409: Abyss Contract

"What?" Sabrina was startled.

The strength of this Subordinate God seemed even more troublesome than anticipated.

In that split second of hesitation, the attack from the "Abyssal Sovereign" had arrived.

Endless darkness condensed into a giant palm, with a swirling vortex of desire deep within its center, directly enveloping Sabrina and the few core clones beside her.

It even included Astrea, who had attempted to intervene.

"Get lost." Sabrina roared, having no choice but to turn and take the blow head-on.

The remaining clones, along with Number 69, erupted with their final bit of filthy divine power, crashing into that giant dark palm.

Astrea's holy sword danced wildly, and the purifying holy light exploded like a storm.

Another earth-shattering explosion followed.

When the turbulent energy subsided slightly, the situation on the field became clear.

Sabrina let out a muffled groan; her already heavily wounded body suffered new injuries, and most of the last few clones protecting her were destroyed, leaving only Number 69 and one other clone barely holding on.

Astrea was also forced to retreat, her aura in disarray.

Meanwhile, "Shadow Fierce" remained firmly in front of Avila; although the filthy shield wall was covered in cracks, it stubbornly refused to dissipate.

The "Abyssal Sovereign" hovered in mid-air, dark energy surging joyfully around her, as if that previous attack hadn't taken any effort at all.

She looked down at the gods below as if they were things in the palm of her hand.

"Now," the Sovereign, played by Olexia, spoke, the flames of desire burning fiercely in her eyes, "we can have a proper talk about surrender and tribute."

The shattered plane fell into a deathly silence, with only the wailing of rules and the heavy breathing of the gods remaining.

Sabrina's face was livid, Astrea's gaze was icy, Avila's face showed despair, and Kazgoroth and Vidania were barely able to maintain their forms.

This suddenly appearing "Abyssal Sovereign" and her Subordinate God, with their absolutely unyielding stance, had become the final and only winners of this tragic God War.

At least, that was how it appeared on the surface.

Astrea stood in front of the languishing Avila, her eyes cold: "Sovereign, quite the tricks."

Olexia: "My patience is limited."

Her divine consciousness swept over the heavily wounded gods and finally fixed on Sabrina, "Sign this 'Abyss Contract', or I will help you make a choice."

She waved her hand, and a scroll slowly unfurled in the void.

At the head of the scroll were spiritual texts written in the Abyssal language. The clauses lit up one by one:

Article 1: The Orc Royal Court (Barbatos Kingdom and all its affiliated territories) is hereby transferred to the Abyss Pantheon, serving as the sole legitimate faith pastoral area for the Abyssal Sovereign.

The Nature Pantheon and all subordinate church forces shall immediately and permanently renounce all claims and interference regarding faith, politics, and military in this region.

Article 2: The existence of the Abyss Church on the Ativi Continent is officially recognized by the Nature Pantheon, enjoying the same legitimate status as the Church of Light and the Elf faith.

Abyss believers shall enjoy the right to proselytize freely within the human kingdoms, Elf territories, Dwarf city-states, and all other racial settlements; no force shall obstruct or persecute them in any form.

Article 3: The gods of the Nature Pantheon who sign this contract (Astrea, Avila, Kazgoroth, Vidania) must, within ten natural days of the contract taking effect, each offer two crystal clusters of their original divine blood to the Abyssal Sovereign (Standard measurement: each crystal cluster is equivalent to one-tenth of the divine blood reserves of a medium-power deity).

Article 4: From the date this contract is signed, the Elf Goddess Avila must fulfill a five-thousand-year labor contract, awaiting the Abyssal Sovereign's dispatch without fail. During the labor period, she is responsible for her own life and death.

Article 5: All signing parties swear by their own godhood and authority to permanently renounce all hostile intentions and actions against the Abyss Pantheon, its Sovereign, and its Subordinate Gods. The Ativi Continent hereby recognizes the Abyss Pantheon as the fourth sacred power, enjoying the same status as the Nature Pantheon and the Ancient God Pantheon.

Article 6: ...

At the very bottom of the scroll, there are five blank areas for divine power imprints.

The atmosphere froze.

Kazgoroth was so angry that he smashed a nearby rock to pieces: "Insolent! You want divine blood and people? Keep dreaming!"

"The Abyss's appetite is far too big."

Avila's face was pale as paper, her emerald eyes filled with humiliation, her lips trembling, unable to say a single word.

Sabrina's eyes rolled frantically, and she suddenly shrieked: "Want to play the fisherman? I'll tear you apart first."

Ignoring her severe injuries, she let her remaining filthy divine power boil once more, gathering into a ball of blood mist that lunged straight at the "Abyssal Sovereign".

"You don't know what's good for you." Olexia snorted coldly.

The black mist instantly turned into dense tentacles, whipping towards Sabrina head-on.

At the same time, her aura surged violently, and the pressure of an eighth-rank peak powerhouse was released with a boom.

The mother of flesh and blood tore through a few tentacles but was wrapped up like a dumpling by even more.

The two forces collided...

She realized with horror that the opponent's power level far exceeded her estimates.

At this moment, Shang Wan Ning activated the Evil God Set.

A pitch-black short spear formed in her palm, its aura also skyrocketing to the eighth-rank peak, and she sneakily stabbed it out.

"Pfft." The short spear pierced into the heart of the mother of flesh and blood.

Sabrina's body stiffened, her movements locked up.

She looked down at the spear tip protruding from her chest, her eyes wide with shock: "You... you hid so deep..."

Shang Wan Ning twisted her wrist, and the short spear exploded with a boom. It wasn't targeting the divine core, but rather forcibly injecting massive divine power, frantically eroding Sabrina's origin.

"Ah!!!" Sabrina let out a shrill scream, her massive divine body shriveling and collapsing at a speed visible to the naked eye, her realm aura plummeting from the ninth rank all the way down, finally stabilizing at the mid-eighth rank, and extremely unstable at that.

Her original divine body was essentially destroyed, leaving only a ball of filthy origin that barely maintained consciousness, floating in mid-air with a dim light.

"No, Mother God." The Number 69 clone wailed, rushing over recklessly in an attempt to protect that ball of origin.

Olexia brushed off non-existent dust, the "Abyssal Sovereign" she was playing speaking in a detached tone: "Leaving your life is out of consideration for our past 'ties'."

"Ten thousand years of slumber is a small punishment. If you are restless again..." She didn't finish, but the threat was abundantly clear.

Sabrina's origin light flickered weakly, full of resentment, but she no longer had the power to resist.

Ten thousand years of slumber; by the time her divine power recovered, who knew what level the "Abyss Church" would have grown to.

Astrea gripped her holy sword tightly, her eyes complex.

Olexia's gaze swept over the surviving gods: "Does anyone else have any objections?"

She took a deep breath, leaning on her holy sword. Two eighth-rank peak powerhouses, their own side all heavily wounded, Sabrina as a cautionary tale... to resist further would only mean falling.

"The God of Light's pantheon... will sign." Astrea spat out the words with difficulty, forcing out a wisp of brilliant golden divine blood and imprinting it on the first blank space of the scroll.

The divine blood merged, the contract text lit up, and the binding force was generated instantly.
