The 14th Beauty

He had been in this industry for three or four years,

and what kind of background had he not seen in a guest?

The young man before him didn't look particularly flashy in his dress,

but Chu Feifei and Shen Nian, who were clinging to his arms on either side,

one glamorous and one pure, one passionate and one cool,

were both peerless beauties with top-tier looks and temperament.

Even their attire complemented them, making them look all the more stunning and eye-catching,

turning everything around them into a dim background in an instant.

Chu Feifei was a bright and scorching beauty with a rich, striking face, wearing a wine-red velvet camisole dress.

The form-fitting cut outlined her exquisite and graceful curves,

and the floor-length hem shimmered with a delicate pearlescent glow.

Her collarbones were as delicate as a painting, and her ink-black wavy hair was draped lazily over her shoulders.

Her eyebrows were like distant mountains, the corners of her peach-blossom eyes were slightly upturned, and her pupils were as bright as cold stars.

Her nose was pert and elegant, and her crimson lips possessed a natural, shimmering charm even without makeup.

Her cool, pale skin appeared even more flawlessly porcelain-white against the red dress.

With a sharp and refined jawline, she was a focal point of sharp brilliance just by standing there.

Shen Nian, on the other hand, was like a transcendent immortal with a clear and ethereal face.

She formed a sharp contrast with Chu Feifei's brightness, yet they were equally matched.

She wore a modified white silk waist-high Ruqun with light, flowing sleeves and orchid patterns embroidered on the hem.

Her steps were like a gentle breeze brushing against willows, filled with an immortal aura.

Her jet-black hair was loosely held up by a jade hairpin, with a few stray strands hanging by her cheeks,

making her long neck look as graceful as a swan's.

Her eyebrows were like light mist over distant mountains, and her apricot eyes were as clear as autumn waters,

hiding an untainted purity and a faint sense of detachment.

Her nose was delicate and straight, and her lips were small and soft.

Her complexion was as lustrously white as mutton-fat jade, and her temperament was ethereal and gentle,

yet she carried a natural sense of cold detachment, a beauty that was clean and high-class,

making people only dare to watch from afar, not dare to desecrate.

One in red and one in white, one fiery and one soft, one seductive and one immortal.

The two beauties' looks were at the pinnacle, and their outfits complemented their respective grace.

Standing together in the same frame, they were a pair of peerless beauties rarely found in this world.

Walking down the street, their head-turning rate would be explosive.

If it were any ordinary Second-generation rich, how could they handle such a scene?

Anyone with a discerning eye could see that this man was definitely a low-profile big shot.

There was no need to worry about VIP status or anything else;

leaving a good impression was more important than anything.

He definitely couldn't be offended.

As soon as the three of them were seated, the Waiter immediately turned and hurried back,

holding three thick menus with gold-stamped covers in his hands.

He respectfully handed them to the three, not even daring to touch the corners of the menus with his fingertips.

He stood to the side, waiting with a respectful tone:

"What would the three of you like to eat?"

"Our restaurant's signature Beef Wellington and seafood platter are both fresh arrivals today. You can take your time looking."

Lin Chen casually placed the menu on the table.

He wasn't in a hurry to flip the pages, but instead turned his head to look at Chu Feifei and Shen Nian beside him.

His tone was casual and generous, exuding a certain unambiguous confidence:

"Take a look at what you two want to eat. Don't be formal, order whatever you like."

"My treat!"

Chu Feifei's fingertips gently brushed the cover of the menu.

She looked up and glanced at Lin Chen, her eyes hiding a bit of lingering awkwardness,

along with a small sense of spite.

Hearing him say that, her lips pursed slightly.

She didn't politely decline as she usually would,

but instead raised her chin decisively,

her tone carrying a bit of playful competitiveness:

"Alright, you said I could order whatever I want, so I won't be polite."

Internally, she thought:

"I'll watch you put on airs. You made me suffer last night,"

"and today we're at a star-rated restaurant. If I don't order something incredibly expensive to make your heart bleed, I won't be satisfied."

