157: Chapter 157 Chen Mo is ordered to kill Brother Dao, Qin Yi disguises himself to stop him (Part 2)

At this time, Qin Yi also arrived behind the building. Hearing the gunshots, his heart sank instantly as he thought to himself, "This is bad. Could something have already happened?" In his urgency, he didn't even bother to destroy the surveillance cameras first. He accelerated for a few steps, then bent his body and exerted force with his legs, springing off the ground. He leaped lightly onto the second-floor air conditioning unit, and then, using his momentum, agilely climbed onto the second-floor windowsill.

Qin Yi cautiously peeked through the window into the room. Within his line of sight, Chen Mo had just landed a sharp hand-knife strike heavily against Brother Dao's back neck.

Immediately after, Brother Dao's vision went black. Like a pile of limp mud, he slumped over the office desk. The type 54 pistol in his hand slipped and fell to the floor with a "clatter."

Chen Mo hadn't expected Brother Dao to have a gun either. He spat lightly, slapped Brother Dao's back a few times, and muttered to himself, "Not bad, I didn't expect you to be playing with guns!"

As he spoke, he moved to the side, just about to step forward and pick up the pistol from the floor. But at that moment, a sudden rush of footsteps came from the hallway outside. Then came the sound of "bang bang bang" banging on the door, accompanied by anxious shouts: "Boss, Boss, are you okay? Boss, open the door quickly!"

Before Chen Mo could pick up the gun, the door was kicked open with a powerful strike. Immediately after, Brother Dao's four subordinates swarmed in.

When the four men saw their boss slumped over the office desk without any Life Qi, they were momentarily stunned. Once they reacted, one of them roared in anger, "Damn it! All together, kill him!" The other three also chimed in, shouting aggressively as they charged toward Chen Mo.

Facing the siege of the four men, Chen Mo was not afraid at all. A disdainful curve formed at the corner of his mouth as he mocked coldly, "You pieces of trash think you can take me on? You really overestimate yourselves!" With that, he took the initiative to charge at the four of them.

His figure flickered, his fists and kicks moving like the wind, each strike landing precisely on his opponents. The "ping-pong" sounds of fighting reached Qin Yi's ears through the window. Chen Mo vented his anger freely, beating the four men back repeatedly.

Soon, these four were beaten out of the room by Chen Mo in a pathetic state. Compared to the room, the hallway was even narrower, barely able to accommodate two people walking side-by-side. The four of them were squeezed together and couldn't Move freely, which instead gave Chen Mo the opportunity to use his martial arts.

Cries of "Ah... Ah..." continued to drift in from outside as the thugs fell one by one. One unlucky fellow was thrown directly down to the first floor by Chen Mo, his body hitting the ground heavily. After landing, the man twitched twice on the ground and then stopped moving, his life or death unknown.

Qin Yi spotted the right moment. While Chen Mo was busy teaching the thugs a lesson, he moved and broke through the window, agilely flipping into the room.

As soon as he entered the room, Qin Yi's gaze immediately fell on Brother Dao, who was slumped on the office desk. He quickly stepped forward and reached out to check Brother Dao's breath. Feeling that faint breathing, Qin Yi finally breathed a sigh of relief: "Fortunately he's still alive, I didn't arrive too late..."

Immediately after, his gaze fell on the type 54 pistol on the floor, and a sharp glint flashed in his eyes. This pistol was a rarity in China; after all, the Dragon country's control over firearms was extremely strict, and ordinary people rarely had the chance to even touch a gun. He wondered where Brother Dao had gotten this gun. With a thought, Qin Yi picked up the pistol and casually stowed it into the System Space.

At the same time Qin Yi broke through the window and entered the room, Chen Mo in the hallway also heard the commotion inside. Thinking that Brother Dao had jumped out the window to escape, he immediately used all his strength to knock the last remaining man to the ground. Then, he quickly hurried back into the room.

