207: Chapter 27 Casually Destroying the Spirit Race Ark

As the Human Federation Fleet approached the area marked as the asteroid belt, the Eldar ark, Dance of Pale Light, finally abandoned its disguise.

The ark slowly emerged from the void, like an ancient deity awakening from a dream. Its structure was more exquisite and ancient than Saim-Hann; every inch of its hull was inscribed with runes from ten thousand years ago, and every beam of light contained the intertwining of foresight and destiny.

It did not attempt to flee, nor did it attempt to surrender; it simply waited as its comrade-in-arms, Whispering Forest, emerged simultaneously from another direction.

Two Eldar arks, one on the left and one on the right, like two ancient eyes, stared fixedly at the Human Federation's two silent Sources of order.

From the core of the ark came a psychic whisper—the resonance of countless Soulstones, the collective will of all Eldar Farseers from the past ten thousand years stored within the ark's Infinity Circuit.

The meaning of that whisper was extremely simple: You cannot destroy destiny.

Alpha-1 looked at the two arks, a cold arc appearing at the corner of his mouth.

"Destiny?"

He pressed the communication key: "All Sources of order, activate Causality Eradication Cannons. Targets: Dance of Pale Light and Whispering Forest."

"Fire."

Two colorless ripples shot toward the two directions simultaneously.

The Eldar ark's defense systems activated at full power in an instant; Wraithbone shields, Destiny-weaving Fields, and Warp Reflection Layers—layers upon layers of protection intertwined outside the ark into a visible, shimmering barrier.

But the Causality Eradication Cannon ignores barriers.

It did not hit the ark, but the very reason for the ark's existence.

At that moment, within Dance of Pale Light's Infinity Circuit, the resonance of countless Soulstones was interrupted simultaneously. Those Eldar souls, stored for ten thousand years, lost their connection to the past, their anchoring to the present, and their causality with the future in the same instant.

Their existence was erased from the causal chain.

The ark's structure began to disintegrate, not because it was hit, but because the causality maintaining its existence had been deleted. The runes inscribed for ten thousand years dimmed one by one, the devices for foreseeing destiny failed one by one, and the meticulously woven dreams shattered one by one.

The fate of Whispering Forest was exactly the same.

The two Eldar arks, like two withered leaves swept away by an autumn wind, slowly melted, dissipated, and returned to nothingness in the void.

Before disappearing, a final soul resonance from Dance of Pale Light's Infinity Circuit reached the Human Federation Fleet:

"You... will regret this..."

Alpha-1 expressionlessly closed the communication.

"Regret?"

He turned and looked at the wreckage of the arks being thoroughly purified by the Causality Eradication Cannons.

"The Human Federation never regrets."

"We only calculate."

"Full occupation of Taiping Star Domain confirmed," Alpha-1's voice rang out in Keystone-1 Command. "Total occupied star systems: 3,007,742. Imperial garrisons eliminated: approximately 2.047 trillion. Imperial civilians transferred to the Reshaping Crucible: approximately Ten Dashu."

"Two Eldar arks destroyed. Dance of Pale Light and Whispering Forest confirmed to have their core structures completely destroyed and Infinity Circuits fully purified, with no Soulstones or Eldar relics remaining."

"Our losses: seventy-three ships lost, approximately twenty thousand personnel killed in action. All losses are within expected parameters."

Han Zhe nodded slowly after hearing the report.

"Taiping Star Domain is the Empire's last granary. Without it, Guilliman's Indomitable Crusade will lose its supplies, and the Imperial core territories will fall into famine and chaos."

"With the loss of these two arks, the Eldar's organized presence in the galaxy will be compressed to nearly zero. The remaining wanderers and fallen ones are of no concern."

He stood up and walked to the star map. On the map, the Human Federation's dark-gold territory now covered the entire eastern side of the galaxy and most of the western side, surrounding the Empire's core regions—Segmentum Solar, Ultima Segmentum, and Segmentum Tempestus—on three sides.

"The Empire's doomsday is not far off."

"But not just yet."

He turned to face everyone in the Command Center:

"The occupation of Taiping Star Domain will take at least five years to fully digest. The modification of the Ten Dashu of Imperial civilians will take at least a generation. The aftermath of the Eldar arks' destruction may attract the attention of certain ancient beings—things more ancient than Chaos that existed during the height of the Eldar Empire."

"We must use these five years to accomplish three things:"

"First, fully reinforce the Taiping Star Domain defense line, turning it into a bridgehead for the Human Federation's offensive against the Imperial core."

"Second, accelerate the analysis of Eldar prophecy technology—not for foresight, but for anti-foresight. Let any being attempting to see the Human Federation's future see only what we want them to see."

"Third, prepare for the Final Purification."

"Final Purification?" Alpha-1 repeated.

Han Zhe's gaze fell upon the only point on the star map not yet covered in dark gold, a point radiating golden light: Holy Terra.

"The Empire can exist as a relic of history, as another proof of our legitimate human identity. But the Emperor, that ancient being sitting upon the Golden Throne and feeding on human faith, He cannot exist."

"He is a remnant of the old era. His belief system and our Human Federation's order cannot coexist."

"Before attacking Terra, we must deal with Him first."

He pulled up a top-secret file. The cover of the file featured a figure burning with golden flames—a figure no longer whole, no longer divine, but something distorted by pain, sacrifice, duty, and despair, an existence between god and man.

"Project Codename: Regicide."

"Target: The Emperor."

"Complete preparations within fifty years, and launch the final strike within a hundred."
