59: Chapter 59 Preparing to Depart
Jiang Jing strode toward the bedroom, kicked the door open, and tossed Zhou Wenying onto the soft, large bed.
"Wait..." Zhou Wenying suddenly propped herself up. "I have another outfit... one I prepared specifically for today..."
Jiang Jing raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"
Blushing, Zhou Wenying took an exquisite little box from the nightstand and handed it to Jiang Jing. "You... you turn around, and I'll put it on for you to see."
Jiang Jing took the box but had no intention of turning around. "Change right here."
"You...!" Zhou Wenying was so embarrassed that her toes curled, but in the end, she compromised.
Jiang Jing opened the box to reveal a nearly transparent black lingerie set. The fabric was pitifully sparse, with only a few wisps of sheer material covering the critical areas. It also came with a pair of black lace thigh-high stockings and a garter belt.
Under Jiang Jing's fiery gaze, Zhou Wenying changed into this "outfit," knelt on the bed, and looked at him shyly.
The semi-transparent black fabric barely covered anything; instead, it made everything appear tantalizingly obscured, even more alluring. The lace stockings wrapped around her long, beautiful legs, and the garter belt dug into the tops of her thighs, leaving faint marks.
"Does it look good?" Zhou Wenying asked in a low voice, her fingers twisting together nervously.
Jiang Jing's breathing became noticeably heavier, and he pulled Zhou Wenying into his arms. "What do you think?"
His kiss descended, so intense that Zhou Wenying nearly suffocated. Her body quickly melted into a puddle, and she could only cling weakly to Jiang Jing's neck, letting him take what he wanted domineeringly.
...
After the clouds and rain had passed, Zhou Wenying curled up in Jiang Jing's arms like a cat, her fingers subconsciously drawing circles on his chest.
"Are you hungry?" Jiang Jing patted her hip. "Should we order some food?"
Zhou Wenying shook her head, then suddenly flipped over to straddle him, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "I haven't finished that dance yet..."
Jiang Jing's eyes darkened, and his large hands gripped her slender waist. "It seems I didn't teach you a harsh enough lesson..."
Zhou Wenying giggled as she leaned down, whispering in his ear, "This time... it's my turn to teach you a lesson..."
As the night deepened, the lights on the 18th floor of the Yunhai View Mansion stayed on until dawn.
...
Early the next morning, Jiang Jing opened his eyes, gently moved the arm Zhou Wenying had draped over his waist, and got up to walk to the window.
"Leaving so early?" Zhou Wenying's lazy voice came from behind. She propped herself up halfway, the silk quilt sliding down to reveal a large expanse of snow-white skin.
Jiang Jing returned to the bedside and planted a kiss on her forehead. "There are some matters to attend to."
"Alright, be careful on the road," Zhou Wenying said very considerately. She knew that when a man was busy with his career, one must never throw a tantrum; quiet support was the correct choice.
Causing trouble would only get her labeled as unreasonable in his mind, and the label she wanted was "understanding."
At ten in the morning, Jiang Jing arrived at the underground garage of Li Xue's building to pick her up and take her back to the manor.
On the way to Shanshui Manor, Li Xue kept looking out the window in curiosity.
When the lamborghini drove through the manor gates, she couldn't help but exclaim, "Oh my god! Is... is this your home?"
What came into view was a landscape garden covering nearly a thousand acres, with a magnificent villa standing in the center. Fountains, a swimming pool, and a tennis court were all available, and in the distance, one could even see a small golf course.
"Do you like it?" Jiang Jing's lips curled slightly.
Li Xue nodded blankly, unable to speak for a moment.
The car stopped in front of the main building, where Jiang Yan was already standing at the entrance waiting. She was wearing a beige professional suit today, her hair pinned up meticulously, looking both professional and elegant.
"Mr. Jiang, Ms. Li." Jiang Yan bowed slightly. "Lunch is ready."
