71: Chapter 71 Running Away First

Mo Yufei was deep in thought, wondering if he should run away right now. But after thinking about it carefully, leaving now would be too much of a loss.

Didn't these people from the Blood Killing Hall want that energy crystal mine? Then he would empty it out.

He did not speak to defend himself again. Taking advantage of the gap while the Blood Killing Hall members were sneering triumphantly, he quietly closed his eyes. His consciousness sank sharply, instantly plunging into the space.

Inside the secret realm, ten androids were organizing the parcels Mo Yufei had just collected into the space.

Because they had disconnected from the Main World's Star Hub network, they were always in offline working mode. The blue light in their eyes was faint and steady, lacking some anthropomorphic emotional fluctuations, retaining only the core basic programs.

Not far away, Xiaohei, Benboba, Dabai, Xiaobai, and Xue Rong were playing and resting in the secret realm. Suddenly, they felt a spatial fluctuation and immediately became alert.

Back in the secret realm, Mo Yufei had already made an agreement with them in advance.

Once he actively opened a Space Channel to release them from the secret realm, it meant he might be in a desperate situation and they must immediately enter the highest state of alert.

Outside, on the open ground of the Fragment World, a circle of light blue spatial ripples suddenly appeared in front of Mo Yufei. The ripples expanded rapidly, forming a half-person-high spatial rift.

The next second, ten beautiful figures were the first to step out of the rift and land steadily.

It was exactly the ten androids from Mo Yufei's secret realm!

They were disconnected from the Star Hub network and were in an offline state the whole time. The indicator lights in their eyes only shone with a basic cold white. The moment they landed, the heads of the ten androids turned synchronously, and their built-in environmental scanning systems operated at full speed.

Red scanning beams swept across the entire field, quickly locking onto the still-warm corpses of the Federal Agents on the ground, detecting "human loss of vital signs," "large amount of hostile armed forces in the vicinity," and "target Mo Yufei is in a high-risk state."

Without needing extra instructions, the basic protection program started instantly!

The androids' eyes lit up with red light, and they rushed straight towards Mo Yufei. Their movements were swift and emotionless, solely to execute the core instruction of "protect the target."

Almost at the same time the androids stepped out, several vigorous figures also leaped out from the spatial rift. Xiaobai's fur stood on end, and light blue electric currents swirled around its body.

Benboba spread its wings and took flight, emitting a sharp cry. Xiaohei arched its back, accurately locking onto the position of every Blood Killing Hall assassin. The little ones were mentally connected to Mo Yufei and fully understood the danger at this moment.

"What is that?!" The Blood Killing Hall members were startled to their feet by the suddenly appearing spatial rift. Seeing the ten cold androids and several fierce spirit beasts, their expressions changed drastically. "Stop them! Don't let them get close to Mo Yufei!"

The surrounding assassins brandished their blades and stepped forward, but the androids were completely unafraid of pain or attacks, relying on their bodies to forcefully crash through the blocking assassins.

Xiaobai leaped up, and an electric current fiercely struck an assassin's shoulder, causing his whole body to go numb and his strength to plummet.

Mo Yufei saw the loyal spirit beasts and the androids executing their orders, and the tight string in his heart finally relaxed a little.

The sudden appearance of the spirit beasts and androids instantly disrupted the Blood Killing Hall assassins' encirclement, and the sounds of battle erupted.

The ten offline androids, adhering to the protection instruction, fearlessly rushed towards the assassins suppressing Mo Yufei, their fists smashing hard into the assassins' bodies.

However, they were originally basic service models and did not have powerful combat capabilities. Furthermore, their power was insufficient in offline mode, so their attacks landing on the assassins were like tickling them, unable to even break through the opponent's protective black energy.

Instead, the assassins countered by swinging their shadow blades, easily slicing through their shells and clothes. The androids stumbled back one after another, their bodies covered in wounds of varying depths, revealing large areas of snow-white artificial skin underneath.

The wiring at their joints was faintly exposed, yet they still did not retreat, clinging tightly to the nearby assassins, using their bodies to buy a fleeting moment for Mo Yufei.

What really caused trouble for the assassins were the spirit beasts, Xiaohei and the others.

Xiaobai erupted with dazzling blue electric currents, squeaking angrily. Arcs of electricity surged around its body, and it suddenly flung a round electric ball, fiercely smashing it into the group of assassins. The current exploded, numbing the nearby assassins, causing their bodies to twitch and their movements to lag.

Benboba flapped its wings and took to the air, circling at extreme speed. Sharp Wind Blades were slashed out one after another, cutting through the air and heading straight for the faces of the pursuing assassins, forcing them to raise their hands to block, instantly hindering their pursuit.

Xiaohei barked incessantly, accurately locking onto the movements of every assassin and relaying it to its companions.

In the chaos, Mo Yufei seized this life-or-death gap. Without bothering to distinguish the direction, he turned and ran frantically towards the depths of the Fragment World, his heart pounding in his chest, the wind whistling in his ears.

"Don't let him run! Chase!" Roars came from behind, and the assassins pursued relentlessly.

The ten battered androids immediately followed behind Mo Yufei, mechanically adjusting their formation to guard his surroundings.

Their damaged bodies stumbled forward, their snow-white artificial skin stained with dust, yet they still steadfastly executed the protection instruction, and not a single one fell behind.

After Xiaobai released its last electric ball, its short legs kicked the ground rapidly, and it leaped onto Xiaohei's back, clinging tightly to its fur.

Xiaohei carried it, its speed surged, and it rushed ahead of Mo Yufei, running wildly while vigilantly scouting the path ahead, helping him avoid cracks and dangers on the ground.

Benboba circled and dived in the air, Wind Blades slashing out continuously, blocking the assassins' pursuit again and again, but it was also gradually running out of energy, its wings trembling slightly.

Mo Yufei had an average constitution to begin with, and having just been frightened and slightly injured, he was already panting after not running for long.

His legs felt like they were filled with lead, his breathing was rapid, his chest felt stifled, and his speed gradually slowed down. The roars and footsteps of the assassins behind him were getting closer and closer, and the crisis was looming step by step.

Just at this critical moment, Dabai, who was guarding Mo Yufei's side, suddenly let out a roar, and wild energy suddenly erupted from its body, sweeping across the surroundings, kicking up dust.

Dabai's size was seen to be growing crazily at a speed visible to the naked eye, its bones making crisp cracking sounds, and its flesh and bones were rapidly reshaping amidst the terrifying energy.

In just a fleeting moment, the originally gentle Dabai had completely changed its appearance. Its shoulder height far exceeded that of the most robust Siberian tiger, its body was sturdy and vigorous, and every muscle was knotted and bulging, full of explosive power.

On its originally pure white fur, circles of irregular dark red patterns grew, like surging energy veins, and its whole body radiated a terrifying power that made one's heart palpitate, its eyes becoming sharp and firm.

Mo Yufei instantly understood Dabai's meaning; it wanted him to ride on its back and carry him away!

At this life-and-death moment, Mo Yufei did not hesitate at all, reached out and picked up Xue Rong beside him, stumbled and leaped, and sat steadily on Dabai's broad and powerful back.

Dabai felt Mo Yufei sit firmly, let out another roar, and its four paws kicked the ground hard, like an arrow off a bowstring, running wildly towards the dilapidated ruins in the depths of the Fragment World.

The speed was so fast that it brought up gusts of wind, the gravel on the ground was kicked up, and it instantly left the pursuing Blood Killing Hall assassins behind by a distance.
