3: Fighting together

Bystander A (White): As ordinary as Bystander A, it's easier to hide oneself in a crowd.

Big Eater (White): Eats a lot, and can endure hunger longer.

Speedy Legs (Blue): Your legs are agile, allowing you to run incredibly fast.

Among these three entries, only the blue Speedy Legs is somewhat useful, but its effect is also limited.

The second refresh consumed a second refresh attempt.

Qin Shilei reminded An Qian behind him.

A few seconds later, another muffled banging sound resounded.

Then another zombie head poked through.

A cold light flashed, blood spurted, and another one was killed.

Exploiting a bug to kill monsters, so satisfying!

Before Qin Shilei could finish lamenting, the banging on the door became more and more frequent.

The door also creaked under the impact.

It seemed too many zombies had arrived at once from outside.

"The door crack is blocked by the zombie that just died; the other zombies aren't sticking their heads through there."

An Qian raised the sword in her hand but hesitated to bring it down.

"I'll open the door a little wider; be careful."

Qin Shilei moved the wooden bed back a bit, allowing the door to open a few more centimeters.

Suddenly, three zombies squeezed in at the same time.

An Qian drew her sword, retracted it, and drew it again, cutting down two of the zombies.

However, the third zombie had squeezed its entire body through.

It bared its teeth and lunged at An Qian.

Qin Shilei picked up the unsheathed Seven Star Sword from the floor and forcefully thrust it into the zombie's chest.

Although he knew the zombie's vital point was its head, he knew he had never practiced swordplay and, in his haste, might not hit the zombie's head, so he chose the larger target of the chest and abdomen.

With Qin Shilei's obstruction, An Qian finally recovered and struck again with her sword.

Still, she chopped off the zombie's head with one strike.

"Bang, bang!"

Without Qin Shilei's effort, the door was suddenly half-opened by the zombies.

Four or five zombies surged in at the same time.

"Kill!"

Qin Shilei gripped the sword with both hands and swung it down at the chest and abdomen of the zombie in front of him.

The petite female zombie was split in half with one strike.

He retracted his sword and thrust it straight, impaling another zombie behind it.

However, that zombie still struggled, trying to grab Qin Shilei.

He kicked it, sending it sprawling to the ground.

On the other side, An Qian had just killed two zombies but was also being approached by a third zombie.

Qin Shilei stepped forward, raising his sword and chopping down.

He cleaved off half of the zombie's shoulder with one strike.

An Qian sidestepped the zombie, and with a swift upward slash, she severed half of its neck.

Without finishing off this zombie, she stepped forward again and thrust her sword behind Qin Shilei.

It went straight into the mouth of the zombie that had just gotten up, exiting from the back of its skull.

At this point, Qin Shilei also chopped off the heads of the zombies that hadn't yet died.

"Hoo, hoo!"

Qin Shilei panted heavily.

It took him a while to recover and dig out all the crystals.

"Poor stamina, no understanding of swordsmanship at all."

Qin Shilei's self-assessment.

An Qian's brows were tightly furrowed.

Clearly, she wasn't quite accustomed to the bloody scene in the room.

"Let's switch to another room."

Qin Shilei suggested.

"Mm." An Qian quickly agreed.

She picked up a backpack, casually stuffed two pieces of clothing into it, and then tiptoed out of the dorm with Qin Shilei.
