Angel’s voice cut through the chatter as she pointed between Ruka and Mob, her eyes wide with excitement. "You two are total opposites. Mob’s the lovechild of a human and an angel, and Ruka’s the kid of a demon and a human. It’s like... Michael and Lucifer all over again."

Her gaze shifted slyly toward Lucifer himself when she said that last part. "No offense."

Lucifer raised his glass from the mini-bar and gave her a lazy grin. "None taken."

He took a slow sip, then leaned back against the counter, his voice dripping with casual sarcasm.

"So, lemme get this straight—" he said, motioning between Ruka and Temmy. "His demon mom hooks up with a human guy, gets knocked up, dumps the kid on him, and vanishes. Poor guy chases after her like some tragic hero, stumbles into the Spirit Realm... and here we are."

Lucifer let out a low chuckle, setting his drink down with a soft clink. "And people say men are trash. Honestly, your mom might be the poster girl for ’worst girlfriend ever.’ No offense," he added with a smirk toward Ruka.

Ruka didn’t even blink. No anger, no retort. He just kept staring at Lucifer, his eyes narrowing slightly like he was trying to figure something out.

Ella, standing nearby, noticed the way Ruka was looking—way too intense for comfort. She crossed her arms with a frown.

"Oi. Are you... bi or something?" she asked bluntly, her tone suspicious.

Temmy snorted, stepping between them with a wave of her hand. "Relax, Ella. Ruka’s as straight as an arrow."



She turned her head slightly, glancing at Ruka, then back to the others. "He’s not checking him out. He’s sensing something. Their aura. It’s almost the same."

The room went quiet for a second. Everyone frowned.

Francisca leaned in a little, her sharp senses flaring as she examined Lucifer and Ruka carefully. She shook her head.

"I don’t feel anything weird. Nothing similar," she said.

Lucifer’s eyes glinted faintly, a hint of curiosity flickering behind that usual easygoing grin.

He could feel it too now—the tiniest resonance, like two strings vibrating in sync, deep under everything else.

But he didn’t say a word.

Neither did Ruka.

They just stared at each other across the room, the tension thick but quiet, like a drumbeat no one else could hear.

"So let me get this straight..."

Remu leaned forward with a huge grin, mischief sparkling in her eyes. "What you’re really saying is... Lucifer and this Ruka guy might actually have the same mom?"

She was practically vibrating with excitement, clearly enjoying herself way too much. If that was true, Lucifer had just unknowingly roasted his own mother.

The room buzzed with silent tension.

"Yeah," Temmy said, nodding slowly. "That’s what I’m thinking."

She glanced around at everyone before locking eyes with Lucifer.

"The first time I came to the human world, I felt it. Ruka’s aura... It pulled me in instantly. But when I met him, it wasn’t Ruka. It was him," she said, tilting her head slightly at Lucifer.

"They have the same natural aura. It’s faint, but it’s there. So... my theory is Lucifer’s not just a vampire. He’s part demon too."

The room went dead quiet.

Everyone turned to look at Lucifer.

"And from what I could dig up," Temmy continued, "Lucifer’s real parents? Total mystery. No records, nothing. Which only made me more sure."

For a beat, nobody said anything.

Then—

"Hahahahahaha!"

Remu doubled over laughing, holding her stomach.

"This is gold! If that’s true," she said between giggles, "Lucifer’s never even been human! And now that he’s a vampire too..."

She straightened up, her eyes gleaming. "Doesn’t that technically make him a hybrid? Half demon, half vampire?"

The others were still processing when Temmy shook her head.



"Not exactly," she said.

"He doesn’t have a demon bloodline like Ruka. It’s different. I think the demon part just... boosted his vampire side. Made him into something special. Something stronger."

As she spoke, Temmy could feel Lucifer’s sharp stare boring into her, heavy enough to make her throat dry up.

She glanced at him—and immediately went quiet.

The way Lucifer was looking at her, it was obvious.

He knew.

He had always known.

But for some reason, he never said a word.

And now, standing there in the center of everyone’s curious stares, he just gave a small, humorless smile—and poured himself another drink.

Francisca’s face lit up like a kid on Christmas morning.

If this was true, Lucifer could finally find his family. Maybe even reunite with a long-lost brother.

...Well, they still needed to confirm it first.

Lucifer caught the look on her face and sighed heavily, rubbing his temple like he was getting a headache.

He could already tell what was running through that silly girl’s head.

"Tch," he clicked his tongue and took a step forward.

"I don’t buy any of this," he said flatly, his voice cutting through the room.

Everyone turned to him, the atmosphere tightening.

"You think just because some random guy shows up and shares some vague aura with me, that makes us brothers?" he said, sweeping his cold gaze across everyone, stopping finally on Ruka.

He took another slow sip from his drink and chuckled, but there was no humor in it.

"Because our so-called ’mother’ couldn’t even keep her legs and did not have anything better to do than to breed children for different men. I’m supposed to believe that a random guy is my brother?"

He shook his head, eyes narrowing.

"Until I get real proof, don’t you dare call me ’brother.’ Don’t even think it."

Nobody said a word for a second.

They all understood where he was coming from.

The silence stretched—until Mob, leaning casually against the wall with his arms crossed, broke it.

"...I think Remu might have a way to confirm it," he said, smirking a little.

All eyes snapped to Remu, who was already grinning like she’d just won the lottery.

"Of course I do!" she said, practically bouncing where she stood.



She clapped her hands together, her eyes shining with excitement.

"I’ve been dying to wipe that smug look off Lucifer’s face! Let’s see if the Devil really has a little brother!"

Lucifer let out a sharp breath through his nose, annoyed but clearly curious.

Ruka, meanwhile, just stood there silently, watching Lucifer with unreadable eyes.

Remu cracked her knuckles dramatically and stretched out her hands.

"Alright, you two! Get ready! This’ll only sting a tiny bit!"

The tension in the room crackled like static.

Everyone leaned in, holding their breath.

Lucifer stared at her, deadpan.

"If you mess up my hair, I’ll kill you."

Remu only grinned wider.
