201: Chapter 201 The Far East Purge Ends

Unlike the Aeldari, the Orks had no need for concealment. They hid deep within the Space Hulk Graveyards because there was enough scrap metal and wreckage there for them to endlessly hammer, modify, and wage war.

There were eight hundred and ninety scavenger colonies, ranging in size from hundreds of millions to tens of billions. They fought amongst themselves and recognized no single leader, but when faced with a common threat, the unique Waaagh Energy of the Orks could unify them into a terrifying Green Tide within hours.

But the Human Federation gave them no such chance. With the first volley of the Starfall Cannons, eight hundred and ninety Space Hulk Graveyards were pierced by nine colorless ripples in the same second.

The Orks' boasted regenerative abilities became a cruel irony the moment the local gravitational constant was rewritten. Their cells were forcibly locked when they tried to divide, their wounds were infinitely stretched when they tried to heal, and their Waaagh Energy was diluted into a harmless background hum when it tried to coalesce.

After the second volley, seven hundred of the eight hundred and ninety graveyards were left as nothing but floating green residue.

The two largest of the remaining one hundred and ninety graveyards finally condensed a Waaagh Energy field strong enough to barely offset some of the star god law's suppression. Billions of Orks poured out from every corner of the space hulks, piloting cobbled-together warships, fighters, and even simple welded iron plates, launching a frantic charge toward the Human Federation fleet.

Alpha-01 watched the overwhelming Green Tide, a cold arc appearing at the corner of his mouth as he activated the Neural Annihilator.

The Neural Annihilator was the first generation of Biological Consciousness Erasure Weapons developed by the Human Federation, based on reverse-engineered research into Aidilus Biomass Body pheromone control technology and Aeldari Dream-weaving, combined with the strong interaction force manipulation principles of star god fragmentss.

It didn't kill the Orks; it made them forget how to fight.

An invisible pulse swept through those two graveyards. The moment the pulse touched them, the charging Ork fleets suddenly fell into chaos. Pilots forgot which button was for firing, drivers forgot which pedal was for acceleration, and even the simplest trigger became an incomprehensible piece of alien metal beneath their green fingers.

Once the Waaagh Energy lost the support of their will to fight, it collapsed like a piece of meat with its skeleton removed. All that remained was the cleanup.

Compared to the Aeldari and the Orks, the elimination of the Descendants of Alien Servants was more like filing and organizing.

There were three thousand eight hundred and seventeen hidden colonies scattered across the most remote Agri-worlds, abandoned Mining Moons, and transit stations forgotten by the Empire in the Far East Star Sector. Most had bred for generations and had long forgotten they were descendants of servants, knowing only how to hide in the shadows of human society, surviving like rats.

The Diting Network established complete files for every colony: location, scale, activity patterns, possible food sources, and frequency of contact with local humans.

Then, Purifier units went door-to-door according to the files, one by one. There was no resistance—or rather, those unarmed alien descendants were incapable of resistance. The moment they were discovered, they merely expressed the same plea in different languages and gestures:

"We haven't hurt anyone, we just want to live." The Purifiers' answer was uniform: a single precision bullet carrying a Genocide Code.

The elimination of the sixty unknown alien species was more like a scientific expedition.

Analysis by the adjudicators showed that among these sixty alien species, three were essentially just special wild animals—intelligent, but without forming a civilization. According to the strict definitions of the keystone charter, they did not belong to Non-human Intelligent Life and were therefore not within the scope of elimination.

The remaining fifty-seven species could be divided into three categories:

The first was a Silicon-based Life Form based on mental resonance, which had formed a primitive tribal civilization. Their language was built on resonance with surrounding rocks, so the Diting Network initially misidentified them as geological activity.

The second was a Parasitic Psionic Organism that could briefly reside within a human host and control the host's behavior. They had already infiltrated three remote Agri-worlds, controlling approximately twenty million humans.

The third was a species of Ancient Sleepers whose hibernation pods were scattered throughout the moon system of a gas giant. Scans showed that once awakened, they could instantly consume all the biomass of an entire moon.

For the first type, the Purifiers took six hours.

For the second type, the Purifiers took seventy-two hours—needing to track each parasitized host individually and remove the parasite without harming the host.

For the third type, the Human Federation did not risk waking them. Twelve Annihilator-class ships projected a total of four thousand tons of Stellar Magma—a special explosive that can trigger miniature fusion reactions—onto those sixty-seven moons within seventy-two seconds.

The sixty-seven moons, along with the ancient aliens sleeping upon them, were ignited in the same instant, turning into sixty-seven brief, man-made stars.

Three hours later, that sector of space contained only a uniform cloud of thoroughly sterilized metallic vapor.

"Eighty-ninth day, Operation Pure Land has concluded. The alien elimination operation in the Far East Star Sector is complete." Alpha-01's voice rang out in the Keystone-1 Command hall, as calm as if reporting a routine patrol. "Total eliminated: three billion, forty-eight million, seven hundred and twenty thousand Aeldari Wanderers; four hundred billion, eight hundred and sixty million, and three Orks; six hundred billion, three hundred and eighty-one thousand, one hundred and seventeen Descendants of Alien Servants; forty million and seventy-three unknown aliens (silicon-based tribes); twenty-one million, four hundred and thirty thousand cases of Parasitic Psionic Organisms (elimination of both entities and hosts); and approximately eight million Ancient Sleeper hibernating individuals (estimated)."

"Our losses: three hundred and seventy-one Purifiers killed in action, zero ship losses. All losses are within expected parameters."

"Post-war purification: All cleared areas have completed biological signature erasure and information cleansing. Any human individuals who had contact with aliens have undergone deep memory scans and isolation screening. Among them, 1.73 million were judged to have ideological contamination due to excessive sympathy for the aliens and have been transferred to the Reshaping Crucible for intensive purification."

Han Zhe nodded slowly after hearing the report.

"From today on, there will be no more gray areas in the Far East Star Sector."

"Every inch of land, every planet, and every person there will be completely incorporated into the order of the Human Federation."

He stood up and walked to the star map. On the map, the Far East Star Sector was now completely covered in dark gold, merging with the Segmentum Obscurus, the Former Necron Territories, and the Sea of Order into a vast core domain of the Human Federation.

"But this is only the beginning."

His gaze moved past the Far East Star Sector toward the deeper reaches of the galaxy, toward those vast sectors still under Imperial rule, still eroded by Chaos, and still containing countless gray areas.

"When the flag of the Human Federation covers the entire galaxy, there will no longer be any space for alien races to exist."

"One race, one civilization, one order."

"This is the future of the Human Federation."

Everyone in the Command Center stood up, paying their deepest respects to that calm figure who embodied an endless will.
