448: Chapter 448 Battle Plan Against the Shule Tribe

Zhao Fusu did not mobilize the regional troops of Longxi Commandery; instead, he turned his gaze toward Wuwei Commandery and Zhangye Commandery, ordering the regional troops of these two locations to set out immediately.

Wuwei Commandery was formerly the territory of the Shiyang Tribe; currently serving as the Commandery Governor is none other than Shi Le, the chieftain of the Shiyang Tribe.

As for Zhangye Commandery, it used to be the territory of the Heihe Tribe, and the current Commandery Governor of Zhangye is Hei Di, the leader of the Heihe Tribe.

In this way, by having Wuwei Commandery and Zhangye Commandery dispatch troops, Zhao Fusu was effectively commanding the Shiyang Tribe and the Heihe Tribe to launch a joint operation against the Shule Tribe.

Of course, Great Qin itself would by no means sit idly by.

Zhao Fusu meticulously deployed his forces, sending the Black Dragon Special Forces Brigade, carrying a full five tons of mortar shells, into the conflict.

For this operation, Zhao Fusu discarded conventional tactics and decided to adopt a brand-new method: special operations.

He planned to first rely on the Black Dragon Special Forces Brigade's exceptional combat capabilities to destroy the Shule Tribe's high-level command system in one fell swoop.

Once the Shule Tribe fell into a state of leaderless chaos, a full-scale attack would be launched to secure a decisive victory.

With Zhao Fusu's command, countless messenger pigeons flapped their wings and soared high, racing toward the distance.

Watching the receding silhouettes of the messenger pigeons, Zhao Fusu couldn't help but frown slightly.

In this era, sending messages by pigeon was already the fastest method of information transmission.

However, compared to the Information Age he was familiar with, this speed of transmission was simply too slow.

Zhao Fusu thought to himself that it would be wonderful if he could obtain a radio through a check-in at some point. With a radio, he could rapidly transmit information across thousands of miles with just a few simple operations—how convenient that would be.

But then he reconsidered; for a radio to function normally, electricity was an indispensable requirement.

Currently, there were no power grid facilities anywhere around. Even if he did obtain a radio, it would be nothing more than an unusable decoration.

Thinking of this, Zhao Fusu shook his head helplessly; it seemed that all development would still require time.

In the Hexi Corridor, Xiao Zhuang gathered Shi Le, the leader of the Shiyang Tribe, and Hei Di, the leader of the Heihe Tribe.

He looked at the two of them with a solemn expression and said, "Gentlemen, you have both been looking forward to the power of the mortars with great anticipation, haven't you? Now, the opportunity is right before your eyes."

"The Shule Tribe has been incredibly audacious, daring to besiege our Great Qin Merchant Caravan. For this, His Majesty the Head of State is incensed."

Saying this, Xiao Zhuang respectfully cupped his fists toward the direction of Longxi to show his deep respect for Zhao Fusu.

"His Majesty the Head of State has specifically ordered you to dispatch troops to work hand-in-hand with our Black Dragon Special Forces Brigade to deal with the Shule Tribe."

"His Majesty the Head of State has provided our Black Dragon Special Forces Brigade with a large quantity of mortar shells for this mission."

"Our Black Dragon Special Forces Brigade will utilize our superior infiltration capabilities to sneak into the Shule Tribe's territory, locate their headquarters, and then use the mortars to completely destroy it."

"At that time, the Shule Tribe will surely be leaderless and fall into chaos. Your Shiyang Tribe and Heihe Tribe can then take advantage of this golden opportunity to launch a large-scale offensive," Xiao Zhuang explained, quickly outlining the detailed operational plan in concise terms.

"Understood!"

Shi Le and Hei Di cupped their fists together, responding with thunderous voices.

As soon as they finished speaking, both of their eyes instantly lit up with a light full of uncontrollable excitement and anticipation.

Shi Le spoke first, his tone carrying a hint of urgency: "Um... can I go along with you?"

"I am quite familiar with the Shule Tribe's territory and can serve as a guide."

Hei Di also hurried to chime in: "Yes, yes! I'm also very familiar with the terrain in that area. I can also serve as a guide to lead the way!"

Looking at them, it was clear they were afraid of missing the chance to witness the mortars showing their great power in actual combat with their own eyes.
