369: The Gods' Suspicion

Upon hearing that roar, the Gods of Asgard erupted.

"It's the God King! The God King has responded."

"What, from the God King's words, was it Michael who launched the attack outside just now?"

"That legendary Angel King? Wasn't he always on the moon? Why is he back?"

"These aren't the main points, why would Michael attack Asgard?"

Just as the Gods of Asgard were perplexed, Michael's majestic voice came from outside.

"Odin, how dare you make a deal with the Cthulhu evil gods, willingly becoming their dog? Have you forgotten the oath you made to my Lord back then?"

Michael's voice was deafening. Odin, enraged upon hearing it, immediately roared:

"Michael, you're slandering me! I understand now, have you been misled by those Great Xia Gods? I'm telling you, it's not too late to turn back now."

At this moment, the Gods of Asgard had gathered in the square in front of the Tian Shen Temple.

"God King, please open the Rainbow Bridge, let us defend the dignity of Asgard!"

"Yes, God King, it seems we've been too quiet for too long, and this world has forgotten our terror."

"I will make Michael pay for his arrogance and ignorance!"

Odin did not stop the Gods' discussions; he was currently pondering a question in his mind.

That is, why did Michael dare to come to Asgard alone to challenge him?

Indeed, Michael's strength is terrifying. Among the surviving Supreme Gods today, if it were a one-on-one fight, let alone himself, even Zeus or a complete Brahma would not be absolutely confident of a complete victory.

But a one-on-one fight is one thing, challenging Asgard is another.

The Asgardian Gods are numerous, and there are many powerful experts among them. Coming alone to challenge them, even if Yelande were resurrected, he would have to think twice.

This Michael, why does he have such courage?

Things that are out of the ordinary must be evil. Odin's mind raced. Although he was irritable and prone to anger, that didn't mean he was a fool.

After careful consideration, Odin came to a conclusion: Michael was definitely not alone behind this.

Perhaps that group of Gods from Great Xia were watching all of this from some dark corner.

It's even hard to say whether the Tian Shen Temple and Olympus would also get involved.

After such a commotion by the Gods of Great Xia, Asgard and himself had already become targets of public criticism.

Several great divine kingdoms definitely wanted a piece of the pie here.

Thinking of this, Odin had already made a decision: the Rainbow Bridge would absolutely not be opened.

At this moment, Michael's voice came again from outside.

"Odin, you coward, do you have the guts to do it but not the guts to admit it? It was you who secretly entered the South Pole and destroyed the Seal, causing Cthulhu's power to leak out now.

The Gods of Asgard, you've probably kept them all in the dark, haven't you?"

Upon hearing this, Odin felt a bit flustered.

Although the Great Xia Heavenly Venerable had previously exposed his crimes, because Asgard and Great Xia were naturally in opposing positions, the Gods of Asgard subconsciously believed that the Great Xia Gods were lying.

But Michael was different. As the Angel King and God of Miracle, Michael's image had always been associated with fairness and justice.

Even among the Western Gods, Michael had a certain number of followers.

If this continued, the Gods of Asgard might begin to doubt him.

Thinking of this, Odin quickly retorted:

"Michael, I understand now. It seems you haven't been misled by the Great Xia Gods.

You've been on the moon for too long, and you've been infected by the evil gods of Cthulhu, haven't you?"

At this point, Odin simply resorted to a counter-accusation.

Michael, outside Asgard, heard Odin's words and became furious.

"Odin, heh heh, I'll just ask you one thing: do you dare to take off your eye patch? Do you dare to let the Gods of Asgard see what's truly in your eye?"

Michael's words were like a nuclear bomb, instantly igniting the Gods of Asgard.

"What is Michael saying? Is there a secret hidden beneath the God King's eye patch?"

"Nonsense, have you gone mad? Didn't the God King say that Michael has been corrupted by the Cthulhu evil gods? Do you believe his words?"

"But Michael is an old God of Heaven; he shouldn't be so easily corrupted, should he?"

"Exactly, exactly. But after his reminder, I suddenly became interested in the God King's eye patch..."

The noisy discussions reached Odin's ears. He was now exasperated. How did Michael know about the abnormality of his eye?

Could it be that the Cthulhus told him? That's impossible.

But at this point, he couldn't care about that much. He had to use thunderous means to dispel the suspicions of the Norse Gods.

The eye patch could not be removed, otherwise everything would be exposed.

"Thor!" Odin shouted loudly.

Thor, the God of Thunder, came before Odin and respectfully said, "God King, I obey your will."

"I declare that Asgard is now under martial law. Except for the members of the guard, all Gods must stay in their residences. Without my order, no one is allowed to move around freely."

"This..." Thor instinctively felt that Odin's order was somewhat inappropriate, but out of respect for his authority, he could only say, "I understand."

Immediately, Thor, along with the God of Light, the God of Darkness, and other Gods, went to the center of the square and began to dismiss these Gods.

The Gods, who had been discussing animatedly, were very confused by this action, but facing the majestic guards, they did not dare to openly contradict them and one by one had to retreat.

However, during the dismissal process, the Gods of Asgard felt a hint of doubt and dissatisfaction in their hearts.

"Why doesn't the God King prove himself?"

"Perhaps the God King doesn't want to be led by the nose by Michael?"

"Right, right, the God King is already disabled. Asking him to remove his eye patch in public is no different from humiliating him."

"But... I still feel there are some suspicious points about this matter."

"Forget it, stop talking, hurry home. Didn't you see that the guards' gazes were off?"

"Hurry, hurry, I don't want to get into trouble."

The Gods of Asgard eventually dispersed, but the seed of doubt was planted in their hearts.

After the Gods left, Thor returned to the Tian Shen Temple.

"God King, I have dismissed the Gods as per your command."

Odin nodded, then asked, "Thor, after hearing Michael's words, do you also have some doubts about me?"
