110: Chapter 110 Underground Armory, A Conspiracy to Use Others for Gain

As expected!

There was a commotion inside the base; they had already sent people to investigate the cliff.

A team even started searching the bottom of the cliff, looking as if they were determined to find him, dead or alive.

Taking advantage of this gap, Qin Feng hurriedly took out a drone from his system.

"Little one, it's up to you now."

With a thought from Qin Feng, ghost one flew silently to an inconspicuous ventilation opening.

Through the real-time footage transmitted back, Qin Feng saw that inside the ventilation opening was a narrow vertical pipe filled with intricate wiring.

Found it!

"Come on, let's add some seasoning for them."

A crazy smile curled at the corners of Qin Feng's mouth.

He immediately maneuvered ghost one in a wide circle, aiming its nose at the base's fuel depot from the other side.

Although it wasn't equipped with bombs, the drone itself was a high-speed kinetic weapon.

"Go, self-destruct!"

ghost one shot forward like an arrow released from a bow, slamming fiercely into the weak tin roof of the fuel depot in a suicide dive!

"Boom—!!!"

A deafening roar came from the back of the base.

The sky-high flames dyed half the night sky red!

The entire base shook violently due to the massive explosion.

"The rear fuel depot has exploded!"

"Enemy attack! It's an air raid!"

"Hurry and put out the fire!"

Everyone's attention was once again drawn to this sudden explosion.

Taking advantage of this momentary chaos, Qin Feng exerted force, swinging his body like an ape to the ventilation opening; he pried open the grate with a kitchen knife and slipped inside.

He then slid down the pipe for over ten meters, finally landing on a cold, hard metal floor.

It was pitch black all around, and the air was filled with a thick, mixed smell of machine oil and metal.

He had successfully infiltrated the interior of the base.

Darkness!

Cold!

Oppression!

This was Qin Feng's first impression of the base's interior.

Danger Perception automatically activated, and he cautiously turned on his tactical flashlight; the faint beam of light swept across the narrow ventilation pipe, casting mottled shadows.

In the air, besides the heavy smell of machine oil, there was also a... peculiar scent of sulfur, characteristic of iron ore being smelted at high temperatures.

Qin Feng's brows furrowed slightly.

Why would an electronic warfare and drone relay base have this kind of smell?

He did not act rashly, but instead explored back and forth within the pipes, using them for cover, and discovered that this place was terrifyingly large.

This was a massive main ventilation pipe, extending in all directions like the arteries of a human body.

The pipe walls were covered with thick cables of various colors, like intertwined blood vessels, and the humming of electric currents could be faintly heard.

Ghost crawled silently along a branch pipe for about fifty meters, and a grated exit appeared ahead.

Through the gaps in the grate, a scene presented itself before him that caused Qin Feng's pupils to constrict sharply.

It was not the command center he had imagined, filled with servers and electronic equipment.

Instead, it was... a gargantuan, unimaginably large underground factory!

The towering dome was at least thirty meters high, and countless searchlights illuminated the area below as if it were daytime.

Below were rows of complete automated production lines.

Huge robotic arms were methodically grabbing, welding, and assembling.

On the conveyor belts, molten steel glowing with red light flowed, being stamped and molded after each process.

It was weapons!

From basic bullets and artillery shells to brand-new AK-series rifles, and even parts for rocket launchers and mortars!

At the other end of the factory was a massive ore conveyor belt entrance, where cart after cart of dark brown ore was being continuously transported up from deep underground and fed directly into huge smelting furnaces.

The iron ore from Yangjiao Village!

A buzzing sound went off in Qin Feng's brain, and he instantly understood everything.

This was no electronic warfare base!

This was simply a secret underground arsenal built on the border of the Dragon Country, using the underground ore veins of Yangjiao Village to source materials and manufacture weapons right on site!

What a brilliant plot to use someone else's resources!

What a masterful deception!

The people of Bear Country were playing a massive game! They not only wanted to steal the strategic resources of Yang Country, but they also wanted to use these resources to forge a sharp blade aimed at the Dragon Country!

Qin Feng felt a chill run down his spine.

This secret was a hundred times more terrifying than the red giant project itself!

He had to get this information out immediately!

But before that, he had one more important thing to do—pull out that "antenna" and restore communications!

Qin Feng's brain raced as he sent out Ghost to stealthily search.

About ten minutes later, Ghost returned to the ventilation pipe.

It turned out the signal jamming center was right above this arsenal, in an independent semi-underground bunker.

And the fuel depot explosion he had just caused, while creating massive chaos, had also raised the entire base's defense level to the maximum.

At this moment, he could clearly hear hurried footsteps and shouting in the Bear Country language coming from outside the metal passage above his head.

"All units pay attention! Seal off all areas!"

"Zone A search complete, nothing found!"

"Zone B is currently being searched! Search it inch by inch for me! He must still be hiding in the base!"

The carpet search had begun.

There wasn't much time left for him.

Qin Feng's gaze turned cold.

According to the information Ghost brought back, there were baskets of 82mm mortar shells on that production line that had just been manufactured and had not yet been fitted with fuses.

An incredibly bold, or perhaps even insane, plan took shape in his mind.

He maneuvered Ghost to quietly crawl down the ventilation pipe, like a shadow in the night, nimbly avoiding several patrolling Yang Country soldiers, and arrived beside the basket of shells.

Using the wreckage of the collected drone, he found one of the metal wires.

Utilizing his extensive knowledge of war systems from his past life, Qin Feng added a simple circuit-cracking function to it.

The wire precisely pierced the pre-reserved fuse interface at the tail of a shell, and a faint electric current flashed.

Success!

He had successfully hijacked temporary control of the electronic fuse of this shell using his communicator.

Then, he repeated the process, "modifying" five shells in a very short amount of time.

After finishing all this, he maneuvered Ghost and quickly returned to the ventilation pipe.

"Come on, let the fireworks be even more intense!"

A crazy and excited light flickered in Qin Feng's eyes.

He took a deep breath and, through his communicator, simultaneously detonated the five shells he had tampered with!

"Boom—boom-boom-boom-boom!!!"

A series of violent explosions suddenly erupted on the core production line of the arsenal!

A basket of shells exploded sympathetically, igniting the mountain of propellant barrels nearby, instantly creating a terrifying chain reaction.

A dragon of fire raged through the massive underground space.

The shockwave, like an invisible giant hand, tore the priceless production line into pieces; countless parts and molten steel were thrown high into the air, then fell like a meteor shower of fire.

The entire underground arsenal instantly turned into a living hell.

Alarm bells!

Screams!

Explosions!

The sounds intertwined, strangely joyous!