However, when Chen Mo entered the room, he discovered that another person had somehow appeared inside. The glass on the window was shattered, and Brother Dao's gun that had been on the floor was gone.

Seeing this, he immediately looked at Qin Yi warily and demanded in a cold, hard tone, "Who are you? Why are you here?"

Hearing this, Qin Yi remembered that he was still wearing the bionic disguise mask. At this moment, he still looked like the small clerk who sold digital products at the Global Digital Port.

The corners of Qin Yi's mouth curled up slightly as he said in a mysterious, cold voice, "It's not important who I am. What's important is that I know you are Chen Mo."

Hearing Qin Yi say this, Chen Mo frowned and sized him up, while his mind quickly recalled details related to the person before him. Suddenly, as if remembering something, he raised an eyebrow at Qin Yi and said with sudden realization, "It's you! I saw you in the hotel's underground parking lot. You really were tailing me. Tell me, who exactly are you? What is your purpose for following me?"

"No purpose, just simple curiosity. I just wanted to see what could make someone like you—a dignified expert at the Middle Stage of Ming Jin and one of the four members of the Hongmen Huaxia District's underground dark web—willingly act as a thug for someone else!"

Having his identity directly exposed by Qin Yi, Chen Mo's body stiffened. The look in his eyes as he watched Qin Yi became even more wary. He frowned and pressed, "Who are you really? How do you know my identity?"

Looking at Chen Mo's wary and puzzled expression, Qin Yi couldn't help but find it a bit amusing. He intentionally left him in suspense, saying, "You want to know who I am? That depends on whether you have the ability." With that, he settled into a stance and took the initiative to charge toward Chen Mo.

Qin Yi's six-dimensional attributes were already far beyond those of ordinary people, and his speed was extremely fast. In the blink of an eye, Qin Yi's fist was already attacking Chen Mo. Chen Mo's eyes narrowed, and he thought to himself, "This is bad." He then executed the Lost Ghost Steps, his figure flickering before Qin Yi's eyes and vanishing without a trace in an instant.

However, as if he had anticipated it, Qin Yi withdrew his fist smoothly. A cold smile appeared at the corner of his mouth as his gaze caught the constantly shifting ghostly shadows. He mocked, "Lost Ghost Steps? Quite a good movement technique! Unfortunately, you won't be able to use this Move many more times. I suggest you save your strength."

Chen Mo felt a chill in his heart. He could sense the confidence and contempt in Qin Yi's tone. This person could see through his movement technique at a glance; his strength was definitely not to be underestimated. He couldn't help but start guessing who this mysterious person was and what his purpose was for following him?

Just then, Qin Yi intentionally showed a weakness. Chen Mo's figure reappeared as he circled behind Qin Yi, attempting to launch a surprise attack just like the previous night.

However, as if he had eyes in the back of his head, Qin Yi keenly sensed the Aura of danger. He kicked off the ground forcefully, his body leaping into the air. He turned mid-air, executing the same movement technique and Move as the night before.

Except, compared to the previous night, Qin Yi's strength had been enhanced once again. When their fists and feet collided, Chen Mo felt a terrifying force surge from his fist along his arm like a tide, as if it were going to swallow him whole. His body retreated several steps uncontrollably. He used his hand to brace himself against the office desk behind him. Then, with a series of "crack, crack..." sounds, the already somewhat dilapidated office desk shattered. Brother Dao, who had been unconscious on the desk, also fell heavily onto the floor.

On the other hand, Qin Yi looked completely relaxed as he landed steadily on the ground. He looked at Chen Mo with interest, a sneer hanging on the corner of his mouth: "It seems I overestimated you. With only this much strength, no wonder you can only be a thug for others."

Chen Mo felt a tightness in his chest. After a light cough, there was a slight taste of blood in his mouth. He spat out a mouthful of fresh blood and then stared coldly at Qin Yi, his heart full of rage.

