291: Crazy 【Xiu】
“Song Zhong…”
Chi You’s furious roar echoed in the System space, but unfortunately, Song Zhong had already left.
“Lord Chi You, please calm your anger!” Gonggong quickly advised from the side, “They are just two external possessions; Lord Chi You, please do not despair.”
“Scram…”
Chi You’s heart was filled with unvented rage, and at this moment, Gonggong happened to run over and act as his punching bag.
“Alas!” Gonggong sighed and said no more.
Boom!
A loud bang came from within the System space, as Chi You slammed his fist heavily onto the coffin lid.
The golden Power Of Faith ropes immediately tightened, firmly constricting the bronze coffin.
Chi You retracted his hand, and the coffin lid slowly closed again.
The System space returned to calm, as if nothing had happened.
…
Three days later, Sun City in the Egyptian God Kingdom.
Sun God Ra and several other Nine Pillar Gods simultaneously stood guard by [Shu]’s side, observing his recovery.
After consuming countless Human Realm Power Of Faith, the wounds on [Shu]’s body finally healed completely, but he remained in a coma, showing no signs of waking up.
“Shu’s injuries have mostly recovered,” said Aisis, the God of Life, “but his consciousness is still dormant. Perhaps Shu’s Mental Energy was also traumatized.”
“But the Power Of Faith of those ignorant people is also a form of Mental Energy; it should be able to heal Shu’s pain,” said the God of the Yellow Sand Set.
“It’s truly strange how Shu was so severely injured, but his Soul Power doesn’t seem to have changed much,” said Nephthys, the God of Death.
Just then, [Shu], bathed in Power Of Faith, moved his little finger.
“Oh? Shu seems to have moved,” Geb noticed this detail.
“He should be waking up!”
“As soon as he wakes up, we’ll be able to understand the situation in Great Xia.”
Seeing that Shu finally reacted, the Nine Pillar Gods were genuinely happy for him.
“Ugh…”
A painful groan escaped from [Shu]’s throat.
He weakly opened his eyes.
At first glance, he saw six heads floating above his body.
“You’re awake!”
The six Nine Pillar Gods spoke in unison.
“Hmm!” [Shu] felt a little dizzy in his head.
However, once he clearly saw the faces of these Gods, the confusion in his eyes was immediately replaced by terror.
“Ah!”
A piercing scream echoed across Sun Plaza, causing even Sun God Ra, who was seated on the divine pillar, to turn his head and observe.
The other Nine Pillar Gods were instantly bewildered. Why did [Shu] let out a pig-like scream as soon as he woke up?
“Hey, Shu, what’s wrong with you?” Geb asked in a deep voice.
Whoosh!
Suddenly, a storm arose over Sun Plaza, blowing sand and stones everywhere.
Sun God Ra frowned, and immediately, a wave of Divine Might spread out. The scattered sand and stones instantly disappeared, and the sky returned to its clear blue.
However, [Shu] had already darted out of his pillar of light. He clutched his head and frantically screamed:
“Don’t kill me, I don’t know anything, I don’t know anything…”
The plaza was empty, with no cover. [Shu] looked around and had no choice but to run to the base of Sun God Ra’s pillar of light.
Under the astonished gazes of the Nine Pillar Gods, [Shu] squatted beside the pillar of light, burying his head between his knees.
“What… what’s wrong with him?” Tefnut asked in confusion.
“Unclear. It looks like he’s gone mad?” Nut also couldn’t tell what Shu’s current condition was.
“What a joke,” Set immediately retorted Nut’s words, “How could a dignified Nine Pillar God go mad?”
“Then explain his abnormal behavior now,” Nut said testily.
Sun God Ra was also bewildered. What was going on?
He was fine before he left, so why did he become like this after being rescued?
“Aisis, go and see what’s going on?” Sun God Ra commanded.
Aisis nodded. She gently approached [Shu] and cautiously asked, “Shu, do you still remember me?”
Unexpectedly, Shu ignored her completely. Feeling someone approach him, he buried his head even deeper.
He was like an ostrich now; if there wasn’t sand here, he would surely bury his head in it.
Aisis was somewhat speechless. Helpless, she had no choice but to reach out and pat [Shu]’s back.
Unexpectedly, it would have been better if she hadn’t patted him. After the pat, [Shu] sprang up from the ground like a startled rabbit.
“Don’t come near me, I really don’t know anything, don’t hit me anymore, let me go back!”
After speaking, [Shu] pulled away from Aisis and looked at her warily.
“Don’t come over, don’t come over!” [Shu] said hysterically.
The Nine Pillar Gods looked at each other, unable to fathom how things had turned out this way.
“He, he really seems to have gone mad,” Geb said.
“Shu is a proud person. If he were still conscious, he would never behave in such a lowly manner,” Set slowly said. At this point, he had to admit that there was definitely something wrong with Shu’s mind.
Aisis was somewhat unwilling to give up. She continued to ask, “Um, do you still remember who you are?”
Hearing Aisis ask him, [Shu] seemed to fall into painful memories.
Suddenly, as if remembering something, [Shu]’s eyes abruptly became sharp.
“I remember, I am Shu.”
Hearing this, the worry in Aisis’s heart finally eased. At the very least, this guy still remembered his identity.
But the next second, an anomaly suddenly occurred. Countless wind scythes suddenly emerged around [Shu].
Terrifying Divine Power raged wildly across Sun Plaza.
“I remember, I remember,” [Shu]’s eyes were bloodshot. He looked at Aisis and the other Nine Pillar Gods behind her, and said viciously, “It’s you, it’s you!”
Under the astonished gazes of the Nine Pillar Gods, [Shu] continued through gritted teeth:
“It was you, you killed my dear friend, Osiris!
I will avenge him!”
Roar!
The terrifying sound of wind howling was like the roar of a beast. Enormous wind blades slammed towards Aisis and the other Nine Pillar Gods.
This sudden change caught everyone by surprise.
They never expected that [Shu], who was trembling in fear a second ago, would turn his blades on them the next second.
“Holy crap, you’re really crazy.” Aisis quickly dodged the attack.
With a bang, the huge wind blade directly struck the stone bricks of Sun Plaza.
How could the stone bricks withstand such an attack? With a loud bang, the stone bricks shattered into pieces, and dense cracks spread like a spiderweb across the entire plaza.