After speaking, she opened the menu, completely ignoring the reasonably priced regular dishes.

Her finger slid directly to the exclusive custom section at the very end of the menu.

With a small sense of 'revenge' in her eyes,

she specifically picked dishes marked as 'Limited,' 'Chef's Special,' and 'Most Expensive.'

With every dish name she called out,

the Waiter's eyes next to her brightened, and his waist bent a few degrees lower.

"Baked Baby Lobster with Black Truffle, I want the largest one."

"Aged Caviar with French Foie Gras, I want the oldest vintage collection."

"M12 Wagyu Beef Wellington,"

"Two servings, medium-rare, and the pastry must be freshly baked."

"Deep-sea Bluefin Tuna Otoro Sashimi, I want the Otoro cut fresh today."

"Truffle Cream Mushroom Soup, the one garnished with gold leaf."

"French Baked Snails with premium white wine sauce."

"Champagne Jelly Bird's Nest dessert,"

"And that limited edition Chocolate Lava Cake, I want the top-tier version."

She listed eight dishes in a row, all of which were the most luxurious items in this Michelin-starred restaurant.

They were also the eight most expensive items on the entire menu.

She didn't pause at all, and after finishing, she glanced at Lin Chen,

as if waiting to see if his face would change from the cost.

The pen in the Waiter's hand was almost shaking.

His face was full of uncontrollable smiles.

The commission from this single order was more than he usually made in half a month.

He hurriedly nodded and bowed as he responded, for fear of missing a single dish:

"Certainly, Miss. These eight dishes you've ordered are all our restaurant's top-tier signature items."

"I will immediately instruct the kitchen to prioritize the arrangement and use the best ingredients to prepare them!"

Guests at neighboring tables heard this string of dish names,

and they all turned their heads to look, their eyes full of surprise.

They secretly speculated about Lin Chen's identity.

After all, being able to casually let a female companion order eight top-tier dishes

was not something an ordinary wealthy person could do.

Shen Nian sat to the side and gently pulled Chu Feifei's sleeve,

whispering a sentence:

"Isn't it a bit too much?"

Yet her eyes also hid her admiration for Lin Chen.

"Isn't he just an ordinary student?"

"Even if Feifei said he knows how to trade stocks, he shouldn't be squandering money like this!"

"Could it be his family owns a mine?"

"A hidden Second-generation rich?"

"It's possible; Feifei's family background is worth hundreds of millions."

"Although she wants to use Lin Chen to suppress her campus rivals, her eye for people wouldn't be bad."

But Lin Chen didn't even frown throughout the whole process.

He leaned back in his chair, his fingertips gently tapping the table.

His expression was very calm, as if he didn't care about this level of spending at all.

Instead, he found Chu Feifei's spiteful little look amusing.

He spoke indifferently:

"Finished ordering?"

"Do you want to add two drinks?"

"Feel free to open any of the premium champagnes to go with the meal."

Chu Feifei had originally been waiting to see him look embarrassed,

but he didn't have the slightest reaction. Instead, he appeared even more calm and wealthy.

Most of her spiteful thoughts vanished instantly.

Her cheeks flushed slightly, and she turned her face away with a small huff.

"No need!"

She didn't say anything more,

but a different kind of emotion quietly bubbled up in her heart.

"What are you ordering?"

Lin Chen asked Shen Nian, who seemed to be in thought.

"I'll just eat what Feifei just ordered. She ordered so much that one person can't finish it."

Lin Chen nodded.

He looked at the menu again.

"Give me a portion of the aged caviar and a 'limited vintage Burgundy...'"

His voice wasn't loud,

but the guests around the table area all stopped and looked at him instantly.

"He's still ordering..."

"Which young master is this? I haven't seen him before!"

"Yeah, his face is very unfamiliar,"

"and those two beauties at his table are really gorgeous."

At a table where two men were eating, one of them said:

"Watching this makes my blood boil!"

"Right?!"

"After eating, I have to go get a full-service SPA to soothe the restless energy in my body."

"Hehehe!"

"Alright, let's go together!"