He shook his swollen and aching fingers and asked coldly, "Kid, your Moves are somewhat similar to that brat from last night, but you're even more formidable. What exactly is your relationship with that kid named Qin Yi? Are you a reinforcement sent by that Qin kid?"

"Damn it, do you think you're the Red Boy? I'm the reinforcement called by the Monkey! I have no idea what you're talking about!" Qin Yi said with a playful smile on his face, continuing, "However, the name 'Qin Yi' is actually quite good. Then you can just call me Qin Yi! To be honest, you're no match for me. If you're smart, you'll surrender peacefully. Otherwise, fists and feet have no eyes; if you trade blows with me and end up dead or disabled later, don't blame me."

"You brat! You're young, but you sure talk big!" Chen Mo roared, once again clenching his fists and charging at Qin Yi.

...

For a time, the room was in total chaos, with the sounds of "ping-pong" and "clatter-clank" echoing incessantly.

The two of them fought back and forth. Every collision of force seemed as if it would tear the air apart. Although Chen Mo's Hung Ga Kuen Moves were fierce, wide-open, and powerful, his physical constitution was not as good as Qin Yi's. Whether it was strength or speed, he couldn't compare to Qin Yi, and he soon fell into a disadvantage.

On the other hand, Qin Yi fought with increasing courage. His Xingyi Quan, which had reached Minor Achievement, displayed the momentum of a dragon and tiger, and its power was worlds apart from the previous night.

While the fierce battle between Qin Yi and Chen Mo was at its peak, Brother Dao, who had been knocked unconscious by Chen Mo's hand-knife strike, suddenly regained consciousness. He opened his eyes dizzily and saw another figure in the room, locked in an inseparable fight with Chen Mo. Brother Dao's heart tightened. He stole a glance at the window behind him and found it had been broken open at some point. He was overjoyed and secretly planned to find an opportunity to escape.

So, he carefully moved his body, nervously observing Chen Mo and the other man. Finding a gap, he exerted force with his feet, climbed onto the window, and then leaped down with his head tucked in.

Immediately after, a scream of "Ah!" drifted up from downstairs.

Out of the corner of his eye, Chen Mo saw Brother Dao escaping through the window. He grew anxious and, no longer caring about tangling with Qin Yi, turned around to give chase.

How could Qin Yi let him leave so easily? He spotted the opportunity, and his consciousness instantly entered the System Space to retrieve the type 54 pistol from earlier. Qin Yi had never touched a gun in his life. Imitating the way police officers looked in movies and TV shows, he aimed at Chen Mo and pulled the trigger without hesitation.

With a "bang" of gunfire, blood splattered from Chen Mo's shoulder. Qin Yi shouted sharply, "Stop! If you dare take another step, I'll blow your head off!"

Chen Mo's figure came to a halt. He turned around with a look of terror, staring wide-eyed at Qin Yi. He saw Qin Yi looking at him with a face full of triumph, sneering, "Oh my, these days, a gun is still more useful." With that, he pointed the gun at Chen Mo again. "When you were learning kung fu, did no one tell you not to expose your back to your opponent?"

Clutching his bleeding shoulder, Chen Mo glared at Qin Yi, his face contorted and hideous with pain and anger. He cursed through gritted teeth, "Damn it, shooting someone in the back, who the hell do you think you are!"

Unmoved, Qin Yi stepped forward and pointed the gun at Chen Mo's head. Staring at him with sharp eyes, he said coldly, "I told you long ago, if you had just surrendered peacefully, there wouldn't have been all this trouble. See, you ended up taking a bullet after all."

"Enough nonsense! Since I've already fallen into your hands, do whatever you want with me!" Chen Mo said stubbornly.

"Alright, you should save your strength. I won't kill you, nor will I skin you. The crimes you've committed will naturally be handled by the police. I can give you a chance, as long as you tell me: why would you, one of the four members of the Hongmen Huaxia District's underground dark web, be willing to act as a thug for that Zhao Lintai? What exactly is your purpose?"

