133: Chapter 0133 Lyris

Li Size smiled as he held Felina's hand, his thumb rubbing the shimmering rune bracelet on her wrist.

"Then you must hurry, wifey!"

"With this drone, Rice's mapping mission will be a piece of cake."

Outside, the moonlight filtered through the stained glass, casting their snuggled shadows onto the rune-covered parchment.

The intertwining lines seemed to foreshadow an even more magnificent future.

The next morning, Felina carefully rolled up the drone's design blueprints and secured them in a leather scroll bag with a silver runic clasp—as her fingertips brushed the runes at the bag's opening, a hint of solemnity flashed in her pale purple eyes.

She changed into a light green dress and tied her curly blonde hair into a high ponytail, revealing her slender neck, then grabbed the bag and hurried out the door.

Leaving the academy and arriving in Gele City, Felina found a shop called "Stardust Communication Workshop." A flickering antenna model hung by the door, and the walls inside were covered with sketches of communication runes.

The owner was a bearded, middle-aged Wizard Apprentice who stood up immediately upon seeing her enter.

"Customer, do you need any communication tools?"

Felina shook her head and handed over the design requirements for the communication module.

"I need to design and produce this kind of communication tool."

The owner took the blueprints, his fingertips tapping on the runic lines.

"This is quite difficult, but we have the latest runic communication technology..."

"I'll have a prototype for you in three days."

In the afternoon, Felina went to the "Light and Shadow Recording Studio," where various Sorcery Recording crystals were on display.

The shopkeeper was a lady in a silk dress who seemed to know her. She smiled as Felina entered.

"Young Miss Felina, what kind of recording module do you want to customize this time?"

Felina took out the requirement sheet for the recording sub-module.

"I need a miniaturized Sorcery Recording array that can record video in real-time and automatically identify object categories, with relatively high resolution."

The shopkeeper picked up a transparent recording chip.

"Our newly developed 'Crystal Eye' series fits perfectly."

"Look, this is the forest footage we tested yesterday..."

Felina carefully examined the sample, her fingertips rubbing the runes on the edge of the chip. After confirming everything was correct, she took out a contract from her bag—the tip of her pen glided across the signature line.

The studio owner smiled and handed over the deposit receipt, which Felina carefully tucked away.

As she turned, her blonde ponytail swayed gently, and a hint of relief flashed in her pale purple eyes.

Li Size's drone would be able to fly very soon.

On the other side, having just seen Felina off, Li Size sat at his desk, twirling a letter sealed with cherry blossom wax between his fingers, a mischievous smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.

He dipped his pen in ink, his handwriting carrying a youthful exuberance.

"Felin girl, when are you going to acknowledge me as your big brother?"

"Big brother has a new toy this time—I've designed a sorcery drone capable of high-altitude recording."

"If you're interested, why not trade your Zero Ring 'Eagle Eye Spell' for it?"

"Big brother has been coveting this sorcery for a long time~"

He paused, a sense of pride evident as his pen glided across the paper.

"By the way, I've already finished the machine tool for the little sorcerer donkey's automated production line. Mass production won't be an issue anymore!"

"As for a machine tool that can automatically generate witchcraft firearms?"

"That's a piece of cake. Once I make it, you'll definitely be my little sister!"

After sending the letter for Felin to the communication room, Li Size rode Blue Star toward Gele City as well.

He had already arranged to meet Lilith at the café downstairs from the Carnival to discuss purchasing plantations and grain bases.

Sunlight streamed through the café's glass windows, flowing across the wooden tabletop.

Li Size had just finished ordering a Demonic Energy coffee when a dazzling figure stepped into the shop—Lilith arrived gracefully, stepping in stiletto leather boots.

A wine-red velvet dress tightly hugged her slender waist and perfectly proportioned hips.

Large waves of blonde hair fell behind her shoulders like molten honey, the curled tips dancing with a honey-like luster in the light.

Her slightly open neckline revealed delicate collarbones, and her upturned peach-blossom eyes brimmed with a coquettish smile.

She lightly brushed a stray hair from her ear and walked to the table, her swaying hem releasing a faint rose fragrance.

“Li Size, have you been waiting long?”

She leaned down to sit, her pearl necklace swaying slightly with the movement. Her shifting gaze was full of charm, clearly showing she had put effort into this meeting.

Her honey-lustered long curls rose and fell slightly with her movements, brushing against her slender shoulders as if they were alive.

The cut of the velvet dress perfectly outlined the alluring sway of her hips...

Beneath the hem, her calves wrapped in sheer stockings shimmered with a delicate glow, the crisp click of her heels on the floor marking every step with deliberate coquettishness.

Beneath her exquisite makeup, the lashes of her peach-blossom eyes, lined with fine eyeliner, were curled. A touch of light pink lip gloss adorned her slightly upturned lips, every expression seemingly pulling at Li Size's gaze.

As she leaned forward, the pearls trembled, and the fair skin beneath her collarbones intertwined with the rich rose fragrance to create an alluring aura.

After sitting, her skirt spread out, revealing her slender ankles with slightly tiptoed feet, inadvertently leaking a hint of sexiness.

Her slender fingers, painted with light pink nail polish, brushed past the hair at her temples. Coquettishness flowed through her every move, making her a landscape carefully crafted to leave a deep impression.

Li Size's gaze wandered over the curves of Lilith's wine-red dress for a moment before he pulled his eyes away.

He picked up his Demonic Energy coffee to hide his racing heartbeat.

"I've come this time because I want to acquire the plantations and grain bases around Gele City."

"The rumors of war are growing louder; there's nothing wrong with stockpiling supplies in advance."

His fingertips rubbed the rim of the cup, but his eyes unconsciously drifted toward her curled eyelashes, his Adam's apple bobbing slightly.

Lilith's pupils dilated suddenly, and as she leaned forward, the pearl necklace at her collarbone swayed even more violently. Her peach-blossom eyes locked onto Li Size.

"I know the plantation sellers very well..."

Her fingertips lightly brushed across the back of Li Size's hand, her tone as ambiguous as melted honey.

"But, how do you plan to thank me?"

Li Size's hand stiffened, and he immediately withdrew it, avoiding her burning gaze.

"Gold coins won't be a problem."

The tips of his ears turned red, yet he failed to notice that he didn't dare look her in the eye.

Lilith gave a low laugh, her finger twirling a lock of hair, her gaze lingering on Li Size's face like sticky silk.

"I don't want gold coins—"

She leaned close to his ear, her breath like orchids.

"How about becoming your lover?"

Li Size's heart skipped a beat. He looked up abruptly and collided with her obsessed eyes—his own reflection was mirrored within them, leaving him momentarily speechless.

Only after a long while did he say with difficulty:

"I... this... I'm afraid it's not appropriate."

But his fingers unconsciously tightened around the coffee cup, his knuckles turning white.

Lilith's fingertips suddenly trembled, and the coffee cup tilted with a "clatter"—the dark brown liquid flowed down Li Size's jeans, spreading a dark stain on the fabric.

She hurriedly pulled out a handkerchief to wipe it, deliberately slowing down as her fingertips brushed his thigh. She looked up with watery peach-blossom eyes.

“Oh dear, it's all my fault for being careless... The dryer upstairs at the Carnival is very fast. Why don't I take you there to take care of it?”

Her fingertips lightly hooked onto his cuff, the light pink polish on her nails shimmering with tiny specks of light under the lamps.
