325: Empress Brand Peach

"A Ning, wait a bit longer."

Chen Yu shouted in her sea of consciousness, "Beast-Eared Girls! We haven't gone to catch the Beast-Eared Girls yet."

Shang Wan Ning's figure paused, and her brows twitched under the black robe. "Is there anything in your head besides dirty thoughts?"

"Of course there is," Chen Yu said righteously. "That's something Mordecai has been thinking about for a long time..."

"Shut up."

Shang Wan Ning interrupted the Lewd Loli, her speed not slowing down. "Wormrock City has collapsed; the Beast-Eared Girls are long dead. I cannot use divine power exceeding the seventh rank, or the other gods of Ativi will discover my trail."

"If you want them, we'll come back next time."

Chen Yu curled her lip and stopped arguing. She began making small calculations in her sea of consciousness, secretly drawing a circle in her little notebook.

Labeled: "Beast-kin Girls — To be collected."

The two traveled swiftly, soon leaving the range of the Gray Mist Territory. The sounds of explosions behind them gradually faded, and the world finally revealed some normal light.

Shang Wan Ning released her grip on Chen Yu's collar and landed. With a shake of her black robe, the slime and bloodstains instantly vanished, and she returned to her pristine, spotless appearance.

"Wait here."

She raised her hand and drew a circle in the air. Faint blue Soul Fire outlined a portal, its Space Anchor point emitting the unique cold aura of the Underworld.

"You Yu and Tudor will arrive shortly. Tell them to act according to plan."

Chen Yu nodded. She watched Shang Wan Ning enter the portal before turning to shout at the void, "Come out, stop hiding."

Two dark shadows flashed, and You Yu and Tudor appeared before her. You Yu was clad in black armor, while Tudor was wrapped in a gray robe, his expression unreadable.

"Her Majesty has given her orders." Chen Yu cleared her throat, adopting the posture she usually used when giving lectures in the Netherworld.

"Wormrock City has fallen, and the muddy waters of the Ativi Continent are just right. You two stay behind and set up the Underworld's banner."

You Yu frowned. "Under what name? Most of the natives here believe in the Ancient Gods and the Nature Pantheon."

"Stupid."

Chen Yu rolled her eyes at Minister You, feeling a bit of excitement like a salted fish turning over. She pulled a small booklet from her bosom, the cover reading "Guide to Instant Faith."

"Read from this. Just say the Underworld is the newcomer in charge of reincarnation. Join our system, and you'll be reborn into a good life in your next incarnation—no need to be sacrifice material, and no need to fight every day."

Tudor took the booklet, flipped through a few pages, and his mouth twitched. "This is exactly the same as the multi-level marketing scripts from Mercury."

"As long as it works." Chen Yu patted the Judge's shoulder, knowing this task was a bit hard for him to speak of.

"Remember, start with the beast-kin tribes. Give some small favors, like curing illnesses or exorcising evil. Once there are more beast-kin, start a hierarchy: believers, elders, regional agents..."

You Yu listened with a complex expression. "Will this really work?"

"Why wouldn't it?" Chen Yu said triumphantly.

"Back in the Underworld, I used this script to turn a third of the Ghost Messengers into members of the Succubus Bar."

"Don't worry. Humans, elves, beast-kin... they're all the same at their core. They'll fall for this."

Shang Wan Ning's voice came from the portal: "If you've dawdled enough, get in here."

"Coming, coming."

Chen Yu waved to the two of them, painting a rosy picture: "Work hard, and I'll give you a promotion and a raise later." After speaking, she dove into the portal.

You Yu and Tudor looked at each other, both seeing helplessness in the other's eyes. But they still put away the booklet and turned to disappear into the dense forests of the Ativi Continent... Chaos Royal Court, Land of Slumber.

Sabrina curled up on a throne of white bones, the heel of her high-heeled shoe hooked on the armrest, her cardamom-colored nails carelessly stroking her bare calf.

Hearing a noise, she slowly opened her eyes, blood-red light churning within her golden pupils.

Number 69 knelt on the ground, his body trembling. "Respected True Body, the mother nest eye in the lower realm of Ativi is gone."

Sabrina's heel paused for a moment; she didn't speak.

The power of flesh and blood in the hall instantly became viscous, as if countless tiny tentacles were moving around.

"Wasn't the Subordinate God Angmar keeping an eye on Wormrock City?"

"Is his brain filled with flesh?"

Number 69 lowered his head and reported cautiously: "According to the last images sent back, it was the work of the Elf Goddess Avila. She took advantage of the battle between the two sides to launch a sneak attack on the core."

"Avila?"

Sabrina sneered and sat up straight.

She slowly took off her black silk stockings, her fingers tracing the blood vessels on her ankle, a sickly excitement in her eyes.

"Back then, I merely plotted against her elf mother tree and drank a mouthful of divine blood. She still remembers it? How petty."

Number 69 quickly agreed: "Indeed. With your status, True Body, drinking a mouthful of her blood was an honor for her."

"Angmar is also trash, unable to handle even such a small matter, wasting the energy of the mother nest eye for nothing."

"Trash should meet a trash's end." Sabrina licked the corner of her lips, her fingernails suddenly growing long and piercing a decorative skull beside her.

"Dispose of him. Subordinate gods are indeed not as considerate as clones."

"Yes."

Number 69's eyes hid an irrepressible joy. "Then, regarding the Gray Mist Territory..."

"Abandon it."

Sabrina waved her hand dismissively. "A bunch of useless followers; keeping them is a waste of food. Just sacrifice them directly to recoup some of the costs."

She stood up and walked to the mirror in the center of the hall. The mirror reflected a stunningly beautiful face, but her eyes were like poisoned blades.

"Put the Mercury plan on hold for now. The foundation of faith cannot be disrupted; let's just change the race."

Number 69's eyes lit up. "True Body, you mean...?"

"Aren't the Elves very precious?"

Sabrina's smile became increasingly eerie. "Convert them all into Blood Elves. They're both good-looking and useful."

"Doesn't Avila want to protect them? Then let her watch with her own eyes as her children become nourishment for this seat."

She turned, bloodshot veins spreading in her golden pupils. "Tell the clone to get ready."

"The next time we meet, I shall tenderly 'love' Avila properly."

She spoke the last few words softly and slowly, like a lover's whisper, but they carried a hair-raising scent of blood.

Number 69 bowed his head deeply, hiding the smugness in his eyes. "As you command, True Body."

The other end of the portal was the familiar sight of the Netherworld. Clerical Ghost Messengers were processing official business in an orderly manner, and the Wangxiang Terrace could be seen in the distance.

As soon as Chen Yu landed, she slumped to the ground, clutching her stomach and wailing, "I'm starving, I'm starving!"

"Your Majesty, I want to eat honey peaches."

Shang Wan Ning's ears turned red, and she walked straight toward the Jiaotai Palace. Just as she reached the palace gates, she saw the Black and White Impermanence coming to meet her.

"Your Majesty, you've returned." Hei Jing bowed. "Minister You and the Judge have already set out to develop believers in the Ativi Continent as planned."

"Mhm."

Shang Wan Ning nodded. "Send the 'Reincarnation Manuals' we prepared earlier to them. Follow the Mercury model."
