407: Ragnarok (Part 2)

"Astrea, can you only hide behind and emit light?" Sabrina Child took an arrow from Avila squarely on her shoulder.

Flesh wriggled at the wound, and she used the opportunity to charge in front of Astrea. Her blood claws, accompanied by a soul-tearing shriek, aimed straight for the heart.

"Let me see if your heart is as cold as your light."

Astrea's eyes sharpened. Her Holy Sword parried the blood claws, and with her other hand, she had already condensed a God of Light Seal, which she slammed towards Sabrina Child's face.

"Boom!!!"

The head-on clash between two Ninth-Tier deities erupted in a destructive impact, sending two nearby War Angels flying backward.

Sabrina Child staggered back, her face burned and lacerated by the God Seal, revealing the wriggling flesh beneath.

Yet, she didn't care, instead throwing her head back and laughing madly: "Strong enough, truly strong enough."

Avila seized this opportunity,

fully activating the phantom of the elf mother tree. Emerald branches, imbued with life and binding elements, wrapped around Sabrina Child like chains of order, layer upon layer, attempting to seal her.

Sabrina Child's scarlet pupils suddenly contracted. Facing the strangling emerald branches, a low, hoarse laugh rumbled in her throat.

"I'm tired of playing."

As her words hit the ground, the entire sub-plane shook violently.

The dusky sky was torn open by thousands of cracks, each fissure filled with swirling vortexes of flesh and blood.

The next second, dark, oppressive figures stepped out of the vortexes, surrounding the desolate valley like an iron barrel.

They were all Sabrina Child.

A thousand Seventh-Tier clones, their faces carved from the same mold as her main body, only the scarlet in their eyes was slightly fainter.

They hung silently in mid-air, their defiled divine power twisted into a single strand, forming a tangible blood-red dome that pressed down against the barrier erected by the Nature Pantheon.

The emerald branches manipulated by Avila had barely touched this blood-red dome when they emitted an ear-piercing cracking sound, and the branches began to break apart section by section, disintegrating into their most primitive natural particles.

The Elf Goddess's face instantly turned pale, and a golden streak of blood seeped from the corner of her eye.

"Now this is getting interesting."

Sabrina Child's main body licked the blood from her lips, her burn wounds already restored to normal. "The spectacle that didn't open your eyes ten thousand years ago, I'll make up for it today."

Astrea held her Holy Sword horizontally,

her silver-white battle armor gleaming coldly under the blood-red dome. "Form a formation." The command was instantly sent to Kazgoroth and Vidania via divine thought.

The three deities no longer held back.

Kazgoroth let out a low roar, a giant hammer engraved with mountain patterns appearing in his hand. "Gungnir: Earth Judgment!"

Before his words finished, the hammerhead slammed down heavily, and the plane's foundation rumbled, bulging upwards. Large rock pillars glowing with divine patterns burst from the earth, forming the base of the formation.

Vidania held a tender green sprout in her palm—"Yggdrasil: Shadow of the World Tree."

The sprout radiated a soft glow, and thick ancient roots emerged from the void, wrapping around the rock pillars and pouring all their natural binding power into them.

Astrea raised her Holy Sword high, and a majestic holy light exploded from the sword, transforming into seven seraphim phantoms that infiltrated the formation's core.

Holy light, rock pillars, and roots intertwined, forming a triangular light barrier that spanned heaven and earth, forcefully resisting the downward pressure of the blood-red dome.

The light barrier and the blood dome collided fiercely, instantly erupting in a deafening roar, and the scattered energy turbulence tore space into a thousand holes.

The three Eight-Winged War Angels had retreated outside the formation,

their light spears now healing hymns, pure holy light showering down like raindrops, barely mending the divine power of the deities within the formation that was being corroded by 'defilement'.

They simply dared not approach the core battle zone.

The elemental storm raging there was enough to tear an Eight-Winged Angel into shreds on the spot.

"Heh, a dying struggle."

Sabrina Child's main body sneered.

A thousand clones simultaneously raised their hands, and defiled divine power condensed from their fingertips into hundreds of millions of tons of scarlet spears, their tips all pointing at the triangular light barrier.

Avila wiped away the bloodstain from the corner of her eye, a fierce glint flashing in her emerald pupils. She plunged her staff into the ground before her, forming hand seals.

"Condense my divine blood, summon the source of the Mother Tree!"

Blinding emerald flames suddenly erupted around the Elf Goddess, her aura soaring in a straight line, and her long hair danced wildly.

The phantom of the elf mother tree behind her solidified to the point where the leaf veins were visible, and a massive amount of life force poured forward.

The light barrier, which had been in a stalemate with the blood dome, suddenly expanded outwards, directly shattering the foremost scarlet spears into dust.

"Avila!"

Astrea cried out, her disapproval mixed with a hint of worry in her eyes.

Burning divine blood came at too great a cost; a slight mistake could shake the very foundation of one's godhead.

Avila: "I can't help it."

"Today, this lunatic must be slain."

Sabrina Child's eyes grew even more avaricious, and a hoarse sigh escaped her throat: "So hot... such sweet life fire."

Her main body immediately led the remaining clones, transforming together into a scarlet river of blood that spanned heaven and earth, crashing head-on into the brightly glowing light barrier.

"Boom—!!!"

This collision directly pierced through eardrums.

The triangular light barrier instantly deformed violently. Kazgoroth couldn't help but let out a muffled groan, the handle of his 'Gungnir' already showing several fine cracks.

The ancient roots controlled by Vidania shattered in large sections.

Astrea's Holy Sword let out mournful wails.

Her tiger's mouth was split open, and golden divine blood dripped down the hilt.

At the forefront of the blood river, hundreds of clones instantly vaporized in the impact, but the clones behind them continued to rush forward recklessly.

Sabrina Child's main body seized the opportunity to tear open a gap in the light barrier with a claw, and defiled divine power, like venom, frantically drilled into the elemental structure.

Avila bore the brunt, spitting out another mouthful of golden blood, her emerald flames visibly dimming.

As the light barrier was about to shatter:

A fierce glint flashed in Astrea's eyes, and another artifact, "Morning Star Teardrop," which had been hanging at her waist,

that pure white, tear-shaped gem suddenly flew up, stably hovering before her brow.

"Light Judgment!"

The gem exploded with a blinding light more dazzling than the sun, and a solidified column of purifying light ignored spatial distance,

directly blasting towards Sabrina Child's main body.

Sabrina Child's eyes widened, and she shrieked, twisting her body to grab several clones to shield herself.

"Puff, puff, puff..."

The clones vaporized one after another.

The purifying light column ultimately struck her crossed, blocking forearms.

"Ah!"

Sabrina Child howled in pain.

Both her arms instantly became a bloody mess, even revealing the divine bones beneath, scorched by the holy light.

This was the first time she had suffered such a heavy loss since the war began.

"Act!"

Kazgoroth immediately roared, disregarding the damaged artifact, and swung 'Gungnir' again, forcefully mobilizing the earth power of the entire plane.

Numerous rock spikes instantly converged into a giant stone palm, grabbing towards Sabrina Child.

Vidania simultaneously exerted her power, and newly grown roots accelerated, wrapping around Sabrina Child's ankles.

Avila, meanwhile, forcefully gathered her remaining divine power, transforming the flaming "Moon Goddess's Aria" into an emerald meteor, stabbing directly towards Sabrina Child's heart.
