471: Who stole the [Mortal God Realm]?

In a panic, Chaos haphazardly reached out his hands to grab the virtual turntable, but no matter how he tried, he couldn't change the fact.

On the turntable, the only golden area was gradually disappearing.

"My Mortal Divine Realm, my Mortal Divine Realm!"

Chaos, enraged, grabbed Michael's neck, then, in a flash, slammed Michael's body against the wall of the ward.

With a thunderous crash, the entire ward trembled from the immense force.

"Michael, you son of a bitch, where did you put the Mortal Divine Realm?" Chaos roared, his slender arm bulging with veins.

"Hehehe... hehehe..."

Facing the furious Chaos, Michael's eyes were vacant, saliva drooling from his mouth. He seemed to have lost the sensation of pain; Chaos's attack just now seemed to have no effect on him.

"Bastard, you're still laughing?"

Chaos's left hand suddenly transformed into a sharp spike, and with a 'thump,' the spike plunged fiercely into Michael's thigh.

"Hehehe... hehehe..."

Blood gushed from Michael's thigh, but Michael's expression remained unchanged, as if he wasn't the one injured at all.

His eyes had almost lost their focus; he just stared at Chaos, giggling foolishly.

Still not appeased, Chaos stabbed Michael dozens of times, each time avoiding vital points. Although he was angry, he truly didn't want to kill Michael just yet.

However, from beginning to end, Michael still acted like he had senile dementia, showing no change.

"Michael, you haven't really turned into an idiot, have you?"

After venting his anger, Chaos took a step back and gradually calmed down.

"Trying to trick me? Whether you're faking it or not, don't forget, I'm a doctor now. I'll cure you."

Threads of Cthulhu Divine Power, like venomous snakes, emerged from Chaos's arm and began to seep into Michael's wound.

Wisps of black smoke rose from the wound, but Michael just sat limply on the ground, staring blankly at the ceiling.

Chaos watched Michael closely. Half an hour had passed, but the progress bar above his head hadn't moved an inch.

"What's going on? Why can't Michael's treatment progress? I've already stolen the authority of this Divine Spirit Mental Hospital, so why can't I treat my patient?"

Unconvinced, Chaos once again increased the input of Cthulhu Divine Power, but no matter how he tried, the progress bar above Michael's head remained motionless.

"Why? Why is this happening? Is my mastery of authority not enough?"

Chaos was now somewhat frantic. From stealthily infiltrating the Mental Hospital of Gods, to ambushing Lin Qi Ye, and then to containing Michael.

It could be said that every step of Chaos's plan was precisely and perfectly executed.

As for the power of the Mortal Divine Realm, he had, of course, set his sights on it long ago.

The effect of the Miracle power was too Heaven-Defying. It was just that Michael, limited by his Realm, couldn't fully unleash the complete power of the Mortal Divine Realm.

Imagine if a master of the Ascended Realm possessed the Mortal Divine Realm; the increase in combat power could only be described as terrifying.

However, such a perfect plan was interrupted.

The most infuriating thing was that Chaos had no idea what had happened, and no idea where he had made a mistake.

Besides Lin Qi Ye and Memorial, only he knew of the existence of this Divine Spirit Mental Hospital. Could it be that Memorial had left some contingency?

Impossible, absolutely impossible. Although Memorial had some troublesome methods, her true Realm was merely the human ceiling. She wasn't qualified to leave a contingency here.

"Damn it, where did it go wrong? Where did it go wrong?"

Chaos paced back and forth in the room, like an ant on a hot pan.

Suddenly, he thought of something: the director's office!

Thinking of this, Chaos immediately rushed out of the room and headed towards the director's office on the second floor.

Arriving at the office door, the impatient Chaos kicked open the door, walked directly to the bookshelf, and began to search.

Before long, Chaos found a black diary covered in dust at the bottom of the bookshelf.

The writing on the cover was somewhat faded, but the words "Director's Log" could still be made out.

This was a key item within the Mental Hospital of Gods, a manifestation of the will of this Divine Spirit Mental Hospital, used to record the health status of every patient.

"This is it, this is it!"

Chaos patted the dust off the notebook and eagerly opened the Director's Log.

The yellowed pages meticulously recorded the condition of each patient.

"Nix, no, Merlin, not him either... Chaos?"

Chaos saw his own name and couldn't help but stop. On the latest page, it was recorded: "Discharged."

Chaos smiled and continued to flip through the log, finally finding Michael's name in the latter half.

[Patient: Michael

Admission Date: Gods' Era, August 27, 666

Treatment Progress: 50%

Condition Record: Michael's Soul suffered permanent trauma. Preliminary estimates indicate his Soul integrity is only 39%. With current methods, recovery is impossible. Observation and treatment recommended.]

Looking at the extremely concise medical record, Chaos fell silent.

Michael's Soul was severely damaged?

His Soul is now only 39% intact?

Where did the other 61% go?

A series of questions appeared in Chaos's mind. He was the only one who had tampered with Michael's mind, right?

When did he become so powerful that he could dismantle the Soul of someone whose combat power rivaled the Supreme God, all while chatting and laughing?

Moreover, under the influence of the Mental Hospital of Gods' rules, he could make a patient's Soul chaotic, but he couldn't damage the other party's Soul.

Because here, his role was that of a doctor. If he did something that violated the doctor's principles, he would be punished by this Divine Spirit Mental Hospital.

Strange. If he wasn't the one who did it, could it have been Michael himself?

That was even more impossible. With Michael's mental state just now, how could he have hidden it from him and completed self-destruction?

Chaos felt an inexplicable chill. "Damn it, this Divine Spirit Mental Hospital isn't haunted, is it?"

...On the Sea of Mist, Song Zhong stood on a reef.

His mouth slowly moved, as if he was savoring something delicious.

"The taste of an Archangel's Soul is really good! The taste of the Mortal Divine Realm is also very delicious."

Song Zhong's face revealed a sinister smile. Just moments ago, he had activated the ability he obtained from Shen Tu—Soul Devour.
