiang Chen didn't give the other party any chance to catch his breath, directly throwing the intelligence report that had just been analyzed in front of the boy like garbage.

"Quite the status you have there."

A playful curve tugged at the corner of Jiang Chen's mouth. "It seems my sister's eye for talent isn't bad; she just happened to reel in a big fish."

Caesar's face turned pale, and beads of sweat slid down his temples.

He felt not only shame but a deep, bone-chilling tremor.

Just how terrifying was this "Earth Agent's" intelligence network?

Even his private files from his home system had been dug up entirely?!

"You... you've misunderstood."

Caesar forced himself to calm down, attempting to use his last shred of aristocratic dignity to resist the aura of destruction emanating from Jiang Chen. "My feelings for your sister... Miss Qianqian, are sincere."

"That bouquet of flowers was forged from the remnants of a stellar core."

"It is the most precious token of affection on our planet."

"Heh."

Jiang Chen let out a soft laugh.

He stood up and strode over to Caesar.

That young alien prince, who had been so high and mighty on the Wasteland, instinctively retreated half a step in the face of the killing intent that Jiang Chen exuded, which was almost solid enough to touch, his spine slamming hard against the cold, hard edge of the command console.

"A token of affection?"

Jiang Chen reached out and grabbed the boy by his collar, yanking him right in front of himself.

The sheer power of his genetic evolution made Caesar feel like a rabbit held down by a lion—unable to move, his breathing instantly stalling.

"Do you take me for a fool?"

Jiang Chen's voice was cold, his eyes filled with mockery. "In this dark forest, what are nobles, what is royalty? Aren't they essentially just a bunch of resource harvesters with a little money and a little power?"

"Speak."

Jiang Chen pointed outside the window, toward the darkness of deep space. "You came to Earth this time—are you really here to woo a girl, or are you here to scout out the territory?"

"If you're here to scout, you'd better get back to your system while I'm still in a good mood."

"Otherwise, I'll let you know what it means to be—cleansed by dimensional reduction."

Caesar's lips trembled violently.

He wanted to explain.

But he found that all his words felt so pale and powerless before Jiang Chen's eyes, which seemed to see through everything.

He had indeed come with a certain "investigative" purpose.

If this planet were weak, he would plunder it. If it had value, he would subjugate it.

But who could have guessed that the inhabitants of this planet weren't natives at all, but a monster capable of pulling out an aerospace fleet on a whim!

"I... we..."

The boy finally gave up all resistance.

He was under Jiang Chen's pressure, and his facade of being a "noble" was torn to shreds, and he even shouted with a crying tone:

"As long as... as long as Mr. Jiang spares my life, never mind scouting, I... I am willing to move my whole family here!"

"Our entire galaxy's spirit stone mines—as long as you say the word, I... I will have them all shipped over by tomorrow!"

Jiang Chen raised an eyebrow.

This kid was quite sensible.

"Marriage into the family, understand?"

Jiang Chen patted the boy's cheek, his voice carrying an unquestionable air of dominance. "Since you want to go after my cabbage, then you move yourself and the entire system where this cabbage is located over here."

"From now on, I don't care if you're a prince or a beggar."

"Once you've entered the Jiang family's door, you have to follow my rules."

"I approve of this marriage, but it has to be on my terms."

"Do you hear me clearly?"

The boy's cheek stung from being slapped by that hand smelling of rust, but the pain only made him feel an unprecedented sense of fear and submission.

He lowered his head, his voice hoarse and humble.

"Understood."

"Starting tomorrow, the entire... the entire galaxy will be your territory."

Jiang Chen smiled with satisfaction.

Look.

As long as your methods are tough enough, even an alien prince will obediently sing along to your tune.

This impending shuraba hadn't even erupted before he had completely ended it with his "bandit logic."

"Old Zhao!"

Jiang Chen turned and waved his hand, walking out the door without looking back. "Take this prospective brother-in-law away, wash him up, and lock him up to reflect for three days."

"Once these alien relatives finish moving the spirit stone mines tomorrow, we... we should head to the next stop."

"After all, staying on Earth is getting a bit boring."

He glanced at the starry sky.

Out there, there was a war that belonged to them.

And the terrifying rules regarding interstellar trade that were about to be rewritten.

As for the ensuing mess, let Supervisor Li Guoqiang and his people deal with the bickering.

He yawned, preparing to go back and get some sleep to welcome tomorrow's real event—a universe-wide unboxing live stream.

After all, the thing inside that box was a real treasure, something even the Empress would be afraid of if she saw it.

"Let's go, let's see what's actually in that box."

Jiang Chen muttered, his footsteps disappearing lightly at the end of the corridor.
