Chapter 205: Clearing The 10 Floors

The stairs didn’t end.

Lucifer walked. His boots echoed against stone, his scythe dragging beside him, still stained from the god-class vampire he’d dropped. He didn’t look back. The deeper he went, the colder it got. Not temperature—just presence. Something older than blood waited below.

Floor V (a special floor for a vampire) opened like a cracked tomb.

The room was circular again, but this time the walls bled. Slowly. Black blood oozed from the stone. At the center stood a throne made of ribs—and seated upon it was a woman with no face, only a mouth. Long silver hair. Armor like shattered obsidian.

She rose when he entered.

No words.

She stepped forward, and the room responded. The blood on the walls hissed—boiled—then lifted. Floating, alive. She raised a finger.

Blood Needles.

Thousands.

Lucifer moved—Fold Step.

But the needles didn’t target where he was. They targeted his aura.

They hit.



Dozens tore into him. His left arm took the worst. Crimson Reaver spun out of his grip.

She vanished.

Reappeared behind him. Kicked his spine.

He flew face-first into the bone throne.

Blood poured from his forehead.

Lucifer stood.

Flexed.

The needles popped out of his skin as his blood armor forced them out.

He cracked his neck.

"Cute."

She charged again.

Lucifer didn’t dodge this time. He leaned into the punch—caught her wrist—then jammed his knee into her ribs. The armor cracked. He twisted her body mid-air and slammed her into the wall.

She laughed.

Her body split into smoke.

Then reformed behind him.

Her hands caught fire—black fire.

Vampire Hellfire.

She pressed both palms into his back.

The explosion rocked the room.

Lucifer rolled across the floor, skin steaming.

He pushed up slowly, blood pooling around him. He smiled.

"Mine now."

He inhaled.

Black flames pulled from the air into his chest.

He absorbed it.

Blood Mimicry.

He stood.

Raised both hands.

Black fire wrapped around his arms like gauntlets.

She paused.

Too late.

Lucifer moved again.

Close range.

He threw a punch—the hellfire erupted on contact—shattering her arm.

She screamed.

Lucifer didn’t stop.

He dragged her into the air, spun, and brought her down in a head-crushing slam.

Floor V—cleared.

No announcement.

Just stairs again.

He descended.

Floor 4a was worse.

Fog everywhere.

Whispers.

Then motion.

Dozens of beings moved through the mist. Crawling. Running. Flying.

No shape. No eyes.

Just red outlines.

Lucifer didn’t flinch.

He walked straight through the fog.

They attacked.

A blur lunged from the right.

Lucifer cut it in half with the scythe.

A swarm from above.

He created a blood wall—Crimson Shell—hardened and spiked. They hit it and burst into red steam.

The whispers got louder.

Lucifer roared—Bloodquake.

His voice shattered the fog, blowing back the enemies.

Then he saw it.

The real threat.

Something massive crawled out of the mist.

A centipede made of vampire corpses, heads still twitching.

Lucifer spat blood into the air—shaped it into a single dart.

Then fired it.

Straight into the beast’s brain cluster.

It screamed and melted.

Floor 4a cleared.

No celebration.

Just another staircase.

He didn’t stop.

Floor 4 was a mirror room.

But not a reflection of him.

It showed everything he could’ve been—versions where he was king, versions where he was a monster.

One stepped out.

A version of him that had killed Lilith.

Lucifer tilted his head.

"I don’t need to talk to you."

He charged.

The clone met him with equal speed.

Same powers.

Same scythe.

It was brutal.

Each strike mirrored.

Each dodge identical.

But Lucifer smiled through it.

Because only one of them learned pain.

He let the clone cut him—then wrapped his hand around its throat and drained every drop of blood.

The mirror cracked.

Shattered.

Floor 4 cleared.

Floor 5a? Empty.

Just a single child sitting in the middle.

Lucifer walked forward.

The child looked up.

Eyes black.

It opened its mouth.

And screamed.

The sound hit like a truck.

Lucifer’s ears bled.

Then his vision warped.

The room melted.



Suddenly he was drowning.

But not in water.

In sorrow.

Memories he never lived.

Pain he never earned.

He couldn’t breathe.

Couldn’t see.

Then he snapped.

His blood flared—Aura Burn.

A violent pulse knocked everything away.

The illusion shattered.

The child vanished.

Lucifer stood alone again.

Breathing hard.

He kept going.

Floor 5 was water.

A shallow ocean.

He walked knee-deep.

Then something pulled him under.

Fangs.

Dozens.

Sharks made of blood and bone.

Lucifer didn’t panic.

He exploded his aura outward.

The sea boiled.

He rose—hovering over the surface.

Then turned the water into blood with a gesture.

Blood Domain.

The sharks rotted instantly.

Floor 5 done.

Floor 6—he fought a werewolf vampire hybrid.

Ten feet tall.

Snarling.

Too fast to track.

Lucifer got slammed five times before he landed a hit.

But once he did?

He buried the scythe in its chest.

Then split it upward—cleaving bone, fur, and muscle.

Floor 9?

Wind.

Blades of it.

Every step he took, the room tried to slice him apart.

He smiled.

And ran straight through.

Let the wind tear at him.

He reached the center.

A statue waited.

He raised his hand.

Blood spike.

One shot.

Statue shattered.

Wind stopped.

Floor 10a?

An empty battlefield.

But the ground was covered in weapons.

Spears. Axes. Blades.

Then they rose.

Controlled by no one.

A storm of ancient vampire weapons.

Lucifer grinned.

He copied it.

Crimson Arsenal.

Hundreds of weapons formed behind him.

Clashed mid-air.

The sky rained metal.

Lucifer weaved through it, laughing like a lunatic.

Then punched the center—Blood Burst Implode.

All weapons froze.

Then collapsed.

Floor 10.

Silence.

Just a circle of stones.

And in the middle?

Him.

Another version.

Older. Stronger. Hungrier.

The real him.

Lucifer stepped forward.

They fought.

No tricks.

Just pure violence.

Scythe against scythe.

Fist against fist.

They moved too fast for sound.

Too hard for the floor.

The other Lucifer bled first.

Lucifer didn’t smile.

He just kept going.

Until his blade took the head.

The body vanished.

The floor dimmed.

And then—finally—the system pinged.

Lucifer stood still.

The floor beneath him reformed into smooth black stone.

A return portal flickered to life behind him.

He didn’t move.

Didn’t step in.

He sat.

Cross-legged.

Crimson Reaver beside him.



He exhaled.

Then pulled a small dagger from his coat.

Began sharpening it on his palm—letting the blood flow.

Training.

Testing.

Tempering.

He didn’t leave.

Not yet.

He stayed in the tower.

Bleeding.

Evolving.

Preparing.
