78: Chapter 78 Naming

Then he activated the space, and the spatial halo slowly spread out before him.

First, androids of various shapes and sizes stepped out from the space one by one; they stood in an orderly line on the side, waiting for orders.

Immediately after, the maintenance robots, Commander Robot, and heavy artillery robots that had previously accompanied him also appeared.

Finally, four metal boxes were moved out from the space and landed steadily on the ground—two large and two small, with functional labels printed on the box surfaces; these were the unactivated Engineering Robots and Greenery Planting Robots.

Except for Xiao Bai and Xue Rong who were still resting in the secret realm, everyone else was present.

Looking at the sealed boxes, a hint of anticipation flashed in Mo Yufei's eyes. He walked up to the boxes and reached out to press the activation button on the side of the box.

With a soft "beep" sound, the sealed locks on the box surface automatically popped open, and the box slowly unfolded.

Following the steps, he began to activate these last four robots, and they were successfully activated shortly after.

The Engineering Robot was a huge cube that unfolded after successful activation, and the Greenery Planting Robot was also successfully activated, flying out from within the box.

When he saw the appearance of the two types of robots, Mo Yufei was instantly stunned. Intense surprise surged in his eyes, and he couldn't help but widen them slightly, filled with disbelief.

The Engineering Robot's design was surprisingly very similar to Walle from the movie "WALL-E," except that it was newer; everything else was almost identical!

It had a square body, anti-slip wear-resistant treads at the bottom, flexible and foldable dual mechanical arms in front, and two large camera eyes on its head.

However, its size was several times larger than the Walle in his memory, standing over three meters tall—the tallest among all the robots.

Just after starting, the camera rotated rapidly, scanning the surrounding environment. It looked both goofy and powerful. This familiar appearance instantly transported Mo Yufei back to the scenes in his memories, leaving him completely shocked.

And the Greenery Planting Robot that flew out right after looked exactly like EVE from the film!

It had a pure white, smooth, streamlined body, a slender and elegant figure, and a hovering movement design. Its elegant and agile appearance looked both sci-fi and gentle.

Mo Yufei stood in place, staring blankly at these robots that looked so much like Walle and EVE, forgetting how to speak for a moment.

He had never imagined that in another world, he would be able to see robot designs exactly like those from his childhood memories.

Originally just ordinary engineering and planting robots, they now brought a huge visual and psychological impact due to this familiar appearance. The originally cold mechanical creations instantly gained a touch of unique intimacy.

It wasn't until the two robots completed their activation self-checks and emitted a "beep" ready tone that Mo Yufei recovered from his surprise.

Mo Yufei walked forward slowly, his gaze scanning these robots and androids.

The androids had different physiques and temperaments. If he kept calling them "android" collectively, they would all answer at once whenever he spoke. It was too inconvenient to assign tasks to individuals.

He decided to walk up to each person today and assign them exclusive names based on their physique, temperament, and personality templates.

Mo Yufei slowed his pace and first walked up to the petite and cute loli-style android. Looking at her small, delicate figure and innocent, soft expression, he spoke softly: "From now on, you are A-Li."

He walked up to the mature-style android, "You are A-Yu."

The pure-style one was named A-Chun, and the gentle-style one he had named earlier was first called Xiao Rou. To keep the naming consistent, it would be called A-Rou.

Subsequently, Mo Yufei came before the scheming-style android, "You are A-Mou."

The charming-style android had a graceful figure, and every look and smile carried a seductive charm. Mo Yufei spoke slowly: "You are A-Mei."

The tsundere-style was called A-Jiao, the cold-style was called A-Qing, and the dashing-style had a heroic spirit of a heroine, so she was called A-Ying.

Finally, Mo Yufei walked up to the android that possessed a soul-like aura. After thinking for a moment, he said slowly: "You are different from the others, so you are A-Ling."

The moment each android heard their name, their eyes lit up with a flowing light, writing the title into their own programs.

From now on, as long as Mo Yufei called out a name, he could accurately designate one person to respond and obey orders, and the chaotic scene of everyone responding at once would never happen again.

Mo Yufei shifted his gaze from the ten androids to the ten functional robots lined up neatly on the side.

Not having exclusive designations was ultimately troublesome; when he called out "Commander Robot," both models would answer at the same time, making it impossible to distinguish them when he wanted to dispatch them individually or arrange tasks.

He examined their appearances, postures, and shapes one by one to set names for them as well.

First were the two ZC-03 "Tactician" Commander Robots: one was steady and in control, coordinating the overall situation; the other assisted in deduction and strategizing.

Mo Yufei looked at them and set the names directly: "From now on, you are Commander, and you are Staff Officer."

The indicator lights on the two Commander bodies flickered slightly at the same time, entering the names into their systems and entering a standby collaborative state.

Next were the two HT-72 "Bunker" heavy laser self-propelled artillery units, which had fierce firepower, both offensive and defensive capabilities, and an imposing aura.

Mo Yufei casually decided: "You two are Da Pao and Er Pao."

The artillery mechs vibrated slightly, completing the identity registration.

Then there were the two WX-15 "Craftsman" maintenance robots, both with hovering bodies.

One had a stable hovering posture and a slightly higher altitude, while the other was small with a light and agile hovering posture.

Mo Yufei looked at their floating postures and said casually: "The one with the stable posture is A-Piao, and the small, light one is A-Fu."

The hovering light wings of the two maintenance robots flickered, and their eyes lit up with a faint glow, noting down their respective names.

Looking at the two GC-22 "Might" Engineering Robots, they were honest and sturdy, with a design resembling the classic engineering mech Walle, carrying a heavy sense of excavation and transport.

Mo Yufei looked at the familiar appearance and decided immediately: "One is Walle, and the other is Da Li."

The mechanical arms of the two Engineering Robots flexed slightly, accepting their new names.

Finally, there were the two LY-08 "Green Bud" Greenery Planting Robots, specializing in soil testing and improvement, greenery maintenance, and spiritual plant cultivation.

Mo Yufei looked at their gentle bodies and exclusive configurations for cultivating spiritual plants, and said slowly: "One is Eva, and one is Miao Miao."

With this, all 10 androids and 10 robots were named.

After the naming was completed, Mo Yufei also conducted a test, calling out a few names at random, and the corresponding robots or androids responded one by one.

The moment each robot heard its name, its body indicator light lit up, and its intelligent core had already written the exclusive title into the underlying program.

From now on, Mo Yufei only needed to call them by name to dispatch them individually or assign them precisely, and the chaotic situation of collective responses and indistinguishable commands would never happen again.