Hearing this, Chen Mo suddenly laughed. He chuckled, his smile revealing a bit of helplessness and self-deprecation. He said in a relaxed tone, "What purpose could there be? Naturally, it's for money. So what if it's Hongmen? Do people from Hongmen not need to eat?"

Qin Yi's brow furrowed, and a flash of doubt crossed his eyes as he looked at Chen Mo. After a moment of contemplation, he spoke slowly with a hint of playfulness in his tone, "What you say seems to have some truth. However," his tone shifted, and his gaze became sharp, "do you think I'll believe you so easily?"

Hearing this, a cold smile appeared at the corner of Chen Mo's mouth, but he didn't answer directly. His gaze inadvertently flickered toward the window, where he saw Brother Dao He was limping as he fled deeper into the woods.. He cursed "damn it" in his heart, but his face remained expressionless as he casually changed the subject: "Whether you believe it or not is your business. Since you don't even dare to reveal your real name, you're probably not a good person either, are you? Let me guess—in China, those who can accurately state my identity, aside from a few high-level members of the organization, would likely only be from National Security!"

Before Qin Yi could respond, the rapid sound of police sirens suddenly came from the distance. Chen Mo's eyes widened instantly. He looked at Qin Yi with an expression of sudden realization: "You brat! You really are from National Security! You're stalling for time with me just to wait for reinforcements to arrive, aren't you?!"

"You talk too much," Qin Yi said, giving him a faint glance with a flash of disdain on his face. Without another word, he struck Chen Mo's back of the head heavily with the butt of the gun. Chen Mo's vision went black, his consciousness gradually blurred, and his body slumped to the ground as if drained of strength.

Looking at the fallen Chen Mo, a triumphant cold smile appeared on the corner of Qin Yi's mouth. He casually stowed the gun back into the System Space and turned to look out the window. Seeing Brother Dao's stumbling and limping figure, he knew the man wouldn't get far, so he was no longer in a hurry.

Next, he leaned over to look at the valuables in the safe. Although he knew these were Brother Dao's illegal gains, he still moved his mind and conveniently stowed all these valuables into the System Space. Then, he crudely unplugged the computer's power, quickly took the host apart, pulled out the hard drive inside, and tossed it into the System Space as well.

By the time he finished all this, the police sirens in the distance were already approaching like thunder.

Qin Yi's brow furrowed. He didn't want to be exposed in front of the police either, so he immediately flipped out of the window.

Brother Dao was in a state of panic, fleeing toward the depths of the forest while frequently looking back.

Suddenly, he discovered with horror that the strange man had actually leaped down from the second-floor window. His movements were clean and efficient, and after landing, he didn't pause for a second, charging straight toward him.

Brother Dao didn't know the other man's identity or his purpose for chasing him, but since he could escape from Brother Mo's hands, his strength was definitely not to be underestimated. Just thinking about it, Brother Dao felt his Soul Flying Away and Spirit Scattering. He hurriedly quickened his pace, wanting to shake the man off. However, the more anxious he was, the easier it was to make a mistake. He stumbled and fell heavily to the ground, grimacing in pain.

Qin Yi also closed in rapidly. Brother Dao retreated in terror on the ground, his eyes full of pleading, "Hero, spare my life! I—I'll give you money, lots and lots of money..."

Qin Yi looked at him coldly, a mocking smile appearing at the corner of his mouth: "Brother Dao, right? Money—I'm not lacking! You've done so many evil things, it's time you paid the price."

Brother Dao trembled with fear, retreating continuously. Just then, the sirens grew even closer. Qin Yi's gaze sharpened, and he stopped wasting words with Brother Dao. He landed a sharp hand-knife strike on Brother Dao's neck, and Brother Dao's vision went black as he fainted on the ground once more.

Qin Yi grabbed Brother Dao's foot like he was picking up a chick and dragged him back to the spot under the second-floor window.

Then he quickly turned around and sprinted toward the direction where he had parked his car.
