209: Chapter 210 Unbelievable, Absolutely Amazing!
The helicopter reached the airspace above and slowly descended.
Zhang Cheng was the first to jump out of the cabin, and the "Sharp Sword" team members dispersed like cheetahs, instantly securing all key positions with swift and professional movements, their cold gun barrels glinting in the night.
Zhang Cheng strode toward Director Qin Weiguo, who was coming to meet them; without any pleasantries, they verified each other's identities.
"Director Qin, where is the item?" Zhang Cheng's voice was concise.
Director Qin Weiguo solemnly handed over the metal box and the USB flash drive.
Zhang Cheng took them, carefully checked the seal, placed them into a specially made small briefcase, and handcuffed it to his own wrist.
"Mission accomplished! Evacuate!" Zhang Cheng waved his hand.
The team members immediately escorted Zhang Cheng and Director Qin Weiguo and quickly boarded the helicopter.
As for Engineer Liu and the few researchers, there were people specifically assigned to take them to sign confidentiality agreements...
The helicopter roared as it lifted off again, speeding toward the Eastern Theater Command headquarters base, and soon disappeared into the night sky of the magic city.
It came quickly and left just as quickly, as if it had never appeared at all.
Inside the cabin, aside from the roar of the engines, it was completely silent.
Zhang Cheng sat there like a statue, motionless.
The team members had eyes like lightning, vigilantly scanning the pitch-black night sky outside the cabin; although they knew the possibility of being attacked at this altitude was extremely slim, their long-cultivated professional instincts prevented them from relaxing in the slightest.
Director Qin Weiguo sat opposite Zhang Cheng; only now, as the plane flew away from the urban area of the magic city toward the safe military base, did the heart that had been stuck in his throat finally slowly settle back halfway.
His highly tense nerves relaxed slightly, and an indescribable sense of fatigue washed over him, but there was more of a lingering fear and... an inability to laugh or cry.
His gaze involuntarily drifted toward the briefcase that Zhang Cheng had firmly handcuffed to his wrist.
It was the little thing inside this that almost caused an earthquake...
"This Jiang Jing..." Elder Qin couldn't help but mutter in a low voice, shaking his head with a complex expression on his face.
"This kid is really something; such an important item, and he just shoved it into his pants pocket like that?"
"He sent it to me as if it were a pack of cigarettes, without even using a proper safe; I'm truly impressed."
He thought of Jiang Jing's lazy appearance, remembered his nonsense words like "made it while I was at it" and "saved my little money," and felt truly speechless yet amused.
"A genius... no, a freak! A monster!" Elder Qin shouted in his heart, "The beauty serum he created was already shocking, and now this strategic-grade material... How many more incredible things does he have in his head?"
His old-fox-like mind began to race at high speed.
Tempt him with profit?
This kid is very wealthy; money doesn't seem to have much appeal to him.
Beautiful women?
I heard the girls around him are all of extremely high beauty; he's probably immune to that too.
Then what should be done...
Perhaps I can give him a transcendent status, without the need for rigid rules and restrictions, yet allowing him to enjoy such conveniences—what is commonly known as getting benefits for free!
Seven or eight schemes to "trick" Jiang Jing into taking the bait flashed through Elder Qin's mind instantly; the more he thought about it, the more he felt this matter must be put on the agenda as soon as possible, and he absolutely could not let this peerless piece of unpolished jade continue to "waste" his talent in the business world!
Just as Elder Qin's thoughts were churning, the helicopter began to descend slowly.
The building complex of the Eastern Theater Command headquarters base could already be seen below, and a sense of reassurance washed over him.
When the helicopter landed steadily in the designated area, the cabin door opened, and he stepped onto the solid concrete ground.
Seeing the heavily armed soldiers with strict security measures all around, the last bit of unease in Director Qin Weiguo's heart completely vanished.
Once here, it was like entering the safest place in the world; if something could happen here, then the country would not be far from total war.
Zhang Cheng did not pause for a moment; after nodding to the base security chief who came to meet them, he and Elder Qin, escorted by a squad of soldiers, walked straight toward the building of the theater commander.
Passing through layers of checkpoints, they finally arrived outside the office of General Li Zhenguo, the theater commander.
The secretary had already received notice and immediately pushed open the office door.
Inside the office, Commander Li Zhenguo was standing with his back to the door, looking at the huge military map on the wall.
Hearing the door open, he turned around, his stern face bearing a trace of imperceptible anticipation and gravity.
His gaze fell immediately on the briefcase handcuffed to Zhang Cheng's wrist.
"Report! Mission accomplished! Supplies have arrived safely!" Zhang Cheng stood at attention with a "snap," saluted, his voice resonant and powerful.
"Good! Thank you for your hard work!" General Li Zhenguo returned the salute, a look of relief appearing on his face, then turned his gaze to Director Qin Weiguo, "Old Qin, you've worked hard too! Did anything go wrong?"
"Report, everything went smoothly. The Research Institute has been completely locked down, and the news has been kept within the smallest possible circle," Director Qin Weiguo replied; although he was exhausted, his spirit was highly excited.
General Li Zhenguo nodded, walked to the desk, and said to Zhang Cheng, "Open it."
Zhang Cheng then unlocked the handcuffs from his wrist, and after a series of complex opening procedures, the case opened, revealing the small metal piece and the USB flash drive lying quietly inside.
General Li Zhenguo picked up the metal piece and weighed it in his hand, as if weighing its inestimable importance.
He pushed his dedicated secure laptop over.
"Old Qin, confirm once more, is the content inside really as you described?"
Director Qin Weiguo took the USB flash drive and inserted it into the computer port.
The computer screen lit up; the USB flash drive was simple, and after opening it, a file directory popped up.
Inside were various categorized folders, with clear entries and rigorous logic; it was a completely mature and comprehensive technical system that could be directly put into industrial production!
Director Qin Weiguo couldn't wait to click on [Material Molecular Structure and Theoretical Exposition]; he only scanned it roughly for a few moments before being deeply shocked by the ingenious concepts and subversive theories contained within.
Many material science problems that had plagued him for years had found simple and elegant solutions here!
He suppressed the urge to immediately immerse himself in the research and clicked on [Comparison Table of Formulas and Process Parameters for Different Strength Grades].
Upon seeing this, he gasped!
The table clearly listed seven different performance grades, ranging from "Civilian Grade 1" to "Highest Grade"!
Each grade corresponded to detailed adjusted raw material ratios and completely different process flow parameters.
"Look!" Elder Qin's voice was filled with excitement, "This... this is practically tailor-made for us!"
"The Civilian Grade 1 and 2 already have performance far exceeding various alloys currently on the market, and based on the raw materials listed here, the cost might even be lower!"
"They can be completely used in automobile manufacturing and building materials, which can greatly reduce weight and improve performance!"
"Look at this Aviation Grade; it is 30% lighter than the latest titanium alloy we currently use on the J-20, and its strength and high-temperature resistance are improved by over 50%! Good heavens... if this were used on our fighter jets..."
"And this final Highest Grade, these parameters are practically prepared for the next generation of aerospace vehicles and deep-sea probes! Incredible! Simply incredible!"
