554: Chapter 554 Rajesh Singh Delosia's Disdain

"What are they doing?"

Governor Rajesh Singh Delrosia stood on the city wall, his brow furrowed in confusion as his gaze remained fixed on Xiang Yu, who was charging toward them like the wind with ten men.

It wasn't that he didn't have a suspicion; it was just that he felt his guess was far too absurd, which was why he questioned the aide standing behind him.

"Looking at this formation, it seems these outsiders are leading ten men to launch a charge against us!"

Rajesh Singh Delrosia's aide, Shankara Sharma, widened his eyes, his face filled with disbelief and his tone tinged with surprise and doubt.

He also felt it was too ridiculous, but as it was all happening right before his eyes, he was forced to believe it.

"Shankara Sharma, are you joking with me!"

Governor Rajesh Singh Delrosia sneered, his eyes full of disdain. "Did you see clearly? There are only eleven of them in total, and you're telling me they're going to charge us!"

"What you said is truly hilarious!"

He tilted his head back slightly, his laughter echoing across the city wall as if he had heard the most absurd joke in the world.

"Yeah, exactly!"

The surrounding soldiers couldn't help but laugh out loud after hearing this. "How is that possible? Are they looking for death?"

"Right?"

Governor Rajesh Singh Delrosia said mockingly, "If they are that stupid and brainless, I'm afraid they'll be shot dead by our archers before they even reach us!"

His gaze revealed his contempt for these eleven people, as if Xiang Yu and his group were nothing more than overconfident ants.

"Governor, you are right."

Shankara Sharma hurried to agree, "I also think they're here to die!" The corners of his mouth curled into a mocking smile, as if he could already foresee the tragic end of these eleven people.

"Heh!"

Governor Rajesh Singh Delrosia sneered, "Since they want to die, I'll grant their wish."

He waved his hand sharply, a flash of ruthlessness in his eyes, and shouted, "Archers, hear my command! Aim at them and pin them all to the ground!"

"Yes!"

Hundreds of archers on the city wall responded in unison, their voices booming like a great bell and making the wall tremble slightly.

These archers were all extremely robust, standing like rows of massive doors.

They were all over 1.9 meters tall and weighed more than three hundred pounds.

They were Caucasians, but having lived in the Subcontinent for a long time, the scorching sun and intense UV rays had tanned their skin quite dark.

Their frames were strong, and the knotted muscles on their bodies looked as if they were cast from molten iron, hard as steel.

Their arms were incredibly thick, thicker than most women's thighs, and looked full of power.

Their nostrils were as large as a bull's, big enough to easily fit a thumb inside. Their eyes were like copper bells, wide and bulging, radiating a chilling deterrent force.

These archers were carefully selected from among many soldiers, and their physiques far exceeded those of ordinary people.

Only such a robust build could pull back those stiff bows that required immense strength to operate.

They held their man-high Shoulder-pole Bows and began to draw their arrows.

Meanwhile, Xiang Yu and the others continued to charge toward the city wall without any fear.
