167: Ripples in the rain world!

“My Move is called Tear Stain.”

Zhou Ping closed his eyes. After that tear fell onto the sword, he suddenly felt very good.

It was as if a stone pressing on his heart had suddenly been removed.

“This is the first time I’ve used this sword. Although it’s not my strongest Move, it is my most authentic one.”

Zhou Ping himself might not have realized that he was talking a bit much today, but when one is in a good mood, talking more isn't a problem.

“I hope you can withstand this Tear Stain. Good luck!”

No sooner had Zhou Ping finished speaking than he heard a crisp sound of metal cracking amidst the sea breeze.

Crack!

The cracks on the sword spread out like a spider web.

At the same time, the space around Song Zhong also developed cracks.

The spatial cracks appeared so strangely, but if you looked closely, the trajectory of the cracks was consistent with the cracks on the sword.

Zhou Ping’s sword did not resemble a sword Move at all, because those cracks did not look like cuts made by a sword’s edge.

Instead, they looked more like tears ripped open by brute force.

The cracks on the longsword, in an inexplicable way, directly tore apart the space around Song Zhong.

Those cracks continued to extend, and in just a few minutes, they would reach Song Zhong’s body.

At that point, Song Zhong’s body would have only one outcome: it would be torn apart along with this space.

Don't you have strong self-healing abilities?

Separated bodies can never touch again. You can’t possibly split into several Song Zhongs, can you?

Zhou Ping held nothing back, because he also wasn’t sure how powerful this sword was.

He simply acted on impulse, unleashing this not-yet-fully-developed sword.

Above the sea, the sunlight remained, but due to the tearing of space, there was some distortion.

It was as if a mischievous child had broken off a piece of chocolate, completely unaffected by any wind or waves.

Not thinking about so many things, just letting out the suppression in his heart, actually felt pretty good.

As for whether he could kill Song Zhong, Zhou Ping no longer cared.

However, he couldn’t quite figure out what method the other party could use to deal with this Move.

The torn space had already surrounded Song Zhong; he had no room to escape that area of space at all.

As long as Song Zhong intended to Move, he would only get closer to those cracks and thus be swallowed by those spatial black holes.

Like a victim trapped in a mudflat, the more one struggles, the deeper one sinks; if one gives up resisting, one might live a little longer.

Through Drinking Poison, Song Zhong had already achieved a Breakthrough to the human ceiling Realm, though he only had ten minutes.

Watching those terrifying spatial cracks get closer and closer, Song Zhong sighed.

Within that sigh, there was infinite sorrow and helplessness.

Zhou Ping naturally noticed this.

Why was he sighing?

Zhou Ping was a little puzzled, but then he shook his head. Never mind, thinking about these things was meaningless. The other party should be finished.

In Zhou Ping’s eyes, Song Zhong made no movement, only sighed, and then stood there in a daze.

“Is he sighing because he sees his own end?” Zhou Ping muttered to himself.

The Tear Stain sword represents sorrow, suppression, and irreparable regret.

These are universal human emotions, so anyone can resonate with this Move, and as long as they resonate with it, they will be affected by it.

Song Zhong, there was no escaping him.

Zhou Ping looked up at the sky. The sky was very high, so high that only gods resided there.

And when could he, himself, slay a god?

The spatial cracks, as dense as a spider web, had already touched Song Zhong.

Under Zhou Ping’s sorrowful gaze, Song Zhong’s body split into countless fragments.

“This is the end!”

Zhou Ping sighed, feeling a strange sense of loss in his heart.

Drip, drop, drip…

Suddenly, the sound of countless raindrops hitting the water came from all directions.

It’s raining?

This was Zhou Ping’s first reaction, but it had just been a beautiful, clear day, so how could it suddenly start raining?

Immediately after, Zhou Ping felt a chill on the back of his hand as a raindrop landed on it.

Just like his own tear had fallen onto the sword.

It really was raining!

Zhou Ping was a little astonished. He felt the raindrops around him, finding it somewhat strange.

Because those raindrops were not falling from top to bottom, but rather falling onto his body from all directions.

Drip, drop!

Zhou Ping had an indescribable feeling; no matter how he tried to dodge, those raindrops would still fall on his head from above, and on his chin from below.

Those raindrops fell from front and back, from left and right, from all directions, as if he possessed a gravitational pull.

Zhou Ping felt a sense of weightlessness, and what he understood even less was that after those raindrops landed on his body, his skin, or rather his flesh, produced ripples.

It looked like a Ripple.

What exactly happened?

Zhou Ping thought for a moment, then bit his hand.

A clear tooth mark was left on the back of his hand, but after a drop of rain landed on his hand, that clear tooth mark actually rippled.

He saw with his own eyes the elliptical tooth mark distort.

An indescribable feeling greatly surprised Zhou Ping.

He felt as if he were a lake, and those raindrops falling on him would create ripples.

Suddenly, he realized something.

Song Zhong!

Zhou Ping had just focused all his attention on himself, completely ignoring Song Zhong.

He looked in Song Zhong’s direction and found that the other party was still in a fragmented state.

However, those fragments were a bit strange; they were sometimes large, sometimes small, sometimes concave, sometimes spreading outwards, and as the raindrops fell, ripples also appeared on those fragments.

Zhou Ping had an illusion that Song Zhong seemed to have transformed into a reflection in the water, converting into a state between solid and ethereal.

He could be certain that this was not some illusion, because the Pure Child’s Glazed Heart could sense that Song Zhong was those fragments, and those fragments were Song Zhong.

“Did you evade the damage of Tear Stain through this transformation between solid and ethereal? What an incredible ability.”

This was the third ability Song Zhong had obtained from Rain Master Pingyi: Rain Realm Ripple.

Zhou Ping’s expression grew serious, “But maintaining this state must consume a lot, right?” He looked at his own body, “And, you also seem to want to transform me into this state. It’s not that I’m looking down on you, but I am at least a human ceiling.”

Zhou Ping looked at the longsword in front of him. The power of Tear Stain was not just about tearing space.

Clang!

A resonant sound of metal shattering exploded in the air, and Zhou Ping’s longsword actually turned into fragments.

Each fragment contained terrifying murderous intent, and their only target was Song Zhong.

But Zhou Ping didn’t notice that the rain seemed to be even denser than before.
