303: Song Zhong and Ji Nian's wonderful journey!
In the mist, a cruise ship sailed quietly on the deep black sea.
Silence surrounded them, giving off an eerie feeling, and from a distance, it looked somewhat like a ghost ship from a movie.
This cruise ship was the headquarters of the Shang Xie Society, and Memorial and Song Zhong were on board.
Hearing that a God had come to visit the Shang Xie Society, its members were very curious about Song Zhong and would secretly observe him whenever they had nothing to do.
Just one day after boarding, various rumors and gossip began to spread within the Shang Xie Society.
These included, but were not limited to, a dramatic romance between a God and a barbaric President, Memorial President secretly finding a new lover behind Ye Fan's back, and even more absurdly, that Memorial President had forced the other party onto the ship by making a baby with them, holding the child as a threat…
These people tirelessly spread these rumors every day, until even Song Zhong couldn't maintain his composure.
He approached Memorial and asked, "I didn't expect the Shang Xie Society to have a tradition of spreading gossip."
Memorial didn't mind, explaining, "In the eyes of those old fogeys in the Night Watcher, we are a bunch of lunatics, a group of anomalies walking in the mist.
If we didn't find some fun normally, I think most members of the Shang Xie Society would become truly insane…"
"So that's how it is," Song Zhong nodded.
Memorial looked at Song Zhong and asked somewhat helplessly, "But what about you, Big Shot? We've been circling outside the Egyptian God Kingdom for three days now. Has your insider still not sorted things out?"
"The time is not yet ripe; it would ruin this excellent dish," Song Zhong said, his hands clasped behind his back, as he gazed at the endless black sea, his profound eyes seemingly contemplating something.
Within the Egyptian God Kingdom, without the disturbance of other Gods, Aisis could finally focus on healing [Shu].
Under Aisis's careful nurturing these past few days, [Shu]'s condition quickly improved.
He could now converse normally with Aisis, and Aisis had discovered a pattern: as long as the topic of Great Xia was avoided, [Shu]'s state remained very stable.
"Shu, how do you feel today?" Aisis asked.
"I feel great! By the way, Aisis, the God Kingdom has been so quiet these days. Where has everyone gone?"
Facing [Shu]'s question, Aisis naturally dared not tell him the truth, otherwise all her efforts during this period would be in vain.
"Well, Sun God has taken them to a very distant place, and they will be back soon."
"Oh, I see!" [Shu] looked at the sky somewhat boredly. He asked, "Are you still taking me to Human Realm to play today?"
These days, to accelerate the healing process, Aisis would take [Shu] to transform into a Mortal and experience life in Human Realm.
Facts proved that this experience was indeed of great help to [Shu]'s condition.
This made Aisis very excited; she felt that she might be able to touch a higher level of the Law of Life.
After annexing Great Xia and expanding the Egyptian God Kingdom, she would have to find a way to snatch some Law fragments from the Gods of Life in other mythological systems.
"Of course," Aisis said with a smile, "This time I will tell you the entrance to Human Realm, so you can go by yourself if you get bored later."
[Shu]'s expression suddenly tensed. "Aisis, you're not trying to give me the tedious chore of patrolling, are you?"
Clearly, [Shu] just wanted to lie flat and not do any work.
However, this reaction made Aisis very happy, because being afraid of trouble was the normal reaction for a creature with a sound mind.
It seemed that [Shu] was not far from full recovery.
"Shu, you are one of Egypt's Nine Pillar Gods, a great existence second only to Sun God. This is your responsibility; you cannot evade it, do you understand?"
"Alright, I'll listen to you," [Shu]'s face showed a hint of helplessness.
"Alright, cheer up, I'll take you to Human Realm now."
With that, Aisis took [Shu] and flew towards the area below Sun City.
Below Sun City lay endless yellow sands, where storms were the eternal theme.
Countless pyramids dotted the desert.
Those pyramids varied in size, densely packed, and from a glance, they resembled large grains of sand.
Aisis pointed to that cluster of pyramids and said, "All these pyramids you see are Transformations of the Divine Artifact, horus eye.
To prevent robbers from the mist from invading again, the location of the Human Realm entrance is constantly changing."
"Oh, I see. Then how do we get in?" [Shu] asked curiously.
"It's simple. Do you see the largest pyramid? Its volume is eternally constant," Aisis said, pointing to a pyramid.
"I understand!" [Shu] exclaimed excitedly, like a child who had guessed the answer, "So the largest pyramid is the entrance, right?"
Aisis smiled and shook her head, "If it were that simple, wouldn't anyone be able to find it?"
"Ah? Then where is the entrance?"
"Within this pyramid cluster, there is another pyramid whose position changes constantly. Its volume is one sixty-fourth of the largest pyramid, and there is only one such pyramid; that is the entrance to Human Realm."
"So complicated! I have to specially look for it every time," [Shu] sighed helplessly.
"Don't worry, you'll get used to it."
Aisis was also very happy at the moment, so much so that she didn't notice [Shu]'s hands behind his back, quietly snapping his fingers.
...
On the cruise ship in the mist, Memorial, who was chatting with Song Zhong, suddenly saw a sinister smile appear on his face.
This gave Memorial goosebumps.
"Big Shot, what's wrong? You're smiling so wickedly, I love it!"
Song Zhong let out a long breath and said, "The time is ripe; it's time to serve the dish. How about it, are you interested in going to Sun City with me?"
When Memorial heard the words "Sun City," her eyes immediately lit up, like a hungry wolf who had been starving for half a month seeing a plump lamb.
"Oh yes, yes, I've been to Human Realm, but I haven't been to Sun City yet. I used to be afraid of getting beaten," Memorial said with a mischievous smile.
"What, you're not afraid now?" Song Zhong asked with a smile.
"Now I have Big Shot! I'm not afraid."
"Good, then hold on tight!"
With that, Song Zhong reached out and grabbed Memorial, who was wearing overalls, and then the two of them transformed into a ball of Fluorescence and disappeared from the deck.
Watching Song Zhong and the President disappear, the members of the Shang Xie Society immediately began to discuss amongst themselves.
"Extra, extra, Song Zhong has taken the President away!"
"It's over, the President is gone. Why don't we vote again and elect a new President…"
The members of the Shang Xie Society continued to find entertainment, while Memorial only felt a moment of dizziness.
When she regained consciousness, she found herself and Song Zhong already standing on a cyan pillar of light.
