Luna Rae stood on the rooftop, hair tangled from the wind, fingers wrapped around her mic. She wore no makeup. No suit. Just a black coat, her press badge flapping like a warning tag. Behind her, a drone-camera hovered in silence, live light blinking.

The world was watching.

She took a breath. Steady.

"...Three days ago," Luna began, voice quiet but clear, "I stood face to face with the most feared supernatural in the world—Lucifer Origin."

No intro. No fancy transitions. Just her.

She looked straight into the lens.

"I expected a monster. I found something else."

Below the rooftop, her crew worked in silence—people she trusted. People who, like her, had seen too much to pretend anymore. The broadcast was already linked to all channels—corporate, underground, even black-market netstreams. Everyone would see this.

She looked into the camera again, sharper this time.

The wind picked up.

From the tower below, a signal launched—her team sending out every file, every interview, every recording they had compiled since the beginning.

Broadcasts began hijacking national screens.

Billboards glitched.

Streaming platforms flipped to Luna’s footage.

The world stopped spinning for just a moment.

She finished:

The feed went black.

In a cramped apartment in Tokyo, a mother stared at her son—his eyes glowing faintly. She touched his cheek, softly. "You’re not cursed," she whispered. "You’re gifted."

In London, a police officer turned off the screen, pulled off his badge, and walked away.

In Lagos, a young girl with fox ears turned to her brother. "She said she stands with us."

He nodded. "Then maybe... we’re not alone."

Lucifer stood at a high balcony, arms folded as the storm finally broke over the city. Rain tapped against the old stone rails.

Behind him, Zane approached.

"You see it?" Zane asked.

Lucifer nodded once.

Zane smirked. "She did it."

"She did," Lucifer said.

"Think it’ll matter?"

Lucifer didn’t answer immediately.

He watched as the skies lit up with thunder, as if the world itself was waking up.

"...It already has," he finally said.

Down in the war rooms, the clan was gathering. Allies were shifting. Eyes were opening.

Lucifer turned, coat flaring with the wind.

"Let them come."

Because now...

They weren’t just shadows in the dark.

The air cracked with heat and motion.

Francisca moved first—legs sweeping low, eyes sharp. Her kick slammed toward Angel’s ribs with a whiplike snap. Angel caught it cleanly with both hands but still slid back a few steps, boots digging grooves into the stone floor.

"Lucifer’s methods are effective," Francisca said, lowering into stance again, breath steady.

Angel rolled her neck, her claws shimmering faintly in the dim red lighting. "More effective than the old foggies, that’s for sure." She lunged with a sudden swipe—three claws cutting for Francisca’s face.

But Francisca wasn’t there anymore.

She twisted, ducked under the strike, and appeared at Angel’s side with a blur of motion.

Angel barely smirked before leaping back, tail flicking in the air. "You’re faster."

Francisca’s knuckles sparked faintly with violet energy. "You’re holding back."

"Maybe," Angel said with a grin. "Maybe not."

The two clashed again, body to body, motion too fast for normal eyes. Palm strikes. Elbow feints. Sparks flew when Angel’s claws scraped Francisca’s reinforced bracers. The sound echoed across the training yard like steel on steel.

Footsteps.

Both women paused mid-movement, glancing toward the stone archway.

Ella stepped into view, hands in her coat pockets, hair slightly tousled from the wind outside. The training ground lights reflected off her silver pendant, her expression unreadable as always.

Angel’s eyes flared yellow for a second. Her nose twitched. She sniffed the air—

Then grinned wide.

"Well, well," she purred. "Lucifer’s girl."

Francisca blinked and looked sharply at Ella. "Wait... what?"

Angel grinned harder, circling Ella like a wolf. "I’d recognize his scent anywhere. It’s all over you."

Ella raised an eyebrow but didn’t move. "Should I be worried you’re sniffing me?"

Francisca folded her arms, tilting her head. "When? How?"

Ella sighed and scratched her cheek, glancing away. "It’s... a long story."

Angel leaned in, still smirking. "Was it before or after the massacre at the resistance base?"

Ella stared at her. "Definitely after."



Francisca looked between them, processing, then nodded. "Well... good for you. I think."

Angel nudged Ella with her elbow. "You survive his blood magic and that scary charm of his, you’ve earned the badge."

Ella smirked faintly. "Not really trying to earn anything. It just... happened."

Francisca walked back to her side of the ring, grabbing a water bottle. "Long story or not, I want details later."

"No," Angel said with a grin. "We want visuals."

Ella narrowed her eyes. "Touch me again and I’ll twist your tail into a knot."

Angel laughed. "Now that’s Lucifer’s girl."

They all stood there for a moment, the tension broken, the storm outside beginning to roll in.

The war outside raged.

But here—inside these walls, within this strange family forged from blood, shadow, and survival—

There was room to breathe.
