91: Chapter 91 Even if you shout until your throat is hoarse, it won't do you any good today.
Deep inside the rock crevice, the light was dim.
The fishy smell of fermented seawater mixed with the sweat of men who hadn't washed for days was enough to make one gag.
Wang Qiang grabbed Song Ya by the hair and slammed her hard against the rough rock wall.
Song Ya let out a muffled groan from the impact, curling up in pain.

"Song Ya, do you still think you're some pure and innocent little flower in an office building?"
Wang Qiang crouched down and gripped Song Ya's chin tightly. "How many times did I drop hints at the company? You wouldn't come to dinner, you wouldn't take the bags I bought... what are you acting like a chaste martyr for?"
Song Ya's eyes were completely red. Her hands were tied behind her back, and she couldn't break free. Tears fell pitter-patter to the ground.
"Supervisor Wang, I beg you... please let me go. I'll definitely repay you in the future..."
"Repay?" Wang Qiang laughed lewdly. "Letting me have a good time is your way of repaying me, hehe..."
"Song Ya, haven't you always wondered how an intern who just passed probation like you managed to follow the executives onto a luxury cruise ship?"
His fingers dug deep into Song Ya's flesh. "Lin Fan came on board to serve plates and work like a beast of burden. But you? I got the Personnel Department to give you special approval!"
"Since I couldn't get my hands on you at the company, I figured I'd have a taste at sea!"
Wang Qiang spat on the ground. "It's even better that the ship capsized. There are no cameras or police on this godforsaken island. Even if you scream your lungs out today, it won't help!"
"Don't touch me... someone, please save me..." Song Ya cried until her voice was hoarse, looking outside in despair.
Chen Jian and the other male colleagues they saw every day all looked away in unison.
In a place where even the sod was about to be gnawed clean, who would care if you lived or died?
"Cry! The more you cry, the more excited I get!" Wang Qiang grabbed Song Ya's collar.
"Rip..." Her chiffon shirt was torn open, revealing a large expanse of fair skin.
"Ah, no... please, let me go..."
Song Ya screamed, desperately trying to knee him.
But under absolute physical suppression, her resistance was like a joke.
Just as Wang Qiang's hand was about to pull at her waistband, "Stop."
A cold shout suddenly rang out from behind the crowd.
Wang Qiang's movements paused. He turned his head and looked toward the source of the voice.
Su Qingxue was standing a few meters away.
She looked extremely disheveled now; her designer suit was tattered and covered in mud and sand, and her messy hair clung to her cheeks.
She hadn't intended to intervene, but hearing Song Ya's screams and seeing Wang Qiang's disgusting face, she ultimately couldn't suppress the last of her moral compass.
She wasn't just the CEO of Shengtang Group; she was also a woman.
She couldn't stand to see Song Ya being violated like this.
"Wang Qiang," Su Qingxue looked at him coldly, "let her go."
Wang Qiang's hand froze in mid-air.
Though he was crazed with hunger, a sliver of fantasy about civilized society remained in his mind.
If the people on this island were eventually rescued, a single word from Su Qingxue could send him to prison for life.
"President Su," Wang Qiang gave a dry laugh and slowly stood up, but didn't move his feet. "This girl is in cahoots with Lin Fan. Lin Fan killed several of our people with rocks up there; she's an accomplice! She'll get the death penalty back home anyway, so I'm just teaching her a lesson on everyone's behalf."
"I said, let go," Su Qingxue's tone sharpened, leaving no room for doubt.
Wang Qiang's face flushed between pale and blue. He gnashed his teeth but finally let go of Song Ya's hair.
He didn't dare gamble. What if a helicopter arrived tomorrow?
Song Ya collapsed to the ground in relief, gasping for air.
Just then, a burly man stepped out from the crowd.
"Supervisor Wang, you're afraid of her, but I'm not."
That man was Liu Gang, and he wasn't an employee of Shengtang Group. His younger brother was a junior supervisor, and he had been brought along on the cruise as a family member for the team-building trip.
Liu Gang strode over to Wang Qiang and shoved him aside.
"Boss Su, is it?" Liu Gang pointed at Su Qingxue's nose. "You're their boss. You can control them, but you can't control me!"
Su Qingxue's face turned ashen. "Don't you dare. If you touch her today, I'll make sure you rot in prison once we get back."
Liu Gang smiled. "President Su, I wasn't born yesterday."
"If you keep nagging, I'll take you too. Who knows if a rescue team can even find this place? Who knows if I'll even live until then?"
"I've never had a billionaire CEO in my life."
Su Qingxue was rendered speechless by his aggression.
On this Deserted Island, she had no actual deterrent power.
Seeing Su Qingxue wisely shut up, Liu Gang sneered. He pinned Song Ya against the rock wall and reached for her belt without hesitation.
"No! Let me go! Get away!" Song Ya kicked and thrashed wildly, her tears finally bursting forth like a broken dam.
Su Qingxue bit her lip and turned her head away. She didn't dare take the risk; if Liu Gang really came for her, she wasn't sure how many people would step up to help.
Chen Jian remained where he was, a faint sneer playing on his lips.
The conflict had shifted, emotions were vented—perfect.
Despair completely enveloped Song Ya.
Just as Liu Gang's hand was about to tear off her clothes.
"Let her go."
A voice interrupted him once again.
Liu Gang's movements stopped.
Wang Qiang shuddered all over and looked toward that direction in disbelief.
This voice was somewhat familiar to him.
Even Chen Jian's usually calm face froze for a few seconds the moment he heard that voice.
Everyone turned their heads in unison toward the source of the sound.
The person speaking was Lin Fan.
He wasn't missing any limbs, nor were there any signs of beast bites; he stood there completely unscathed.
"Lin... Lin Fan?!" Wang Qiang pointed at Lin Fan. "You... didn't you die in the woods?!"
They had heard those shrill screams crystal clear.
That was a primitive jungle teeming with mutated monsters; how could he have come out alive?
Lin Fan ignored Wang Qiang. His gaze swept past the crowd and landed on Song Ya, who was pinned against the rock wall by Liu Gang.
Seeing Song Ya's torn shirt and the blood at the corner of her mouth, Lin Fan's eyes narrowed slightly.
The moment Song Ya saw Lin Fan, her tears flooded out uncontrollably.
Half was the lingering fear, and the other half was the relief of seeing that he was okay.
"Lin Fan... you're okay..."
Liu Gang snapped out of it. Instead of letting go, he grabbed Song Ya by the neck and pulled her in front of him as a shield.
"Don't come any closer." Liu Gang stiffened his neck. "I know you have a knife. If you dare come forward, I'll strangle her right now."
