573: Chapter 573 The city gates have been opened!

Rajesh Singh Delrosia took a fierce sword strike from Xiang Yu; blood spurted from his neck like a fountain, staining his clothes red.

However, shockingly, he did not collapse immediately before his death.

His figure swayed, yet he forced his body to remain upright and slowly began to step into a dance.

Though the light was gradually fading from his eyes, his obsession with dance burned like a flame.

His feet moved as if beyond his control, mechanical yet carrying a certain rhythm.

His arms moved in tandem; though his movements were not as vigorous and powerful as usual, they still possessed a unique, poignant beauty.

Every movement seemed to exhaust his entire body's strength, and every spin was accompanied by the splattering of blood, tracing arcs in the air.

Xiang Yu's eyes widened, filled with disbelief.

He had thought Rajesh Singh Delrosia would fall dead instantly from the sword wound, but the scene before him shocked him greatly.

He watched Rajesh Singh Delrosia continue to dance on the brink of death, and a complex array of emotions couldn't help but well up in his heart.

"Could it be that the people here have a love for dance so deep in their bones that even when they are about to die, they must perform a piece before they are willing to truly close their eyes?"

Xiang Yu murmured to himself.

He stood quietly to the side, not disturbing Rajesh Singh Delrosia, allowing him to use his final sparks of life to dance in his last moments.

Rajesh Singh Delrosia's dance became increasingly erratic and his steps grew more unsteady, yet he still did not stop.

His lips trembled slightly.

Finally, with one last trembling spin, his body could no longer hold out and he crashed to the ground.

Looking at Rajesh Singh Delrosia's fallen body, Xiang Yu hesitated no longer and turned to open the gates of Delrosia City.

"The city gates have been opened!"

The group of ten—Yu Ziqi, Long Que, Wang Meng, Huan Chu, Chen Wu, Zhou Yin, Xiang Zhuang, Zhongli Mo, Yang Huan, and Xiang Bo—who had been waiting outside the gates for a long time, placed their shields over their heads upon seeing the gates open.

"Kill!"

They let out a great roar and charged toward the gates of Delrosia City at their fastest speed to support Xiang Yu, whose physical energy was essentially exhausted.

Yu Ziqi took the lead and charged into the city.

He brandished the long blade in his hand, whistling through the air, every hack carrying the weight of a thousand catties.

Facing the surging enemy troops, he showed no fear and shouted, "I'll kill as many as come!"

His figure flickered, and wherever his long blade passed, blood splattered, and enemies fell one after another like wheat being harvested.

An enemy soldier tried to ambush him from the side, but Yu Ziqi seemed to have eyes in the back of his head; he dodged to the side and cut him down with a backhand strike, the movement clean, crisp, and without a trace of hesitation.

Long Que followed closely behind, his long spear like a flood dragon emerging from the sea, thrusting and picking with ferocity.

He roared repeatedly, every attack accurately hitting the enemy's vital points. The long spear seemed to come alive in his hands, weaving freely through the enemy ranks.

A group of enemy soldiers holding patta swords tried to surround Long Que, but he remained calm. He slammed his spear into the ground, used the leverage to leap, flipped in the air to avoid the dense cluster of sword tips, and then landed heavily, sweeping his spear around to knock down a swath of nearby enemies.

Wang Meng and Huan Chu fought side by side, their great axes flying up and down; wherever they went, the enemy's shields and armor were easily split open as if they were made of paper.
