100: Chapter 100 Speculation about the Origin Aliens

The Bone Stripper raised the ship in its hands above its head.

It tilted its head back and let out a roar toward the sky.

"Roar!"

Countless clouds of gray mist were spewed out by the Bone Stripper; after the mist enveloped the ship, it suddenly contracted.

"Sir, there's something strange about this gray mist; it's corroding the hull."

Under the corrosion of the gray mist, the ship's outer shell was no longer as sturdy, and cracks began to slowly appear.

"Full power! Try to break through."

The ship's commander ordered, but he knew in his heart that against the monster's massive size, such an action was useless.

As expected, even though the ship pushed its Anti-gravity Engines to the maximum and the fuel injection ports were already in an overloaded state, the ship was still held firmly by the Bone Stripper, showing no signs of breaking free.

Looking at the images on the display screen and hearing the alarms filling the ship, the captain sitting at the console took a deep breath.

He accessed the fleet's communication channel and spoke as calmly as possible:

"General, you go first. Once you reach a safe distance, I will detonate all the Antimatter Bombs on board."

Hearing the words of that ship's captain, the Old General on the flagship stood up.

He didn't waste words and directly ordered.

"Evacuate. Don't let them sacrifice themselves in vain."

If there were even a glimmer of hope, the Old General would not have given this order.

But in the current situation, evacuation was the optimal solution.

If they lingered here, not only would they fail to rescue their companions, but they might also fall here themselves.

"Take care of our families!"

This was the final communication sent from that ship.

The fleet began to accelerate, evacuating this place of strife.

Seeing the fleet about to leave, the Bone Stripper, still clutching the ship in its hand, flew up to pursue them.

However, as a primitive beast, the Bone Stripper's speed ultimately could not match a technological civilization that had developed its technology tree.

After pulling a safe distance away from the Bone Stripper, the ship held in its hand suddenly exploded.

"Boom!"

The massive sound echoed throughout almost the entire Eighteen Stars.

After the ship in the Bone Stripper's hand exploded, the fleeing ships ahead also began dropping Antimatter Bombs toward the Bone Stripper behind them.

To deal with future dangers, they were relatively restrained in dropping bombs, not letting hatred blind them.

"Rumble!"

The loud noise rang out again, and the Bone Stripper hurriedly used the gray mist and its back for protection.

After a round of volleys, the Bone Stripper's figure had vanished from its original spot.

"Is it dead?"

An inquiring voice suddenly came through the communication channel.

"It's still alive!"

An observer replied.

After hearing the communicator's words, the communication channel fell into silence.

...

After arriving in the outer space of Eighteen Stars, the Origin Star People were immediately shocked by its massive size.

The Origin Star People present were all highly educated, and they had some understanding of the basic conditions of the universe.

Even without measurement, they knew it was impossible for such a large terrestrial planet to exist in the universe.

But today, right before their eyes, this terrestrial planet directly threw their common sense to the ground and trampled on it ruthlessly.

Those two stars, which seemed like "satellites" to this terrestrial planet, further overturned the cognition of these Origin Star People.

"General, this..."

A technician from the fleet came to the Old General's side; looking at the situation of Eighteen Stars, he didn't know where to begin.

"Do any of you have anything to say? Let's hear it."

Old General gazed at Eighteen Stars and spoke slowly.

His voice also carried a trace of an imperceptible tremor.

"General."

An elder stepped through the crowd and came before Old General.

He looked into Old General's eyes and spoke with an extremely serious tone:

"When I saw the situation around this planet, a flash of déjà vu instantly crossed my mind."

"After thinking for a while, I found the source of this déjà vu."

Speaking to this point, the elder paused, then tremblingly pointed at the empty starry sky around them and said:

"I once conducted experiments on modifying lower organisms."

"Before the experiment, I would clear an empty area to serve as the experimental site."

Then, the elder pointed his finger at Eighteen Stars and its two "satellites."

"I would also build the experimental site to be as unique as possible, so as to better conduct control experiments."

"In the later stages of the experiment, I would also introduce foreign species to test the strength of the test subjects."

After the elder's words fell, all the Origin Star People present fell into silence.

Everyone present was intelligent; they knew what the elder wanted to express without even thinking.

At this moment, an unknown powerful civilization quietly loomed over the heads of the Origin Star People.

After a long silence, the Old General took a deep breath.

He gave a bitter smile.

"These are all just speculations. Don't overthink it, everyone. Let's continue our mission."

"Scan the distribution of life forms on this planet."

Everyone knew that the elder's speculation was very likely true.

And the existence of them, the Origin Star People, might just be to test the strength of these terrifying monsters.

But even knowing this, the Origin Star People were unwilling to admit it.

At least as long as they didn't state it explicitly, they might still have a slim chance of survival after dealing with those monsters.

The Origin Star People all knew this, so they tacitly avoided mentioning it again.

...

"General, this is the distribution of life forms on this planet."

A technician manipulated the console in front of him a few times, presenting a 3D Holographic Projection before the Old General.

He pointed at the image on the holographic projection and explained to Old General:

"The distribution of life forms on this planet is strange."

"Most of the life forms are concentrated on this side."

As he spoke, the technician pointed one hand at the holographic projection and the other at the North Pole of Eighteen Stars.

"Starting from the Black Belt in the middle of the planet, the number of organisms begins to decrease in this direction."

The technician pointed his finger toward the South Pole and drew a circle in the air over the South Pole.

"Within this range, there are no longer any life forms."

"Not only that, while detecting the distribution range of life forms, we also made a startling discovery."

The technician kept his finger on the South Pole Point, not taking it away immediately.

He pointed at the South Pole Point and said:

"This place possesses abundant energy. If we can harvest this energy, the speed at which the fleet absorbs it would be even faster than the speed at which we absorb Stellar Energy."
