90: Chapter 91: Tearing Apart Mechs and Swallowing Nuclear Bombs! The Demon Child is Born

Above the East Sea.

Vast waves rolled, and black clouds pressed down on the city.

The joint fleet of Eagle Sauce and Foot Basin Chicken was arrayed, blockading the entire sea area.

In the sky, the Zeus aerial aircraft carrier was like a steel island, hovering beneath the clouds.

Hundreds of Ronin mechs skimmed low over the sea, their beam rifles occasionally taking tentative shots at China's coastal defense line.

"Report, Commander! No response from China! Their cultivator troops have retreated!"

Inside the bridge of the Zeus, the adjutant reported excitedly.

"Hahaha! I knew it!"

The Eagle Sauce commander leaned back in his leather seat, swirling a glass of red wine, his face full of smug arrogance.

"What 'mysterious Eastern power'? In the face of great technology, they are all paper tigers! Pass the order: continue the advance! Push the defense line to their doorstep! I want to make that Jiang Chen crawl out on his knees and beg me!"

"Yes... wait! Sir! Radar has a reaction!"

The radar operator suddenly screamed, his voice cracking.

"There is a high-energy target approaching rapidly! Speed... speed is over Mach 100! Cannot lock on! Is that... is that a missile?!"

"Over Mach 100?!"

The commander's hand shook, spilling red wine all over himself.

"Intercept! Intercept immediately! Activate the laser defense grid!"

However, it was too late.

The red dot was as fast as the Grim Reaper's scythe.

"Hum—!!!"

A hair-raising sound of something breaking the sound barrier came from the sky.

Immediately after, a black-red streak of light tore through the clouds and hovered at the very front of the joint fleet.

Gales howled, and waves rolled.

Under the gaze of everyone, the small figure revealed its true form.

There were no three heads and six arms, nor a green face and fangs.

It was just a little girl wearing a black dress, barefoot.

She held no weapons in her hands, only clutching a dead game controller, looking thoroughly annoyed.

"What... what is this?"

The commander stared at the screen, stunned: "Is China out of people? Sending a little girl to die? Or is this some new biochemical weapon?"

"Hey, you in the tin can."

Xue Youyou's voice wasn't loud, but with the amplification of spiritual energy, it clearly spread across the entire sea, even drowning out the roar of the waves.

She looked up, her heterochromatic eyes locking onto the commander in the bridge from thousands of meters away.

"You're the one who said you'd cut off my milk tea?"

The commander was stumped by this absurd question and instinctively cursed: "FUCK! Fire! Shoot this lunatic down!"

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The mech group, already poised for action, opened fire instantly.

Countless high-energy lasers, electromagnetic shells, and even micro-missiles poured down like a rainstorm onto the small figure hovering in mid-air.

This level of firepower coverage was enough to raze a small island to the ground.

Inside the China command center, everyone's heart was in their throat.

"It's over! Dodge! Quickly, dodge!" Lei Keming shouted anxiously.

However, on the screen, Xue Youyou didn't even move.

She just waved her hand dismissively, as if swatting away a fly.

"Hum—!"

A faint blood-colored light barrier lit up in front of her.

Those lasers capable of melting steel hit the barrier like raindrops on glass, dissipating without even causing a ripple.

The missiles were detonated by an invisible force a hundred meters away.

"Is that it?"

Xue Youyou pursed her lips, her disdain deepening.

"You can't even break my protective blood shield, yet you dare to clamor?"

She extended a finger and lightly tapped at the row of Ronin mechs in the front.

"Shatter."

Her words carried the weight of law.

"Crack! Crack! Crack!"

Those dozen or so mechs, costing tens of billions of dollars and equipped with force field shields, were gripped as if by an invisible giant hand under that single finger.

Shields shattered, armor twisted.

The pilots inside didn't even have time to scream before they and their mechs were crushed into balls of scrap metal and fell into the sea with splashes.

"This... how is this possible?!"

The Eagle Sauce commander's eyes were practically popping out. "That's a force field shield! It can withstand nukes! How could it be pierced by a finger?!"

"Nothing is impossible."

Xue Youyou stepped forward.

She walked in the air as if on flat ground.

With every step, a blood-colored lotus bloomed beneath her feet.

"You toys are too fragile."

She charged into the mech group.

There were no flashy spells, nor earth-shattering explosions.