Li Xue's gaze lingered on Jiang Yan for a few seconds, and a trace of unease suddenly welled up in her heart.
This woman was so beautiful—tall figure, exquisite features, and that innate elegant temperament.
"This is Jiang Yan, my housekeeper," Jiang Jing introduced simply. "Jiang Yan, take Li Xue to her room, and by the way, have her try on the evening gown."
"Very well." Jiang Yan took Li Xue's suitcase. "Ms. Li, please come with me."
Li Xue followed Jiang Yan into the villa, inwardly stunned.
The 12-meter-high lobby, the imported Italian marble floors, the oil paintings on the walls that looked incredibly expensive... every detail exuded extreme luxury.
"The room is on the east side of the second floor." Jiang Yan's voice interrupted Li Xue's train of thought.
The guest room was even larger than Li Xue had imagined, with a minimalist yet elegant decor style. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows was a private balcony facing the manor's garden.
"There is a massage bathtub and a steam room in the bathroom, and the walk-in closet has been stocked with some daily clothing, all prepared according to your size," Jiang Yan introduced professionally. "The evening gown is hanging over there. You can try it on later; if it doesn't fit, we still have time to make alterations."
Li Xue walked to the walk-in closet and was stunned by what she saw—an entire wall of designer clothing, shoes, and bags, all in her size. In the center, a mannequin displayed a Valentino haute couture gown, the silvery-white fabric shimmering with a delicate luster under the lights.
"This... is all for me?" Li Xue couldn't believe her eyes.
Jiang Yan smiled and nodded. "Mr. Jiang specifically instructed it. He said your temperament suits the elegant style of Valentino."
A wave of warmth surged in Li Xue's heart, but it was immediately followed by a touch of bitterness. Jiang Jing was so good to her, but at the same time, he was also good to other women... Zhou Wenying, and this perfect housekeeper before her...
"Ms. Jiang," Li Xue suddenly spoke up, "how long have you been working here for Brother Jing?"
Jiang Yan's expression didn't flicker in the slightest. "Less than a month."
"Oh..." Li Xue said, lost in thought. "Then what kind of person do you think Brother Jing is?"
Jiang Yan stopped what she was doing and thought about it seriously. "Mr. Jiang is a very special person. Generous, decisive, and... unfathomable."
This answer made Li Xue even more uneasy. She bit her lip and asked tentatively, "Does he... often bring girls back?"
A flicker of complex emotion, difficult to detect, flashed across Jiang Yan's eyes. "Ms. Li, as a housekeeper, it is not appropriate for me to discuss my employer's private life." She paused. "However, you are the first lady I have ever seen invited to the manor."
Jiang Yan was, of course, lying to Li Xue. Seeing Li Xue's eager expression, she knew exactly what kind of answer she wanted to hear, and it was impossible for her to say anything that would cause trouble for Jiang Jing—this was basic professional integrity.
Jiang Yan's words made Li Xue feel a bit better, but she quickly remembered the messages Zhou Wenying had sent to Jiang Jing's phone...
"You can try on the evening gown later. If you need anything, feel free to press the call button." Jiang Yan bowed slightly and exited the room.
After the door closed, Li Xue immediately took out her phone and dialed Li Ruonan's number.
"Hello? Ruonan! Something huge has happened!" She lowered her voice. "Jiang Jing's housekeeper is a super beauty! There are too many beautiful women around him, and there's even a little vixen named Zhou Wenying!"
On the other end of the line, Li Ruonan whistled. "Oh? A crisis for the main wife?"
"Don't joke around!" Li Xue stamped her feet in anxiety. "I feel like I'm losing my advantage! That housekeeper has the temperament of a young lady from a wealthy family, and Zhou Wenying is young and knows how to act cute..."
"Calm down," Li Ruonan's voice became serious. "Remember what I taught you—don't fight, don't snatch, just make him unable to live without you. I'll give you a few tips later, so perform well."
Li Xue took a deep breath. "You're right... I'm counting on you then..."
