192: Chapter 192 Grotto Heaven

Following the guidance in his heart, Lin Sheng arrived at a peculiar star field.

This star field was filled with extremely vigorous vitality, and a divine tree even more massive than the previous "Ximi God Statue" towered at its center.

The divine tree was so tall that even an ordinary god could not see its full extent.

The top of the divine tree was connected to a unique small space; this space was neither the Deep Realm nor Subspace, but it gave Lin Sheng a feeling no less significant than those two spaces.

The roots of the divine tree were planted within the star field, with a lush root system directly covering the entire star system.

Lin Sheng noticed many members of the Dragon Race traveling back and forth within the star field, but most were concentrated in the lower half of the divine tree.

Above the midpoint of the divine tree, there was no trace of the Dragon Race to be seen.

In Lin Sheng's eyes, this star field, set against the divine tree, miraculously possessed the concepts of "Heaven" and "Earth."

The star field was the "Earth," the space above the divine tree was "Heaven," and the divine tree itself was a "Heavenly Ladder" leading to "Heaven."

Rona glanced at the divine tree ahead with awe, then turned his gaze toward Lin Sheng and spoke with a hint of cowardice:

"Venerable God, how about we leave?"

Hearing this, Lin Sheng turned his head and looked at Rona in surprise.

Noticing Lin Sheng's gaze fall upon him, Rona explained cautiously:

"Venerable God, I feel that the Dictator is much stronger than when I left."

"The pressure this divine tree gives me is also even more powerful."

"Standing here now, the sense of fear in my heart is even stronger than when facing the Old Ones."

After hearing Rona's explanation, Lin Sheng nodded slightly.

"Mm, I understand."

Then, he waved his hand dismissively at Rona:

"If you're afraid, you should leave first. It makes no difference whether you're here or not anyway."

Hearing Lin Sheng's blunt words, Rona's face fell.

He lowered his head in thought for a moment; when he looked up again, the fear on Rona's face had vanished, replaced by an expression of "about to face death."

"Venerable God, I will go with you!"

Seeing Rona say this, Lin Sheng smiled.

"There's no need for you to go."

"But if you really want to, I will protect you."

With those words, Lin Sheng took a step forward, his figure instantly appearing at the foot of the divine tree.

He did not hide his aura; this terrifying presence and his massive size immediately attracted the attention of the Dragon Race experts.

Noticing this monster whose appearance and aura were both so terrifying, almost all of the high-level Transcendents of the Dragon Race who could make it arrived on the scene.

They surrounded Lin Sheng and Rona, but they did not act rashly.

Several demigods among the Dragon Race recognized Rona at this moment, which allowed their tense nerves to relax quite a bit.

Those demigod dragons exchanged glances, and one who seemed to be an acquaintance stepped forward.

It cautiously glanced at the terrifying figure beside Rona, then its gaze fell on Rona as it asked respectfully:

"Excellency Rona, may I ask what is going on?"

Hearing the question from this fellow clansman who could be considered an "old friend," Rona looked at Lin Sheng beside him. Only after Lin Sheng nodded slightly did he speak:

"I have come to liberate you."

Rona spoke these words loudly; even the Dragon Race members several light-years away heard him.

The expressions of the dragons who heard this varied, but most held an attitude of "distrust."

The dragon who had just asked was even more shocked.

Its expression changed, and it wanted to step forward to pull back this lunatic who wanted to "start an uprising in front of the Hall of Supreme Harmony."

But before the dragon could make a move, the world suddenly fell silent.

The space above the divine tree suddenly opened at this moment, and a burst of Five-Colored Radiance scattered from the opened space.

At the same time, a hearty laugh accompanied that Five-Colored Radiance, traveling from far to near and reaching the ears of every creature present.

"Hahaha!"

"A fellow Daoist has come from afar, yet I did not come out to welcome you. This was indeed a lapse in my manners."

"Why don't you come into my Grotto-Heaven for a chat, so that I may express my apologies?"

Hearing this voice coming from the Grotto-Heaven, not only the dragons present, but even Lin Sheng, almost couldn't keep his composure after understanding the information contained within.

Since arriving here, he had been trying to perceive information about this so-called "Dictator."

But this Dictator was no simple character; without close contact, the Dictator's information was blocked as if by a membrane, which made Lin Sheng very uncomfortable.

He had no way to pierce this membrane, so he knew very little about this Dictator, with much of his information coming from Rona's mouth.

But now, upon hearing the invitation from this so-called Dictator, Lin Sheng suddenly had a moment of realization.

Lin Sheng's current Omniscience was based on the information of this universe. The Dictator did not belong to this universe; he naturally possessed a layer of information isolation.

For Lin Sheng to try and perceive the Dictator's information through this layer of isolation was undoubtedly extremely difficult.

...

As the Five-Colored Radiance landed at Lin Sheng's feet, after a moment of thought, Lin Sheng stepped directly onto it.

The radiance carried Lin Sheng toward the entrance of the Grotto-Heaven. Watching the radiance gradually recede, the dragon who was an acquaintance of Rona could no longer hold back.

He leaned in toward Rona, and after cautiously glancing at the Grotto-Heaven suspended at the top of the Jianmu, he asked Rona:

"Excellency Rona, what is the background of that person?"

"Why do I feel that even the Dictator treats him with such respect?"

Although in the eyes of the Dragon Race, the Dictator's rule over them was oppressive, the Dictator did not restrict their freedom of speech.

As long as they didn't stand at the entrance of the Grotto-Heaven and curse him, even if the dragons shouted obscenities in the star field, the Dictator would not bother with them.

Therefore, this demigod dragon dared to discuss the Dictator behind his back.

However, while it discussed the Dictator, this dragon was still very much in awe of Lin Sheng.

Regarding Lin Sheng, it didn't dare say much, and didn't even dare to come up with its own way to address him.

Feeling the pressure and fear that had already vanished from his body, Rona let out a long breath.

He looked at his old friend beside him and spoke with a bit of a tease:

"Kate, I still prefer the way you were when you called me 'Rona the Scoundrel.'"

After following Lin Sheng for so long, Rona's "divinity" had long been completely suppressed by his "original nature."

Now, even if he were facing a mortal, he could crack a joke or two, let alone with this old friend of his.

Seeing Rona like this, the dragon named Kate was stunned for a moment, then became overjoyed.

"Really? Rona the Scoundrel?"
