158: Chapter 0158 Night Operation

"What are you talking about?"

Li Size pushed open the door, a playful smile playing on his lips.

Lilith looked up at him, her wine-red curly hair falling over her shoulders, her amber eyes like jewels dipped in honey:

"We're talking about our plan to go to the Black Crow Tavern tonight."

Flora also sat up, her lavender skin shimmering with a pearly luster under the golden sunlight:

"Master, you've come."

He said:

"In a few days, let's call Lina to Gele City as well. That way, we can have all four of us together, hehe."

Flora's eyes instantly lit up:

"Really, Master? Lina will definitely be very happy!"

Lilith also looked up, a charming smile on her lips:

"Then I must prepare well to welcome our new sister."

Li Size looked at their expectant eyes, a sense of satisfaction welling up in his heart—

With three such beautiful and considerate women by his side, even the greatest pressure would vanish into thin air.

The sunlight spilled over them through the curtains, enveloping the entire room in a gentle glow, the scent of rose incense lingering in the air.

Li Size took out two sorcery scrolls glowing with a faint golden light from a backpack and handed them to Flora and Lilith:

"These are 'First Transformation Resistance Enhancement' model scrolls. You don't have any defensive sorcery yet, so you need to learn this as soon as possible.

Also, find some time to visit me at Gray Mist Mountain Town recently; I'll forge custom-fit black magic iron armor for you.

My women must never be in danger; nothing must happen to them!"

His fingertips traced the runic patterns on the scrolls:

"When activated, it can instantly increase all-attribute resistance by 1.05 energy levels."

Flora took the scroll, her lavender fingertips stroking the ancient parchment, her peach-blossom eyes curving into crescents:

"Master always gives us the best things."

Lilith also leaned in, her wine-red curly hair brushing against Li Size's arm:

"dear's craftsmanship is becoming more and more exquisite. The energy fluctuations of this scroll are even purer than the academy's textbooks."

Li Size took out several more bottles of pale blue potion, the bottles engraved with 'Mental Energy Amplification' runes:

"These are the mental power amplification potions I brewed. Take them for emergencies.

But whatever you do, don't give them to anyone else. The potency is too high; I don't want to attract attention.

By the way, Flora.

Notify Lina to come to Gele City in a few days. I'll personally give the sorcery model scroll to her."

At the end, Li Size winked at Flora, who nodded understandingly, her silvery-purple long hair falling over her shoulders:

"Alright, Master. I'll send her a flying message right away."

The few of them snuggled on the soft large bed. Lilith's fingertips traced across Li Size's chest, while Flora's nose brushed against the crook of his neck. The scent of rose incense grew stronger and stronger.

Seeing the sky outside gradually darkening, Li Size patted the two women's waists:

"It's about time. We should head to the Black Crow Tavern."

Lilith stood up and put on a black leather outfit, outlining her exquisite curves.

Flora changed into a dark purple tight-fitting dress, her lavender skin shimmering with a pearly luster under the light, the silver bells on her pointed ears jingling softly.

The three of them walked out of the apartment. Blue Star was right downstairs. The wind duct thrusters on both sides spewed green flames, instantly flying toward the residential area of Gele City.

The Black Crow Tavern was located in a narrow alley, with a worn wooden sign hanging at the entrance depicting a black crow.

Pushing open the door, a wave of noisy sounds rushed toward them:

The shouts of the bartender, the arguments of the patrons, and the clattering of dice intertwined, while the air was thick with the mixed scent of alcohol, tobacco, and sweat.

The tavern was packed with people: mercenaries in leather armor, merchants in cloaks, heavily made-up prostitutes, and even a few Wizard Apprentices wearing masks.

Wooden tables and chairs were scattered haphazardly, the walls were covered with wanted posters and bounty notices, and the fireplace in the corner blazed brightly, sparks flying onto the floor.

Li Size found a seat by the window and sat down. Lilith snuggled beside him, while Flora sat opposite. Her appearance as a Night Elf attracted quite a bit of attention—

Several mercenaries looked back at her, and the bartender was so distracted he almost knocked over a glass.

"This place is really a mixed bag,"

Lilith frowned:

"I just heard someone say that Viscount Weisman has been hoarding grain recently."

Flora also nodded:

"And some are saying that spies from the Feiting Federation have infiltrated Gele City."

Li Size chuckled:

"This information is a mix of truth and lies, but it really is a good place.

Flora, when Lina arrives, have her arrange for more brothers to stake out places like this to collect and organize information—

Who knows, we might discover news that's useful to us."

Flora replied:

"Understood, Master. I will have Lina establish an information network."

Time passed slowly, and the wall clock pointed to nine in the evening.

Suddenly...

A middle-aged man wearing a black cloak, his hood covering most of his face and only revealing a pair of cold eyes, walked straight toward a private room on the second floor.

Less than ten minutes later, an old man wearing a black tuxedo walked into the tavern entrance.

He leaned on an ebony cane, his hair white and his eyes sharp as a hawk's; it was none other than Viscount Weisman's old butler, Graham.

He scanned the tavern, and Li Size and the others slightly averted their gazes.

The earlier encounter made them all realize that Flora was too conspicuous and it was better not to let him notice her, so they also went to the second-floor private room where the man in the black cloak had just gone.

Li Size's eyes narrowed:

"They're here—Butler Graham and that mysterious person."

Lilith also sat up straight, her hand reaching for the dagger at her waist:

"They entered Private Room No. 3."

The door to Private Room No. 3 closed. Graham took a silver bell from his pocket and shook it gently—

The bell emitted a faint hum, and the surrounding sounds were instantly blocked. Li Size and the others, sitting in the adjacent Private Room No. 4, found that the footsteps they could previously hear had vanished without a trace.
