Chapter 108: Lilith Origin"Enough."

The moment the word left her lips, everything shifted.

Daniel, who had been seconds away from tearing the world in half, froze completely. His body lost all tension, like a puppet whose strings had just been cut. He turned his head slowly to the side... and saw the hand resting on his shoulder.

His face drained of all color.

"...Mother."

Lucifer, still kneeling, looked up through the dust and cracked air. His voice was rough, tired. "Who are you?"

The woman didn’t answer.

But Ruka did.

Not with words—just wide eyes and a sudden ache in his chest. A pull. Familiar. Deep.

Even Lucifer looked away for a second, as if he already knew—he just didn’t want to admit it.

"Your Majesty,"



Both Teemah and Rey dropped into a low bow, without hesitation.

Rey still held Vina tight, her body twisted with pain from the burning mark Lucifer had left. Her screams quieted as the woman—Lilith—waved her hand once.

Vina exhaled, the pain vanishing like smoke.

She blinked up at the woman... then bowed, her voice soft. "Thank you."

Lilith gave her a brief nod. Then turned.

Her eyes met Lucifer’s.

Then Ruka’s.

She smiled.

Not cold. Not distant.

Warm. Motherly.

"Children," she said. "You’ve grown well these past years. I’m so proud of you."

Lucifer froze.

Ruka’s breath caught.

"...What?" Lucifer said, low.

"You..."

Ruka didn’t finish his sentence. He couldn’t.

It all clicked.

Every instinct. Every whisper from his soul. Every piece of the unknown part of him he never understood—responded to her.

"Mother..." Daniel said again, voice low, nearly reverent.

Lilith turned to him now, her eyes calm—but sharp. No warmth left in them.

Her gaze was final.

"Return to the Demon Realm," she said.

She didn’t shout. She didn’t raise her voice. She just spoke. Clear. Direct.

She turned to the others.

"Teemah. Vina. Rey. Go."

They didn’t hesitate.

A portal of blood and smoke opened behind them—an exit pulsing with infernal light. Teemah stepped through first. Rey followed with Vina, holding her protectively.

Daniel stood firm.

"I’m not finished here."

His voice shook.

Lilith didn’t look impressed.

"You’ve done enough," she said.

He clenched his fists. "They defied us. Him—" he pointed at Lucifer. "He’s a mistake. He—"

FWOOM.

She waved her hand.

Just once.

Daniel didn’t get to finish.

The moment her fingers moved, force—invisible and ancient—crushed him.

"Ghk—!"

He didn’t scream. He didn’t resist.

He was flung—body cracking the air itself as he slammed into the portal. His outline faded into the red vortex.

Gone.

No goodbye.

Just gone.

Lilith lowered her hand slowly.

The battlefield was quiet again.

Lucifer stood now. Just barely. Still staring at her. Ruka beside him, breathing hard.

Temmy stepped forward once, hesitant.

"...Who are you really?" she asked.

Lilith looked at her. Then smiled again, soft.

"I’ll tell you everything," she said. "But first... let’s go home."

A new portal opened beside her.



Pure white.

Not hellish. Not demonic.

Something older.

Something balanced.

She looked back at Lucifer, Ruka, and Temmy.

"Well?" she asked gently.

"...Are you coming?"

Ruka stood frozen beside him.

Temmy narrowed her eyes but said nothing.

Lilith waited, the soft glow of the white portal reflecting off her silver lashes, casting faint halos around her features. She looked calm. Too calm. Like someone who had seen everything and didn’t care to explain any of it unless asked the right way.

Lucifer’s jaw tightened. His voice was low.

"Now you show up?"

Lilith turned back to him with that same smile. The same one that had once comforted him in blurry memories... or dreams. He wasn’t even sure anymore.

"I’ve always been here," she said softly.

"Not for us," Ruka muttered.

The words weren’t meant to slip out, but they did. Sharp and bitter.

Lilith didn’t flinch.

"I was where I needed to be," she said.

"Bullshit."

Lucifer stepped forward now. Not in anger. But in ache.

"You were a ghost. A myth. A curse we didn’t speak about. And now you show up to throw him—your own son—into a hole?"

She met his eyes.

Her smile faded.

"I did what needed to be done. You don’t understand now. You will."

Lucifer’s fists clenched. Shadows twisted beneath his boots.

Ruka looked at him, his voice a whisper. "Lucifer..."

Temmy remained behind them, silent. Watching. Studying Lilith. The power was overwhelming, yes—but the feeling wasn’t warm. Not to her. It was the chill of dominion. The pressure of someone who ruled because no one ever dared to say no.

Lilith stepped forward once.

"Come with me. I’ll explain everything. You deserve that much."

Lucifer stared.

The wind picked up around him, blowing through what remained of the scorched city. Ash floated. Buildings smoldered in the background.

Ruka turned to Lucifer. "Do we?"

Lucifer didn’t answer.

Then, softly—he asked the question that had gnawed at him for years.

"...Why did you leave us?"

Lilith didn’t blink. Her voice didn’t change.

"Because if I hadn’t, you’d both be dead."

The silence after that was heavier than any roar.

Lucifer’s gaze dropped for a second. Just one. Then rose again, sharper than before.

"Then why does it feel like we still died?"

Lilith didn’t answer.

The white portal behind her flickered.

Temmy finally stepped forward. She didn’t say anything to Lilith. She didn’t bow. Didn’t ask. She only looked once at the portal... then at Lucifer.

"I’ll go if you go," she said.

Lucifer glanced back. Ruka just nodded.

The three of them stood there—wounded, exhausted, surrounded by ruins.

Lilith turned.

Walked through the portal first.

Didn’t look back.

Didn’t wait.



Lucifer followed last.

His voice, low enough that only Ruka could hear.

"If she lies to us again... I don’t care what she is."

Ruka nodded, flames still faint on his shoulder. "We’ll finish what Daniel started."

And with that—

They vanished.

The white portal closed behind them.

The battlefield was quiet.

No wind. No fire. Just silence... and the scars left behind.

But the storm wasn’t over.

It had only moved realms.
