135: Chapter 135: I'm coming clean! I'm here to cause trouble!

Qin Feng threw out the bionic spider.

"Go, my little darling, go and scout the place for me first."

The bionic spider received the command, its eight slender bionic limbs moving like a ghost as it slid silently down the cliff and successfully entered the Red Scorpion base.

On Qin Feng's retina, real-time high-definition images transmitted back from the bionic spider immediately appeared.

The bionic spider's path was extremely tricky; it avoided all surveillance cameras and patrol guards' line of sight, following building shadows and pipe crevices, infiltrating the core of the base without any obstruction.

[Beep! Communication center discovered, attempting physical decryption... Decryption successful.]

[Beep! Downloading internal network data of the base... Personnel list, defensive deployment map, logistics supply list... Download complete.]

[Beep! Base command post discovered, thermal imaging scan shows five people inside, currently holding an emergency meeting.]

A cold sneer curled the corners of Qin Feng's mouth.

Inside the command post, a bearded officer with the rank of Major on his shoulder was furious at the map.

"Trash! You're all a bunch of trash! An entire patrol team, twelve people, neither hide nor hair found, dead or alive, just vanished into thin air? Did you all go on a picnic?!"

He was none other than the Commander of the Red Scorpion Special Forces, Major Batu.

"Report, Major, Team A lost contact after going on patrol last night. Later, their patrol Humvee was found at the logging site, and the people we sent were all blown up. I suspect this is a conspiracy by the Bear Country people."

A signalman reported cautiously.

Major Batu's mouth twitched with anger as he continued, "Why did Team C lose contact too? Who can tell me what the hell is going on?"

"Team B's patrol vehicle is gone, and all the team members died in the Gobi Desert outside the canyon. The bodies have all been found."

The signalman reported tremblingly.

A bolt from the blue!

"How could this happen?!"

Major Batu's voice was cold.

"How did they die?"

"They were all... shot in the head, with a bullet through the center of their brows. Preliminary investigation of the scene indicates long-range sniping."

Major Batu kicked over the chair beside him, his eyes bloodshot.

"A sniper? In this godforsaken place, where would a sniper come from? Bear Country people? Or those damn drug traffickers?"

"Investigate! Dig three feet into the ground if you have to, but find this bastard!"

Just as Major Batu was throwing a tantrum, the bionic spider had already crawled through a gap in the ventilation duct and was lying in wait on the ceiling above his head.

Qin Feng watched the bearded man roaring on the screen, his eyes cold.

Capture the leader first to capture the rest.

But he didn't act immediately.

Killing Major Batu now would only cause the entire base to instantly fall into maximum alert, which was not what he wanted.

If he was going to play, he wanted to play big.

The first step was to create chaos.

The bionic spider quietly infiltrated the base's kitchen.

In the kitchen, several Cooks were preparing lunch, and a large pot of steaming beef stew was emitting an enticing aroma.

The bionic spider crawled to the edge of the pot and silently sprinkled a small bag of Qin Feng's specially made "potent laxative powder" into it.

After doing all this, it slipped into the base's water storage room like a ghost.

And did the same thing.

"Hmm, giving your digestive systems a deep SPA treatment, no need to thank me."

Qin Feng, watching from the cliff, almost laughed out loud.

Immediately after, the bionic spider went to the garage.

It destroyed the valve cores of the tires on several military Humvees parked in the corner.

They wouldn't leak air immediately, but once they drove a few kilometers, they would definitely break down.

Only after finishing all this did Qin Feng retrieve the bionic spider with satisfaction.

Now, everything was ready, except for the final spark.

He locked his gaze on a watchtower at the edge of the base.

On the tower, there were two sentries, boredly smoking and chatting.

Now was not a good time for sniping.

Wait! Wait for dark!

It's still early!

Sleep first, talk later.

...

A dark and windy night, perfect for killing.

Lanna had been waiting in the assault vehicle for six hours, her anxious heart already unable to hold back.

It's been so long, and he still hasn't returned.

She had already imagined all sorts of gruesome ways the Chef could have died.

She even started binge-eating, muttering to herself.

"It'd be better if you were dead. That'll teach you not to come back, that'll teach you not to come back, I'll eat it all."

But what she didn't know was...

At this moment.

Qin Feng set up the SV-98 sniper rifle and, through the scope, placed the head of one of the sentries into the crosshairs.

But he didn't fire.

He picked up a small pebble from the ground, calculated the trajectory, and flicked it gently toward an empty oil drum below the watchtower.

"Clang!"

A crisp sound, appearing exceptionally abrupt in the silent night.

"Who?!"

The two sentries on the tower immediately became alert, aiming their guns and peering downward.

"What's the situation?"

"I don't know, it seems like something hit the oil drum."

"Damn it, could it be a sand wolf? Go down and check."

One of the sentries climbed down the ladder while cursing, walking cautiously in the direction of the oil drum.

Just as he walked into a blind spot.

A black shadow descended from the sky!

It was the Ghost!

The sentry only felt a chill on his neck, a strange "gurgle" sound came from his throat, and then his throat was bitten through by the Ghost, and he was dragged into the darkness without a sound.

On the tower, the remaining sentry waited for a long time, but didn't see his companion return, and started to get spooked.

"Hey! Ali! Where are you? Where the hell did you die?"

He shouted loudly, but only received his own hollow echo.

He hesitated for a moment but decided to climb down to check.

He had just poked half of his body out from the ladder.

"Pfft."

A faint gunshot with a silencer rang out.

A blood hole appeared in the center of his brow, his body went limp, and he fell off the ladder, making a dull thud.

Qin Feng quickly caught the body on the ground and dragged it into the darkness to hide it.

"Done. Next one."

Then, he swaggered around, impersonating a Red Scorpion member, and began his hunt.

Using the Ghost to create noise, attracting the attention of patrol guards, and then picking them off one by one.

Throat slitting!

Unleashing the dog!

Precision kills!

Soon, a bizarre massacre began rhythmically in every corner of the base.

One patrol guard after another was precisely assassinated without even noticing.

They didn't even know how they died until the very end.

...

In the cave, Lanna was already drowsy.

It had been nearly seven hours since the Chef left.

On the radio, apart from a few routine communications, there was nothing unusual.

She smiled self-deprecatingly.

"As expected, he blew his own trumpet too hard. Probably saw how heavily guarded they were and got scared, so he found a place to hide."

She was just about to turn off the radio and get some good sleep.

Suddenly, the sound from the radio became urgent.

"Command Post! Command Post! This is Patrol Team 3, we found bodies at Watchtower 1! Repeat, bodies found! Requesting instructions!"

"What?!" Major Batu's shocked voice came over the radio, "What's going on?!"

"Both sentries have been killed! One was shot, and the other was bitten to death by an unknown animal!"

Lanna's sleepiness instantly vanished without a trace!

She sat up abruptly, her heart starting to race uncontrollably.

That lunatic... did he really take action?!