She was like an irritable child charging into a pile of Lego bricks.

One punch.

A mech's head flew off.

One kick.

A mech was kicked into two pieces.

One mech even tried to slash her with a light sword, but she grabbed the blade (energy form) with her bare hand and shoved it back into the mech's cockpit.

"Boom!"

Art is explosion.

In just one minute.

The densely packed mech group had been carved into a vacuum zone by her.

Countless burning wrecks and parts floated on the sea.

This wasn't a war.

It was a one-sided slaughter.

"Devil! She's a devil!"

The surviving Foot Basin Chicken pilots broke down, wailing and crying as they tried to turn around and flee.

"Run?"

Xue Youyou stopped, looking at the mechs scattering in flight, a cruel smile curling at the corner of her lips.

"You cut off my internet, and now you want to run?"

She slowly extended her hands and made a hugging motion towards the void.

"Descent of the Sea of Blood!"

"Whoosh—"

The originally azure sea turned scarlet in an instant.

It wasn't the seawater changing color, but an endless surge of blood gushing from Xue Youyou's body, instantly covering the sea for a radius of ten miles.

Blood waves rolled, and countless hideous blood hands reached out from beneath the sea, grabbing the ankles of the mechs trying to escape.

"Pull them down!"

"Creeeak—"

Hundreds of mechs, like prey captured by tentacles from the abyss, were dragged into the depths of the sea of blood amidst the desperate roaring of their engines.

Glug, glug.

A few bubbles surfaced, and the sea returned to calm.

Only that giant "Zeus" remained, floating alone in the sky like a giant stripped of its clothes, trembling.

"Now..."

Xue Youyou looked up, her heterochromatic eyes flashing with playful light as she looked at the giant ship above.

"It's your turn, big guy."

"I heard you have a lot of tasty things in your belly? And that thing called a main cannon is quite powerful, right?"

"Can I borrow it to play with?"

The commander slumped in his chair, watching the little girl on the screen smiling sweetly at him, feeling his soul trembling.

He finally understood why the Chinese were so calm.

This isn't a cultivator?

This is clearly a planet-killer battleship in human skin!

"Fi... fire..."

The commander used his last ounce of strength to press the red button.

"Main cannon, fire! We'll take her down with us!!!"

"Zzz— BOOM!!!"

The main cannon port beneath the Zeus gathered world-destroying energy, and a dark blue beam of light several kilometers in diameter, carrying an aura of absolute destruction, slammed towards Xue Youyou.

This strike was enough to pierce the Earth's crust, enough to chill the moon to its core; the energy level was comparable to hundreds of nuclear bombs.

In the China command center, everyone closed their eyes, not daring to watch what would happen next.

However.

One second later.

The expected explosion did not occur.

Jiang Chen opened his eyes, looked at the screen, and smiled.

In the footage.

Xue Youyou didn't dodge.

She just opened her mouth.

That's right, she opened that cherry-red mouth.

Then, she took a sharp breath towards the terrifying beam of light.

"Slurp—"

It was just like slurping noodles.

That beam of light, containing terrifying energy, actually shrank rapidly as it approached her mouth, and was then swallowed by her, gulp by gulp!

"Hiccup—!"

After swallowing the last of the beam, Xue Youyou patted her slightly rounded little belly and let out a burp that carried electrical sparks.

She licked her lips, looking unsatisfied.

"The flavor is a bit bland, it would be better if it had some sugar."

The entire room was petrified.

The commander went mad, drew his gun, and pulled the trigger frantically at the screen: "Monster! She's a monster! God! Have you forsaken us?!"

Xue Youyou obviously couldn't hear his breakdown.

She wiped her mouth, flashed, and appeared directly outside the bridge glass of the Zeus.

She extended a finger and lightly tapped on the half-meter-thick bulletproof glass.

"Knock, knock."

"Hello there."

Xue Youyou looked smilingly at the commander who was already paralyzed with fear inside, transmitting through her divine sense, her voice as sweet as a neighbor's little sister.

"Um, I think this big spaceship of yours is quite fun."

"Can you give it to me? I want to turn it into a display case for my new figurines."

"If you don't give it to me..."

Her smile vanished instantly, her eyes turning cold and bone-chilling.

"Then I'll have no choice but to tear you and the ship apart, sell it as scrap, and exchange it for milk tea money."
